When I got up on Saturday, February 19, the furnace was not working and the house was down to 59°. I called Naugle at 6:30 AM and Jim called me back a little after 8, was at the house around 9:30, and the furnace was running again at 10:30. He explained what was wrong, repaired it, checked a few other things, and explained to me several aspects of the furnace operation. I will definitely call him again if I have any issues or if I need a new furnace. The negative reviews on this site complain about the cost. These are very knowledgeable people and their time is valuable. If the repair is simple, do it yourself. If you hire a professional and he has to travel to your place, expect to pay for his time, even if the ultimate repair is not complex. Jim told me when I called what the charge was to come so there were no surprises.
Mary L.My elderly mother was charged a total of $177 to install a new flapper and lever on a toilet. Unfortunately, she called them when I wasn't there.
Seriously, $139 for a lever and a flapper, that I could have replaced myself. Look those parts up on Google or take a trip to the hardware store. This had nothing to do with ""expertise"" which I was told.
Marshall W.Please please keep searching. I don't want to use the word ""scammers"" but pretty damn close. Literally charging an elderly woman $170 to tighten a set screw. This is poor business ethics and Tecumseh doesn't need this type of business here.
