Joseph J.NWS has been our go to water service company for 20 years. They've always arrive on time and work until the job is complete.
I have worked with the owner David, and his father Rene before him, on purifying the water at all our commercial locations. I have personally been using their services for over 20 years. The water is great, the installation is thorough and clean, the staff and maintenance crews are the best. You will never ever drink anything but reverse osmosis water for the rest of your life. Thanks team NWS!!

National Water service did a great job, had the best price out of several companies, was the most recommended to us by other happy neighbors, and they also pointed us to a coupon to take advantage of when the technician came. Great company!
We are on a well and have a reverse osmosis water system and went to change our filters on the system and it stopped working after reset up. We were getting no filtered water through our fridge or sink. We called this company and they came relatively quickly. However, the man who came was rude and angry we tried to do it ourselves first and wasn't able to fix it on the first visit claiming he needed another part, an auto shut off valve. He came back with a young helper- a really nice, calm, and polite young man. However, the main guy was again rude and very unprofessional, certainly not teaching this young guy how to act at all! He replaced the auto shut off valve and the system seemed to provide us water, but he claimed it still was not working properly and he had no idea why. He left and we got a bill in the mail that I paid although I think the time was more than it should have been since he seemed to have no idea what he was doing and spent more time cursing than anything. I have no idea if it is really working the way it should, but we are getting our filtered water. I will not try to do it myself again, but will also use another company next year!
John P.I started using NWS annually as they are a local business in Highland and I was curious to see the quality of our well water. The technician(s) arrived on time if not slightly before the scheduled appointment - I value this kind of punctuality greatly. They took their time explaining everything in the water testing process and made sure our water filtration system was in perfect working order. I had a reverse osmosis system installed by them and our water is phenomenal. I definitely recommend one of these systems if on a well. The second year they came out again right on time. The technician was quick to identify a small hiss coming from our system I was oblivious too. The piston had gone bad and was sipping water from our well and dumping in straight into our septic. This is why annual system checks are important and I'm glad these guys know their trade. I've been very satisfied with them so far and will continue to support their business. Highly recommend.
John L.Now that we're finished with having to contest our case in court I feel unencumbered to share my disapproval of the service we received last year from NWS.
We called due to a leaky pipe in our foundation--it was a cracked elbow joint about a foot and a half under ground against the outside of our foundation.
To dig this two foot hole, NWS charged us $900 for 45 minutes of excavation--one worker and a shovel. When we asked for an invoice, they refused to provide one. The worker who arrived had no paperwork, and in hindsight we should have sent him away. We called NWS to fix our issue, they hired a subcontractor and paid them after the fact without monitoring the work or discussing the bill with us.
The contractor also refused to give us a quote when he was finished the job on the day of the work. By contesting the $900 labor charge we found out through court documents that the contractor billed $450 for his work. NWS has overhead, and they consider $450 a fair markup for spending 20 minutes on the phone with us and writing a check out to an unsupervised contractor who couldn't speak English.
We spoke with both the owner and vice president over the phone multiple times, they refused to give us an invoice or explain the charge. They were extremely unprofessional on the phone, frequently saying that we would be ""raped"" by other outfits if we had hired them, and using that as a justification for billing us $900 for less than an hour of labor.
After 8 months the VP of the company Noel called us about settling the charge. After a somewhat contentious conversation he offered us a revised total of $475 before hanging up and texting immediately that the offer was rescinded and we would be going to court. They were nothing but belligerent and hostile about the cost and they failed to even consider our perspective regarding the work. We hired them, we expected them to do the work. They sent someone else, who billed them, and they paid this person without consulting with us.
We were never presented with an estimate or a contract for this work. Thanks to unjust enrichment precedent with which this company is VERY familiar with, we ended up having to pay $360 after court. They're almost as familiar with contract law as they are with making appearances at the court house--I'll let you decide how their VP bragging about taking customers to court ""hundreds of times,"" and knowing the judges at the local court house speaks to their reputation.
Although we certainly lost more than $500 worth of our time dealing with this company, we were satisfied that we didn't have to pay their outrageous $450 markup for calling a subcontractor.
What would we have preferred? Had they sent a bill for $365 a year ago we would have paid it without issue. I'd still have considered that a high charge but not high enough to contest it. The fact of the matter is that the contractor they sent ripped them off and they paid him without our consent.
Watch out for this shady business practice, and always...ALWAYS have a signed contract BEFORE work is done. We expected one the day of the service and when we were refused one we should have raised more of a stink.
Devon N.I was a residential customer of National Water Service from the 1990s through 2015 or so. Back then, Rene was the owner & he came out each year to service the system and in his wonderful French accent regaled me with his rich arsenal of stories about water and well water contamination. I don't have a well, but was sold on NWS 5-stage RO filtration system. It has lasted from the 1990s & was still going strong in 2015!
Over the years, NWS never failed to provide excellent service - not when Rene passed away & his son, David took over. It seems that NWS has expanded since its beginning of RO water filtration systems. Glad to see a family-owned business thrive!
Called with a water pressure problem. Dave asked some questions and diagnosed the problem over the phone so I was able to fix it immediately without a service call. Five stars.
Everything from sales to installation went as expected and well. Showed up on time, explained what it was they were found, spent time educating me on specifics of the system and were immaculate. Highly recommend them to anyone.
Hulq S.The president of the company, David, came to my house to give me a quote on a replacing my filtration system. He explained how the system worked and seemed to be quite knowledgeable. He scribbled a few things down on scrap paper for a quote and said he would send a formal quote by email the next day. A few day later I called and emailed asking for the formal quote and never received one. I expected a formal detailed quote/contract when I'm going to spend a few thousand dollars with you. I did not pursue using their services any further.
