I called them based on Yelp ratings and closeness. They came promptly at the time agreed, quickly went to work and had the clog in our kitchen main line drain cleared in 15-20 minutes. Very professional explaining what they were doing.

Ron and his team at National Rooter are the best. They are professional and courteous and are committed to solving their customer's problems at a fair price.

We had a backed up sewer line. Another company came to try to fix it but failed and charged $600 despite their failure. Ron's team from National Rooter came and successfully removed the blockage, and then when it happened again came to the house to root it out again without an additional charge. Finally National Rooter discovered the real source of the problem with a camera (cracked sewer line) and fixed it at a reasonable price.

The comparison between National Rooter and the other plumbing company is incredible. With the other company it felt like they were trying to extract as much money as possible from our family's misery. National Rooter's plumbers thought about the possible sources of the problem and quickly found and fixed it. National Rooter is the only plumber we'll use in the future.

Our sewer backed up into our downstairs bathroom and entryway. Need we say more? We contacted National Rooter because it was rated 5 stars on Yelp. Two servicemen came within one hour and cleared the line efficiently, professionally and in a friendly manner. Moreover, the cost was reasonable. We will definitely call them again if the need arises.

I have a chronic spot where my main line hits the property line, which I have to
get cleared every 6 years or so for roots. 3 years ago, a different company
wasn't able to get it to clear -- no slight to them, the pipe is probably cracked/offset
where my cast iron hits the city clay pipe, so a bit iffy. I called Ron, and his employee Sal showed up, and was able to get the pipe cleared/cut some roots after a bit of effort. Just last weekend, I got a new blockage at higher branch in my main line -- I got it flowing by snaking with a garden hose, but couldn't get the hose past a certain point, and knew it needed a real cleaning. Called Ron yesterday, and Sal was able to come out later that day. He quickly cleared the new blockage (that part of the pipe had probably never been cleaned in 45+ years), then he ran the cutter out to the chronic spot for me. Fortunately, the chronic spot was pretty easy to get through, and now I should be good for another 6+ years. All done in about 40 minutes, within the minimum charge time.

From their name, you wouldn't know that they did anything but drain clearing, but they also do copper plumbing repipes, and probably other plumbing work.

I called National Rooter in the morning due to a dripping noise in my crawl space and Ron showed up the same afternoon. He found the reason for the noise immediately and explained that it is caused by expansion of the pipe when running warm water. Hence, nothing to worry about.

Ron didn't charge me anything for this service and I can just highly recommend him to anyone as he is very reliable, punctual and detailed.

National is anything but national. They're a small family run business that is very courteous and responsive. I used them to clear a drain today for the first time and Sal was in and out in 45 minutes. I wish I had called them first before wasting hours of my weekend and missing the 49er game trying to do the job myself. National was recommended by my neighbor. They called to give me updates on when they would arrive and that is a valuable trait for a busy guy like me. I definitely recommend them.

Ron was running a little late today, but called before the deadline to give me an updated arrival time -- I appreciate his doing that. My slow-running shower drain was not a big challenge, but Ron and his partner treated it seriously and quickly had the problem taken care of. Sal was also out to fix a drain clog a few years ago, and both experiences have been the best I have ever had in receiving this kind of service. I hope National Rooter is around for a long time, because I know there will be drains to fix in the future, and I do not want to have anyone else but National Rooter do the work -- They are at the top of the list in my book, and the 5-star rating is well-deserved!

When a business earns nothing but 5 star reviews on Yelp, you know they're doing something very, very right.

Ron Pereira was extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. Didn't mind me looking over his shoulder the entire time (I like to see how repairs are done), was quick to find out the problem, and even took a quick jaunt to the local hardware store to pick up parts he needed without batting an eye.

This is the plumbing service you want to use.

Anyone could have come in here and run the rooter when my kitchen sink blocked up. But Sal, from National Rooter, actually looked at it, thought briefly and then decided to just open up the area of the pipe where he suspected the whole problem was.

He was right - and his consideration of the problem (as opposed to 'auto pilot' which i have seen before) saved us money, time and aggravation.

Plus he built in a thing into the pipeline that enables my husband to do it himself in the future. And he gave us sound advice on what to put down our garbage disposal and what to not send down there. We are very impressed by their great customer service.
