We contracted with NEP to replace our shower system. Laura, Glen, and Rise were so helpful in determining options by explaining all the processes and products required. (removal and reinstalling cultured marble walls & shower door & frame)
The plumbers (Guillermo & Malcolm) were professional, friendly, & explained the whole process going straight to work on arrival! The tile/marble man, Daryl Ricks, was amazing as well. He & his co-worker removed and re-installed walls, door, & glass panels that look better than new! All done in less than a day and everything left clean & lovely! Would not hesitate to hire them again!

I was on the hunt for a drain valve for an old style wash down toilet also known as Victorian style toilet. I love that businesses in town are not afraid to recommend local competitors . I first went to Germantown hardware who told me that it was so old I would not find it but sent me to All Rite plumbing anyway. They also did not carry the product but recommended National because he knew they carried vintage style products. Thank God they had the part and at a reasonable price.

I called this company after having a water leak by my outside shut off. They responded promptly with great customer service. I called several other companies that couldn't get to me for days. But this company went out of their way to help me. I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. I will use them again and again

During the snow storm, we checked under the house for leaks and, of course, found one. We called National Economy ( we have used them several times in the past). They sent someone out and told us the fix could take 4-8 hours without water. We opted to wait until the storm was over and have them come back. They came back when we were not home for four hours (according to the bill) and told us the leak was fixed. When we got home and checked neither leak was fixed! We called back and they said they would send someone else out. The second group of plumbers were there 1.5 hours and actually fixed two leaks. When I called to check on the total cost they ended up charging me for both visits to my house. I did call and talked with Glen about my bill and he was persistent that the first plumber did four hours of work and it was fixed. They refused to change the charges even though nothing was repaired the first visit. So after several weeks and $1100 the leaks were finally repaired. If you are looking for someone to hold their hand and pay to do one job twice these are the guys for you! I would never again recommend National Economy Plumbers.

Be wary of this company. They came to fix a tub drain which required the removal of 4 small pieces of tile from the surround. The pricing for the actual plumbing was reasonable - maybe around $300. The problem with them is that they brought a tile person who charged $600 to do the tile work - which took all of 1 hour and didn't involve even buying new tiles. After at least 6 attempts to talk with them about an adjustment to that exorbitant price and being told by Glen that he'd ""get back with me"", I never heard from them. They had no interest in even reviewing their pricing. A business who won't even discuss an obviously extremely high component of their pricing is not one I'll ever do business with again and will discourage anyone from using them in their home.

National Economy Plumbers have been my go to plumbers for thirty years. They do the job correctly, and they are very professional. I have never felt overcharged for their services. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber.

National Economy Plumbers are the best plumbers I have ever used. My house is close to 100 years old, and they understood how to deal with all of my plumbing problems. Their reputation is one of the best in Memphis. You get what you pay for.

They're not economy. They're as expensive as the rest of them. However, they did let me pay in installments, which was very helpful and also, they certainly did the job right.

They are at least 2 - 3 times more expensive than any plumber we have ever used.
We had them install a pedestal sink and faucet and replace two water valves for our clothes washer, and the bill came to over $1000, and we provided the sink and faucet (they said no problem). My bad for not getting a quote. They were very polite when I questioned the bill. I think they said $130 for the first half hour, and then I think they said $75 for each half hour. Charged over $200 for 2 wall water valves ($6 each at Lowes), 2 washing machine valves ($6 each at Lowes), several pipe nipples (another $5) and the drain line ($20 at Lowes). I don't begrudge them marking up parts but 4X my cost at retail seems high to me.

We recently had new counter tops and a sink installed. We called for a quote to reconnect the sink and when the plumber arrived, he quotes us $800 and said there were a lot of problems with the existing plumbing. Said it would take 3-4 hrs to fix. Fortunately we had the sense to call another plumber. He quoted us $175 and completed the work in 40 minutes. It works perfectly.
