Nathan was really professional, helpful, and his work was exceptional when we hired him. Not only did he know what he was talking about because he's a "Responsible Master Plumber" with his own shop but also explained everything in detail when repairing our plumbing in the kitchen.

The best part was that he came with all the required parts and resolved our plumbing issues on the spot! Not only would I use Nathan's plumbing again but I would also recommend others using him because he's the real deal.

When he was fixing our plumbing issues, he went the extra mile and cleaned up everything, including rust, etc...before installing the new parts to ensure that quality work is being done! You could see the pride that he takes in his business and his high-quality work is the proof in the pudding!

I would definitely use Nathan's plumbing again in the future and I would recommend anyone looking for a stand-up plumber to give him a call - he'll take care of the rest!!!

Nathan is great. We've used him for many years at various locations around Austin. He is always responsive and reliable. He's usually able to diagnose the issue over the phone and schedule an appointment either that day or the next day to come and fix it. He works quickly and provides accurate advice. I don't call any other plumbers, only Nathan. Highly recommended.

A stand up guy and proud business owner, Nathan handles even the smallest jobs with the utmost professionalism.
I was referred to him by another who only works south of 620, and I'm very glad for that. I hired Nathan to hook up a natural gas grill on my patio. I got quotes from 3 different plumbers, and Nathan's was the next to lowest, but he was real responsive over email which gave me a good feeling, so I went with him. As it turned out, he had to cancel on the day we had scheduled due to an emergency situation at another job ($&*% happens, as you can read in other reviews...), but he came by the next day, got the job done quickly and gave me a very fair discount. Very friendly.

I had an encounter with Nathan's plumbing this morning, only I did not call on him to help me with a plumbing issue. I just wanted the general public to know that Nathan is a very dishonest man that lacks empathy, and shows no respect to people around him! I shudder to think how he handles his clients, or if they even know the kind of person they are dealing with!

This morning shortly after 9:00am, I was following my husband down Grand Avenue Pkwy, towards Ih35, so that we could both stop at the gas station on the right side of Grand. I was driving directly behind my husband who was in a Kia Forte, and there was about two cars lengths distance between us. There was no road that could be turned into on the right of me, there was only the curb, so it makes no sense to me that Nathan did this, but all of a sudden a white business truck with Nathan's plumbing printed on it, and his phone number, zoomed past me at a dangerous speed, and sharply turned right, into the space between my husband and I, cutting me off, and causing me to break hard to avoid an accident. Nathan's company truck then sped forward so fast, that he ALMOST ran into the back of my husband's Kia forte. To avoid hitting my husband, he braked hard then swerved left into the left lane, (No blinker) cutting off the poor woman that drove up along side me. He then sped like a bat out of hell down Grand until he was out of sight.

I almost witnessed two accidents this morning because of him! He almost hit my husband, and he almost caused the woman he cut off in the left lane to hit him. Not to mention that when he cut me off I had to break to avoid hitting him. My husband was almost struck, but in my pick up, I had my son who is 4 and his friend who is three years old in the back seat. Just to make it clear, Grand Avenue is also a road with a massive school zone in it. Though the lights for the school zone were no longer blinking, that is an area to be especially cautious.

Out of concern for other drivers on the road, I made a mental note of Nathan's phone number that was on the back of his truck. I then pulled into the gas station, and called his number. At first I got his voicemail, which sounded like he has a small personal business, because his recording had a woman's voice on it, (possibly his wife) and dogs barking in the background. I left a detailed message that his business truck was driving very wrecklessly on Grand Avenue, and that he almost caused an accident, and I mentioned being concerned, and upset, because he almost rear ended my husband. I asked that he be more considerate to the safety of others when he is on the road, and after that I hung up.

Only a minute later, Nathan's plumbing, calls me back, and apparently had not yet heard my voicemail. So I asked him..."Sir....were you just on Grand Avenue Pkwy a minute ago?"

He knew he had just driven wrecklessly there, so he responded by saying, "I'm not sure." I thought what? This man doesn't even know where he is driving? The truth is, he didn't want to fess up that it was him!! He then asked why I wanted to know. Note that his demeanor was not friendly! I told him that I saw him driving wrecklessly, and that he cut me off, and almost rear ended my husband who was driving a Kia forte. I said that he almost cause a serious accident, and I wanted him to be more considerate and careful of other drivers!

He sarcastically gave a half laugh, and said "Well, what's the problem? Did I hit anybody?" I could hear the lack of empathy in his voice, and can honestly say that he was just plain rude and uncaring. Then I went on to tell him that he doesn't have to hit someone, to be considered a wreckless driver. I also said that if he continued to drive like that he would eventually hit someone, or kill someone, and then he cut me off from finishing my sentence, and he said..."Well I said I was sorry, so what do you want?" I corrected him, and told him that he never apologized to me at all, and I reminded him that he rudely responded to me by using sarcasm, and asking me if he hit someone. He started getting louder with me, and being defensive, so I just told him that he is lucky I did not call the police and report him, because the way he was driving, for all I knew he could have been drunk behind the wheel. I said the only reason I did not call the police was because he did not hit anyone, thank goodness! I ended the call by telling him that I hope he understands that he needs to be far more cautious on the road.

If a cop had seen him driving like that, they would have ticketed him!! Grand Avenue Parkway is a windy road, and no place to drive so irresponsibly. I know that he might have some good reviews as a plumber, but I read a couple of reviews that described him exactly as he was toward me. One person said he lacked empathy, and one man said Nathan treated his wife like she was stupid! This man should behave professionally, both on the job and on the road! I will never hire him!

I highly recommend Nathan's Plumbing! I am a Realtor/Real Estate Investor and have worked with Nathan's Plumbing for many years now. The day of closing, the buyers did a final walk through and discovered a leak in the water heater. I called Nathan's Plumbing. They immediately went out, took care of the problem and we closed that day. I have rental properties and have needed plumbers on many occasions. Nathan's Plumbing has always provided excellent service. I recently called regarding one of my rental properties as I had water leaking from the foundation. Nathan's Plumbing went out and discovered that when I had siding replaced, the contractor put a nail through the water line. Nathan's Plumbing to the rescue!

Last year, I was sent to Nathan and his team from another recommended plumber. I was having trouble with hot water in a rental property, and figured the water heater was on its way out. Nathan talked me through the process, and sent his assistant to identify the problem. Since we already determined the problem was most likely the heater, they had one in the truck, ready to install. The job took some extra work to get right, but the quoted price remained. I was still having issues with hot water in one of the bathrooms, so Nathan came out and corrected the issue (a safeguard device on the faucet), with no extra charge.

Recently, I discovered a substantial pipe leak within the foundation of another property (25000 gallons in a month). Given my good experience the first go-round, I called Nathan again, and he came out and confirmed the leak. He and his team had the leak fixed within a day. Nathan walked me through the insurance process, and helped with proper billing. A week later another foundation leak popped up in the same house and again, Nathan's prompt response and attention got the job done.

As a property owner and landlord, I can say that straight-forward, honest workmanship is greatly appreciated, and I have received that from Nathan and team.

It was a normal morning, with a twinge of excitement in the air. Recent days were filled by nesting, organizing new baby girl clothes, and painting furniture in pinks and purples. The house was clean, almost sparkling, and ready for the arrival of a tiny baby girl (and well-wishing visitors).

Then came the sewage.

I had no idea the chaos that a clogged main sewer line could cause, but there it was, flooding forth from our downstair powder room. It was the stuff of nightmares, a roiling, foul sea of despair, threatening to ruin floors, baseboards, and anything else in its path.

To say I was freaking out would be an understatement. Frantic, futile passes with my tiny two-gallon shop-vac were punctuated with helpless outbursts of profanity. I was literally up to my ankles in sewage. This was a dark morning, with no hope in sight.

I called our normal plumber, Nathan. He's installed toilets and sinks and unstuck a disposal for us. He adjusted his schedule and had his crew at my house within 30 minutes.

They went to work auguring out the main line while I struggled to clean up the flood. The guys got out their shop vac and helped me in my struggle with the water.

After a couple of hours, the blockage was finally gone. Miraculously, the filthy waste water was largely gone, as well. I had a lot more cleaning left to do, but the crisis had passed. A hopeless and vile morning could now be handled with a mop, pinesol, and elbow grease.

Nathan's has grown, and you may not get him to directly come address your problem. I don't know for sure if the pricing is greater or less, but my last couple of bills have been reasonable and fair.

And, when I had sewage lapping at my ankles, they got out there fast and helped save my bacon. Highly recommended.

I've called on Nathan for years. He is very responsive and does good work. However, lately his helper is now also licensed so his rates have gone up high. His last job for me didn't include a quote upfront. After so many calls over the years with fair outcomes, I trusted him. Consequently, I was shocked at the bill. It was over twice what I had budgeted. Note to self, Better get an upfront quote!

We had a home inspection and needed a shower and hot water heater fixed. Since the sale of our home is dependent on these repairs, I looked for a master plumber to take care of the problem. I called Nathan. He just happened to be near my house and was on site in 10 minutes. He talked me through the process and didn't inflate the bill. We would definitely recommend Nathan. He was organized and definitely knows the repair-side of plumbing. Thanks.
