On Christmas Eve my Water Heater went out and called Nate's Plumber via referral. I was frantic! Horrible timing! I left a voicemail and got an immediate call back from Nate. He helped my son do a temporary fix. He had a new water heater in stock and replaced it 1st thing December 26th..quick and easy with great customer service. Couldn't ask for more!!..Thank you Nate's Plumbing!. Recommend 100%

UPDATE: We had a good experience with Nate's plumbing in 2021. However, we recently hired Nate and his crew for some jobs around our home and were met with loads of damage to our home and faulty plumbing. We had to hire multiple contractors, subcontractors and handymen to help correct issues left by Nate (the owner), and his crew. We tried to be fair and work with him on repairs and issues that arose and were constantly met with arguments and dismissal of our concern. One example is after paying to have drywall repaired for the 3rd time in one location Nate responded to me, ""Drywall is cheap, quit complaining."" When he poked a hole through the wall to the exterior of our home he tried to repair it by putting liquid nails in its place. He disconnected our grounding wire on an open and exposed wall and didn't tell us. It was sad to see the quality of work that has been put out by this business owner. He set the tub drain incorrectly and water leaked under the tub and all over the floor. By this point, we decided to hire another plumbing contractor to come and fix it. The new contractor had to cut a hole in our stucco since the tile was complete. While opening the wall, 3 leaks were found in that water line alone and the tub and drip lines have been a problem for months.

The flooring was warping in my bathroom so I was sure that I had a leak from my toilet. I contacted these guys to come and diagnose the problem and give a quote. I had an appointment at 10-11. At 11 they still hadn't shown up. I contacted their office and she told me that they were running a bit behind, but that he will contact me to let me know his ETA. At 12:30 I contacted their office again and she told me that he was just finishing up at their last job and will be coming to my place next and that he will contact me as soon as they are on the way. At 1:30, they still hadn't shown up, so I again contacted their office to the same result. They never contacted me to let me know they were on the way until they were 5 minutes out. They arrived at ~2:20 pm, 4 hours after they were scheduled to arrive. I understand that they are working at the whims of the job and can't 100% predict when they will be free, but I expect there to be some level of communication to notify me that they are going to be late. I had errands that I was going to run after they left, but I was stuck at home waiting for them for those 4 hours. Once they arrived, they didn't apologize, they informed me that their last job was crazy, but that was it. I wouldn't mind the fact that they were late, if they had informed me and kept me in the loop on when they would arrive. However, I was the one constantly reaching out asking about progress and estimated arrival time which kept getting pushed back.
They also tried to swindle me. After they arrived, 4 hours late, I informed them of the situation, and they worked to quickly diagnose the issue. They went under my house (mobile home) and came back and told me that the toilet, and just the toilet, is leaking and has warp and rotted the subfloor. They told me that they can replace the toilet and the leaks for $1000(!), but I would need to have someone come in to replace the subfloor and flooring. I also would need to supple the toilet. I said thank you and they left after about 15 minutes after they arrived. I got the estimate for the toilet replacement, which I declined as it was way more than I wanted to spend for a simple toilet replacement. They then sent an invoice for a $150 diagnostic fee. $150 for about 15 minutes of work. I got a second opinion (free) and they told me that not only was the toilet leaking, but the shower was also leaking and that it would need to be pulled out and replaced as well. They quoted $750 to replace the toilet (again supplied by me), the leaks, the subfloor, and the flooring (also supplied by me). Significantly less that the $1000 to only replace the toilet.
From the other reviews, Nate's is probably good for emergency repairs, but if you need someone to do scheduled work, I would look elsewhere.

After many calls to find someone who could come out and start up our home heater, and not finding anyone who could come before next week, I found Nate's online, and they had a repairman here within 2 hours of my call. Very professional from the receptionist, to the repairman. I am happy to give 5 stars to Nate's!

Working with Nate was so easy! He is efficient and kind and we were so grateful he came to help same day!
He was able to quickly find the problem and offer a few solutions.
Would recommend to all of my local friends and family!

A pipe under our house busted. We called Nate's Plumbing, and they had Barry come out that same day. He was able to find the leak quickly and then scheduled to come back first thing the next day. He and his team worked quickly, and they were very kind and had awesome communication!
Thank you so much!

Quick response and efficient service by nice people. Their prices are reasonable also

After Nate's plumbing charged me $195 to mis diagnose (not fix) a 35 year old wall heater and recommending a full replacement, at the tune of over $4,000.00, I contacted a recommended different licensed contractor for a second opinion and diagnosis.
In short, the unit needed a new part (Sparking mechanism that was melted) . So, in short, instead of being out over $4200.00 it was fixed for $500.00.
I wish that Nate's Plumbing and HIVAC would have given me a choice to repair or replace.
I'm a retired Gen. contractor.. and was treated as if I didn't matter and knew nothing. He publicly called me a 'Slumlord'.. I own one rental property....when I brought this to his (Nate) attention, Nate bad mouthed me in response to my previous review.
His office staff was very nice.
I wish they would have made it right.

My original review was for A/c minisplit installation completed by Richard. Richard absolutely still deserves 5/5 stars (although i don't believe he works for this company any longer) but after dealing directly with the business owner Nate and having plumbing work done on a different issues over the last year- I feel obligated to change my review.. Here are the main reasons:
1. Pricing. I was misquoted the cost of a part (more info below if you are intersted). On another occasion I was quoted $1594.22 for a leaking pipe (the same pipe the company had ""repaired"" a few months before). I had a different company come out and they were able to complete the repair the same day for under $300 in less than 1 hour.
2. Dishonesty. This is tied into the repair costs and quotes. Also, they reported they had to cut through the exterior of my home to access pipe (there was actually an access panel inside that perhaps they didn't notice). They also told me they could come out to assess a second leak the day after I awoke with them (due to a holiday) but never contacted me.
3. Caused unnescessary damage directly to my home (over $500 in repairs) and further water damage because their pipe 'repair' didn't hold (approximately $5000 in damages). After speaking with a friend who used Nate's, I found out we actually got lucky- they had a failed repair that cost them over $10,000 due to water damage.
I have emailed Nate about my concerns a few months ago, to give him a chance to explain some of these issues, but have not heard back. He seems like a very nice man and was generally prompt at returning calls and had great customer service- until I voiced a problem and have not heard back. The lack of response has prompted me to post this review. I wrote more details of my experience below- if anyone is intersted.
Initially I needed a pressure regulator replaced due to a leak at the connection. Nates team told me they would have to get the part at Ferguson as it was a specialty item and not sold at home depot or Lowes. Cost on this part was $300-$350 and he would need to get it at Ferguson. Final cost of repair was about $500. I was not upset about this cost overall, but rather several aspects of the repair itself and the honesty of the company. Out of curiousity I looked up the part (directly from the number printed on the installed peice and found it was actually less than $150 and stocked regularly at Lowes and Ferguson. I understand markup- but over double? and why lie about it being specialty item? By far the most frustrating and confusing part of the work done by Nates team on this repair was damage they caused to my home. I was told by the plumber that to access the pipe he would have to cut through the house's exterior wall because the pressure regulator and leak were in the wall. In fact, he cut through the exterior wall, removed insulation, and then cut the interior drywall past the border of an INTERIOR ACCESS BOX which was made specifically to access the regulator. Apparently they did not investigate that prior to cutting through my home. He left a huge unnecessary hole all the way through the side of my house causing a big inconvenience and expense to repair internal drywall, replace insulation, and repair the external wall, as well an aesthetically negative impact on the exterior of the house. I am so confused as to why he did not simply access the damaged pipe and regulator though the access box inside the house, which is what the company did for this latest repair (after Nates repair failed)
The company I used to fix Nates work was equally confused about why they would ever have needed external access.
I won't get too much more into the high quote they gave me on the repeat repair ($1594.22) because I obviously chose another company. I will say he said he would send someone out the next day and never did- rather he waited until the late afternoon the following day to send me the high quote with no note or explanation. Annoying, because I would have called another plumber sooner, had I not expected them to show up. When I asked more about the breakdown on the cost of the quote he said ""materials $194.22, Labor $1400"". The actual fix from another company was under $300 including an emergency fee with under $40 in materials. Repair took less than 1 hour. Interesting, but I learned my lesson to never use Nates.

Do not trust this business!!!! Nate's Plumbing got their snake stuck in our shower drain. Cut it off with a metal grinder and left it in our drain without telling us. We found the snake a month later. We are renters so we were expecting a bill to pass along to our landlords. Never received a bill until one year and two months later. We contacted them regarding the bill and the snake that we found in our drain and that we were uncomfortable paying the bill. The nice lady who answers their phones said she'd pass the message along and they would give us a call. A few days pass and they never called us. But they CAME TO OUR HOUSE! I don't know if it was the owner, but he knocked on my front door at 6:00pm ready to confront me. Which is extremely unprofessional. He said he does this all the time. So be warned neighbors! They are clearly looking to collect their money for their ripoff services.
