We got a toilet removed and a new one installed, we had Doug bring the new toilet he recommended and it works perfectly. Quick communication, explained everything he was doing, very pleasant to work with.

Good communication, fair price, on time, good service. What else do you need? And now we have a new toilet. Recommended!

The last trick we could think of to get hot water out of our shower failed. It was cold, cold, COLD water or nothing. Neither of those options were good. I knew what the problem was but wasn't very confident in my ability to fix it. I like the extensive use of shut off valves in commercial plumbing. Residential plumbing is a disaster waiting to happen when I start banging around with wrenches and the like.
Having had trouble getting contractors interested in small jobs (don't get us started on the work we had done on the porch) I turned to Yelp and started pinging plumbers.
I got good responses but Doug was the only one who asked for my email address to send a quote. He had a few questions I had to find the answers for. It took a few days of messaging to get the quote and make the appointment. On a Saturday morning. On. A. Saturday. Morning.
When Doug arrived he wanted to explore. He spent some time prowling in the basement, checking out pipes and seeing what was what. I appreciated that time taken on a pretty small job. He warned us that while it was probably a simple fix the possibility existed it could be something larger. Then he fixed the shower. Bang. Done. He also cleaned up the faucet and fixed the handle that had been falling off for as long as I've lived in this house.
Then he charged us what he quoted. I felt it was a fair price and not a bad haul for a small job on the way to a larger one.
We've got a dodgy kitchen sink that's already killed several weekends for me. That's gonna go soon and we'll call Nash Plumbing again when it's time.

installed a pressure assist toilet & shut off valves to 2 br, valves without need for a washer.
arrived on time & price was reasonable.
would use him again, work done dec 2018

I hired Doug a few months ago at one of my duplexes. He did a great job (per my tenants), and I paid my $800+ invoice instantly upon completion. Fast forward to yesterday when I reached out to him with another issue. He said he would need a $40 credit card payment before coming to check out the issue. I inquired why there's now an estimate fee, and he texted back stating he spent a lot of time at my property giving me an estimate, and never heard back from me. Despite the fact he's clearly confusing me with a different party, I'm unable to re-hire Doug due to his lack of professionalism. After I questioned the fee, he said, ""Please lose my number, as I don't want to help you."" I'm not sure how someone could operate a successful business when one unnecessarily burns bridges with previously satisfied clients. I can not recommend him to friends or family in the future.

Doug came and installed a new water heater down in our basement last month and did a great job! He and his assistant were very thorough, professional and pleasant to work with. Our old water heater finally bit the big one after 20 years and Doug was fast to respond and fit us in quickly. You can only go so long without hot water.. so I'm really glad I got in touch with him. Plus, we're in the same neighborhood which is also great! I will definitely use Nash Plumbing again for any other plumbing issues that come up. He knows his stuff!

Doug came out to fix an old leaking pipe I had. Over Thanksgiving, he was the most responsive plumber and gave me an estimate right away. Thank you so much for coming out.

Doug is super professional and was able to explain everything to me in a way that I understood. I know nothing about plumbing and he made me feel comfortable that I knew what was going on. He was able to fix my leaks within a hour and he sent multiple before and after pictures with the invoice to show what he was doing. I will definitely be using him again

I left 4 messages for plumbers around town. Nash Plumbing was the first to get back to me and he was able to come out same day! Kind of unheard of right now. He was friendly and did great work. We needed to replace a faucet and some other yada yada related to the laundry sink and a leaking (and very ancient) shut off valve to the washer. It appears to me he used quality materials and he cleaned up. I was not home but my husband and mother were and they sang his praises when I got home. Will totally call him again.

Doug just left our home after fixing our very leaky kitchen sink that needed several new parts, and I'll be recommending him to anyone looking for a plumber.
He responded very quickly to a request for an estimate, saw some pictures of the problem that I sent via text, provided an estimate and was over to the house about an hour later. He fixed the problem quickly and gave us a very fair price. He also just seems like a very nice person, and I think it's important to recognize that.
We'll absolutely be using Doug for any plumbing needs we have in the future.
