Narberth Plumbing and Heating has not been in Narberth for 33 years and continues to use our address. I believe the company is in either Conshohocken or Norristown. I don't know what kind of work they do but the owner stiffed us for their last month's rental of our garage for all of $25, which we offered as a kindness after giving him about a year's notice that we would need the garage. The owner, in my opinion, is not the most honest person around.

Needed replacement of a leaking main water line shut-off valve. Made a phone appointment for a specific date/time. Vince showed up on time and I also threw onto his list a request for installing a water pressure reducing valve. He assessed the situation, provided a rough estimate and detailed the work and cost breakdown. Upon work start, he noted another small leak in an old coupling to the water valve. He applied no pressure to perform the additional repair. Having an older home, I was not surprised and asked him to proceed. Vince performed all the work diligently and efficiently - he does not waste time or lumber along. Resultant work was of high quality and all was left clean. Vince is very personable, professional and clearly identifies what detailed work and parts are necessary. Excellent - Narberth Plumbing & Heating are highly recommended.

We've dealt with countless contractors/tradespeople in the area over the past few years, as we purchased an older home with (tons of!) deferred maintenance issues. Also, I am very particular (#OCD) and come from a family of builders/contractors. So I write here, with absolute confidence, that Vince is probably the best plumber you could EVER work with. He is HONEST, thorough, clean, punctual, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with. His work ethic is amazing. We discovered Vince through a friend/colleague, and we are so fortunate he was able to help solve all of our plumbing issues (and it was a long list!). Vince was very careful to note what issues he felt warranted attention and what concerns/issues were perhaps less pressing (or non-issues). He never tried to ""sell"" us on work that was not necessary or recommended. Cannot recommend Narberth Plumbing enough!!!!!

We've had Vin out to help with several different issues in our home. He's always been very responsive, on time, and does the job right the first time. He doesn't mind explaining what he's doing, which is a nice change from other service people I've encountered in the past. Very trustworthy! I would recommend him to all my family and friends.

I am reposting my review on Yelp as Vince just did some plumbing work for me and, for the great job he did, other people need to know that Vince is a role-model plumber and tradesman. All tradesman can learn from him. I needed a garbage disposal installed and a toilet repair. He called me back the same day. He worked with me to schedule the appointment (I was lucky he could come the next day). He was professional, he showed up on time and he was prepared. He had all his tools, equipment and drop cloth. He is very knowledgeable and patiently answered my questions. He not only was thorough in his work, he was also very neat and clean in the process! Vince does quality work and he is a quality human being. If I could, I'd give him 6 stars. I'm hoping other trades people see this and take Vince's lead.

I had just totally redone my guest bathroom for a significant amount with high-end features. After a few days, we noticed that the toilet was not flushing properly and water was spouting from the shower drain. I called Narberth plumbing because I had used Joe Carr for 25 years, and he was quick, fair and experienced. It seems Joe had retired and when I called Narberth Plubbing, the new owner, Vince, came over. He removed the toilet and informed me that he would need to take out several feet of my new white marble flooring and a large part a very expensive Spanish wall tile. He estimated a cost of $2,000 to $3,000 plus the needed repairs. I called my renovator and he told me to call Zoom plumbing and have my house drains blown out. I did that, and everything works just fine.

Nothing worse than a crooked or incompetent tradesman. This is not the plumber that it used to be when Joe Carr was doing the work.
