John Nakagaki (owner) is such a great guy! This is my second time using his business for water heater issues. In 2010 he did a minor repair (replaced a thermo coupler) and he went above and beyond my expectations back then. So thoughtful and willing to explain a lot (including how to do things myself to extend the life of my water heater). Never felt like any type of up-sell of services. Fast forward 8 years to last week and I discovered my water heater sprung a leak. Panic of course sets in. I've seen plenty of videos of burst water heater tanks. Yikes! I called his business line on Sunday afternoon expecting to get an answering machine or service but even though he was closed, John answered the phone himself. He listened to the issue, gave me some comfort that I had a little bit of time based on the description of my leak. Gave me a quote for a new replacement water heater (Rheem 50 gallons). His quote was fair and given my past experience with him I asked him how soon could he come without the need to call around for competitive quotes. He said he was busy but would come at the end of the business day Tuesday to ensure my job got taken care of quickly. He sets up his appointments via email and text notifications which is pretty cool. I even got a text message when he was about to arrive at my house to let me know. He was right on time and worked well past dinner time to get the job done. His helper, Alex, was pleasant and the work was very professional. Stuck to his quote he gave me and I couldn't have been more satisfied. If you need a plumber Nak for Plumbing is the way to go. Reliable, honest and reasonably priced. Thank you John!

Called them to replace a bad valve in my shower, which had already been diagnosed as bad. Technician comes, without a valve, looks at shower and tells me my valve is bad. So, he then tells ME to go buy a valve, which he will come back and install. Is there more than one kind of valve? If not, why does he not have one. If yes, how do I know what to buy? Can't imagine him being any less helpful. Paid for a worthless service call and certainly did not call them back.

Working with Keiko and John was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. i have back issues and needed a toilet installed. I asked for a few quotes on yelp and they were the first ones to get back to me. They had specific questions about my situation and quoted rates. They also worked with me scheduling a time that worked for me. John was really great when he arrived. The work was completed promptly and the price was reasonable. My toilet backed up into my shower and garage sink. John came as soon as he finished his current appointment and cleared the main drain stoppage. He took time to assess the issue because my main drain actually runs to the back of the house instead of to the street! Not sure why San Ramon ran it that way. Because of this, we were unsure of what would happen and he warned me it may not clear because of the distance (over 100 ft) to the end. I appreciate his honesty. Thank goodness it cleared.

Nak is great. No nonsense and very reasonably priced. They responded super quickly to my inquiry through Yelp which was really impressive. I had him help us check an existing natural gas line on our deck (we recently bought our place) and hook it up to our new bbq. He was quick and did a great job. He had a great positive attitude which I always appreciate. I'd use him again for any plumbing needs!

John did an awesome job quickly fixing a leak in my master bathroom drain pipe that a previous plumbing company (connected to a home warranty company) had been a horrendous pain in getting fixed. Very satisfied. I called Nak to fix a leak, install a new Kitchen faucet, and install a new water line outside. John came out and gave me good advice on what should be done. He even identified an area where I had cast iron pipe touching copper ( a no no). He fixed all of it. He was spot on with his time estimates, and did a very clean and professional job. Part of the job required that he go in to the crawl space under the house, while under there he identified possible termite damage and took a photograph for my review. This was above and beyond, and something I very much appreciated. I would highly recommend them and will call them again when I have a plumbing need.
