I was so hopeful to find a consistent, reliable handyman company, however working with this company was a terrible experience. Half of the jobs they completed in my home were done poorly, they damaged my wood floor, and the kickplate I asked the technician to attach on my dishwasher went missing entirely. The customer service rep was less than helpful and stated that we are ""at an impass"" on the missing part for my dishwasher. I spent over $750 for poor quality work and rude customer service. I wish I read reviews first and hope this saves someone the headache!!

The worse company ever. The worker showed up two hour late and at the wrong house! To address a simple roof leak, he finished in 3.5 hours, and refused to work the full 4 hrs paid for stating, "" you are at your 4 hr limit"".
The roof leaked again one week later. When I called to address the issue, they stated they had guarantee. However, when I called back the case was always,""under review"". When they finally did email me after repeated emails to them, they stated they would send another person after I gave another $399 fee to send them. They stated if the first person ""missed"" or was otherwise less thorough withthe repair, this would be considered a ""new service"". What happened to the guarantee. This company is a joke. My advise would be to finda company with integrity to give your money to and stay away from Nail It Handyman services. If I could give a Zero, I would!

I had nail it handyman from Rochelle Park come to fix a leak in my roof. A couple of weeks later it rained and the ceiling was still leaking. They came out again and actually fixed the right spot this time and charged me again! Also you will have to pay by the hour while they disappear to go to the store for supplies that you would think they should have on their truck. Had to pay for a hose so he could spray water on my roof, and then he never used it. The woman in the office was extremely rude to me as well.

This is such an incredibly unprofessional business. I will never...ever...use this service again and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USE THIS COMPANY. They were scheduled to install a bathroom vanity, replace existing marble thresholds and re-grout the tub in that same bathroom. The ""technician"" they sent did not know how to do the work. My husband removed the marble thresholds, the technician removed our old vanity and did not know how to install the new one, never touched the grout on the tub and said he would send someone else out the next day. That is a scam to charge the customer more money and they did, over $1,000 for no work performed. We are taking them to Small Claims Court, they are horrible, they keep charging my credit card so I closed it, opened up a dispute with Discover so eventually they will not get their money for NOTHING! Unbelievably unprofessional and they lie. Stay away folks!

If I could give less than one star I would, they sent a totally inexperienced carpenter to do an attic stair installation. He destroyed my ceiling and damaged the floor joists in the attic. He didn't have any tools, used a hand saw to try and cut things and left a mess. I called and emailed and got nowhere. I was told it was a two man job, but they sent one! I was told it would take another day but I wasn't paying again. I already paid them $900. I tried to get my money back and they ignored my emails and calls. I filed a complaint with NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs and they ignored them. I am planning on suing them in Small Claims Court. They are extraordinarily unprofessional and should not be in business.

I inquired about a quote many many months ago and have received continuous blocked caller ID calls that go to my VM immediately with a generic pre-recorded message about calling them if I have any handyman needs. I cannot block them since it's a blocked caller ID so it's impossible to opt out of their spam. Very unethical, unprofessional, and just a downright nuisance to deal with. Avoid at all costs!

Contacted this company and they requiered a 4 hr slot without even looking to see what needed to be done. In trying to explain that I needed a quick fix and it won't require a 4 hr period they wouldn't elaborate on why they needed for 4 hrs. And from talking to other people who used them they come out and disappear to justify the fours and charge you. I will not recommend this company and I highly discourage anyone from using this company.

I will never...ever...use this service again and would not recommend that anyone use it. To begin with, they are overpriced. Second, the person who arrived at my house REEKED of marijuana. The scent filled the house. The worker even admitted it. And he complained about the job the whole time. If I had not been in a last-minute situation, I would have asked him to leave. But against my better judgment, I did not. The job got done--not without errors and a couple of additional holes in my walls. Thankfully, they are covered by pictures. But never again. I do not recommend that anyone risk using this service.

We tried to use to install a door. They came an hour late, got full payment and never did the job.
Gave us a credit that has to be used, refused to refund us. Horrible company to deal with and customer service is horrible.
