logo N&A Property Services LLC We heard back from the proprietor, Nick Shaw, after posting our need for a licensed plumber to repair a clogged drain/inoperative garbage disposal on Tuesday (11/22) last week. He showed up on Wednesday to address the situation. He was here for about an hour, and claimed to have fixed it by snaking it out for us. We discussed other possible projects we have in our whole house renovation, and I thought all was well. NOPE! Later that evening, we tried using the sink and it not only did not drain properly, there was a 'new' leak below the sink where he had uncoupled the drain from the garbage disposal. So now we not only cannot use the garbage disposal, we cannot use the sink at all, even if we just need to rinse off the slightest of residue on our dishes. Forget about using the garbage disposal. So we texted him late Wednesday and his response was one of being very apologetic and insisted he'd be back ASAP to fix the situation. We knew it was Thanksgiving, and didn't really expect him to come that day, despite his having told me he was working on other projects that day (making hay while the sun shines, I thought). But then Friday, Saturday, and Sunday came and went, and after several more (polite) texts to Nick, still no response. He's ghosted us. So, we're out the $250. The owner, Nick, is NOT responding to our text messages. I have no other recourse, since I checked my banking statement online and the check has already cleared. All I have is this (unfortunate) means of alerting others that they might find themselves in a similar situation if they contract with N&A Property Services to do whatever work they might need accomplished. I have to say that having spoken to Nick at length, after he'd 'fixed' the drain, I NEVER in a million years suspected we'd get GHOSTED by him. He's polite, well-spoken, seemingly proficient at what he does. But how many days of NO RESPONSE and NO SHOW at our home do we need to sit by idly and wait? I only know that we certainly did NOT get what we paid for. We are NOT pleased that his business model doesn't contain any 'SATISFACTION GUARANTEED' warranties. We're essentially out $250 for a job NOT DONE. I'd give this guy a miss if I had it to do all over again. I really hate being taken advantage of...I much prefer leaving a positive review for a job well done. I was referred to N&A Property Services by a friend of mine. They stated they were very competitively priced, great quality and timely completion. I called N&A Property Services and was pleasantly surprised when they said they would be there the next day and I would be meeting with Nicholas, the owner of the company. We did the walk through, talked about what we were looking for and what was realistic for our budget and as we were talking Nicholas recommended that one of our upgrades be a Water Cop. A device that will shut down the water to your house if a leak or a rupture is detected. After hearing about the Water Cop we decided it was a good idea and scheduled the installation. Needless to say it was a good thing because our water heater decided it had had enough and ruptured. The Water Cop shut it down and all water was shut off to our house saving us thousands of dollars already spent on wallpaper and flooring. Thank you N&A Property Services for recommending it and thanks for finishing everything up last week! You did an amazing job and we are very happy with all the work and service provided.
