I called them as they were about to close about a leaking radiator with steam coming out in my daughter's bedroom. They were able to send a couple of people over within 1/2 hour or less, and they fixed it within an hour. They then sent me a bill which reflected what we discussed beforehand, so all in all, a great experience working with them. I'll most certainly call them again if needed.

Broken fill valve on my older boiler broke creating quite a mess - at 11pm of course! Turned off the water main and called McCann. Plumber arrived first thing in the morning but of course the pipe broke when trying to change the valve. One thing after another including a new pilot light thingy and troubleshooting the water heater and we are back in business. Took all day! The plumbers worked without lunch to complete the job, including the boss. A great group of guys collaborating together. And very clean as well. Thanks McCann.

Horrible service, no knowledge on how to properly repair a Flushmate leaking toilet but charged me $150 and my toilet still leaks. Now when I call, I am being ignored when I was promised a return call. Don't use this company, as they don't stand by their work. Extremely unsatisfied with their cus service, or the lack of it.

I would highly Recommend N J McCann Plumbing for Several Reasons first and Foremost they showed up on time they were neat,clean and respectful of my Home!! The job was done perfectly as promised and done in half the estimated time and in no way did this cost them to cut any corners on the top level plumbing they provided me. Betty does a Great Job running the office she is professional courteous and polite. N J McCann replaced my water heater about 5-7 years ago (it actually was a group buy for my condo).

Since that time the hot water line has developed a greenish-white coating which has gotten progressively worse over time. It finally got so bad (see attached photo) that I called McCann to come down and take a look and correct whatever installation issue caused the problem in the first place.

The people McCann sent told me in no uncertain terms that this coating was perfectly acceptable when they do an installation and that I had no cause to complain unless leaks developed. Took all of 10 minutes to dismiss the problem.

McCann then sent me a bill for about $150.

I don't object to paying for services, I DO object to paying for a problem that the vendor, by their own admission, caused.

I used this company for two different problems in my house in Queens about 3-4 years ago. The work was done well, on-time, and the price was decent.

For another house, I requested an in-home estimate for a pretty large heating job, which consisted of either possible oil-to-gas conversion or just a replacement of the existing oil-powered steam boiler, along with conversion to hot water baseboard from steam.

The owner of the company dropped off the face of the earth after several phone conversations. It was only after I called from a different number that he decided to answer my call.

If he didn't want or couldn't handle that size job, it would've been much more professional to let me know while he was there, instead of dragging it out with excuses.
