Greetings, I’m Ryan Matthews.
I have dedicated 17 years to the plumbing field.
I began my career in new construction before the 2008 recession.
I primarily worked on residential homes but also handled plumbing for schools, car dealerships, and various commercial projects.
After about seven years, I transitioned to residential service.
This is where I discovered my true passion.
I learned that I enjoyed solving plumbing issues for people, and I excelled at it.
I made the choice to start my own business, focusing on top-notch customer service.
I eliminated everything I disliked about other plumbing companies.
We prioritize hiring top talent and treating them as I wished to be treated as an employee.
We provide excellent salaries, health benefits, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) plans, gym memberships, vacation pay, sick leave, personal days, and much more.
This is why our team takes exceptional care of our clients.

The quality of the service was good, but giving 2 stars is generous considering the very high cost. I paid $430 for a tankless water heater flush. The unit is 6 years old and easily accessed and easily serviced. They were in and out within 30 minutes. Should not have cost over $300. Will not use them in the future.
We called MyGuy Plumbing for a laundry list of things to repair. Matt C arrived with a smile and pink booties and I knew we were in good hands. After showing their license and insurance, explaining pricing transparency and their service plan, we discussed all of my requests in detail and I showed him around. He then worked up several options so I could select what was best for us. Honestly I was so surprised all the work could be done in a day and he had everything needed in his gloriously vibrant truck. So when he said it was done and took me on a tour of my new faucets and now functioning toilet, I'm almost certain all of Toms River heard me I was pretty giddy. Amazing job. I am thrilled. I will so call MyGuy again and request Matt C. You should too.
Ana T.I am very impressed with the service provided by MyGuy Plumbing. As a woman homeowner I felt overwhelmed when I realized flooding in the basement, leaks in my sewer line and water issues throughout my 80+year old home. Brian gave me a thorough assessment of the issues and different options available for repair and service. I am happy I went with MyGuy after vetting several companies, they were very professional throughout the job. Brian and Carlos addressed and fixed all of the issues indicated in the contract. They worked in an efficient and timely manner and cleaned up wonderfully. I appreciated the real person customer service, scheduling, followup text and notifications from the office. It's refreshing to know that good businesses still exist today, I highly recommend MyGuy Plumbing for your plumbing needs!
Avoid at all costs. Sky high prices. Contracts to sign. High pressure sales tactics. Do yourself a favor and stay clear.
Brian and Matt installed kitchen appliances and a sink in our new kitchen. They were prompt, respectful of our home, professional, friendly and did excellent work. I would recommend them to family and friends.
I have used MyGuy in the past and was pleased with the quality of work that was done. So I called MyGuy again to come and evaluate/repair a leaking shower drain. I was charged a reasonable amount for that service. While there, my wife asked the plumber to look at two of our toilets that we're constantly running. The work was completed and we were charged an exorbitant amount for the repairs. On top of this, I had to repair the toilet when I returned home as the toilet was still not working properly. To say the least I'm not thrilled with your quality of service and questionable business practices. This is how you treat a repeat customer? I will never have call you for service or recommend you to anyone. I also intend to file a complaint with the State Board of Examiners of Master Plumbers and the BBB.
This place is a ripoff i had them come in to fix a faucet then they talk me into getting a yearly contract so we did . well after a day of thing about it we decide to cancel they would not return my money because I signed a contract we could not afford there crazy prices the company is only interested in money they could have given me my money back I am a senior and I feel I got ripped off out of there kindness they could have cancelled the contract and giving me my mony back shame shame on them buyer beware stay away from this company they are not proptofessionals they are it coast me $750.00 dollors . Donna V.Upon arrival, Charlie and Matt professionally and politely introduced themselves and gave me a background of their experience.Prior to assessing the situation, Charlie took time to explain the companies policy and warranties. I had a problem with my bathroom pipes. I was given options. My Guy Plumbing had my care as their first concern. What an honest company. Charlie and Matt worked together to fix the problem the way I choose. No pressure, no sales pitches! They both were great technicians.
Also, Erica from the office answered my calls promptly. She was very efficient. She called when Charlie and Matt left as a follow up to see if i had any questions. It doesn't get better than this! The price was reasonable.
I highly recommend Mr.Guy Plumbing. They will be certainly be my first call if the need arises, Thank You,Mr.Good Guy.
Similar to another review, I was charged $400+ to swap out a kitchen faucet. Prior to booking the job, I asked for a price quote over the phone to which they said wasn't available (??). The two main determinants, from what I understand after a completed job, is whether I provided my own fixture or purchased theirs ($900+!!).
In the end, the swap took two guys 20 minutes. They were professional, but I felt like it was more of a sales pitch - upsell me to their supplied faucet using scare tactics of no warranty on my provided faucet, plus upsell to their service subscription.
In the end, I needed the faucet swapped in that moment and didn't have time to book another plumber and wait a week to find a less expensive option.
In the end, it's my fault for enabling the business to keep charging these rates and using the tactics. But, I feel strongly that there is a better way to conduct business transparently. Will lead to long term customers instead of one and done.
Joe C.Pro: MyGuy Plumbing was very professional, clean, organized and on time. The work they performed so far has been great, no issues. I would recommend their work to others.
Con: I was charged almost $500 to swap out a sink faucet that took about 20 minutes for them to do. They have a book that outlines cost for their service folks, and isn't based on actual job at hand. I'd love to use them again, but I can't afford to bring them back for future jobs at their rates and pricing structure. If the costs are defined, then I wish they had provided a quote over the phone to start showing ballpark figures, with me understanding things could possibly change once they get out there to fully inspect the situation.
Neutral: There is a service fee to come out and that would be applied to the job if you select them on the spot. This is normal though for a lot of folks in my area.
