I was impressed with the other reviews here and believed Mike might be the best person to help solve a plumbing issue due to his knowledge of the area and associated plumbing.

Setting an initial appointment had taken a little effort, as he appears to be pretty much a single person operation and attends to his work first, returning calls when he can.

I am glad I was persistent. Mike was quick to identify solutions to the issues I was having in an older Mission Viejo New Castille home. He gave me a reasonable estimate for the job and set up a time to return and accomplish the work that would match my schedule.

Upon his return, on the day and time we had set, he and his assistant were quick, competent and thorough in replacing a failed (severely cracked) iron in-wall drain line and in clearing a heavily root-clogged section of the drain system further downline.

He had to remove and replace a toilet to get to the clog, but did so cleanly and effectively, providing recommendations to help keep the drain line clear moving forward.

When the job was complete, other than where the wall board had needed to be removed and will be replaced, you could not tell where he had been working. He had protected the work space and cleaned up well upon finishing.

I highly recommend Michael and My Guy plumbing for your plumbing needs.

Had a water main leak in our front yard flooding our walkway, grass, and into the garage. We called MyGuy based on the high yelp reviews. Was not disappointed! Price was fair, they were responsive, and were able to start the work when we needed. They not only took care when digging the trench for repairs, but rerouted the main line through the garage installing a new shutoff valve and pressure valve as our water pressure was too high. Also added a much needed shutoff to the sprinkler system. The showed up right on time as stated, and completed what would normally have taken a full day + worth of work in about 5-6 hours.

They were extremely professional, had great service, took care with our property, and did all the movement of items in our garage to make way for the new line install. When finished they put everything back in place and took care to clean as if they were not even there. Even our neighbors came by to say how impressed they were with the speed and quality of care (lots of plumbing issues on our street- common in south county).

I would 100% recommend them for any plumbing needs, and will absolutely be using them as my go-to should another issues arise. Great to have local businesses with high service and quality standards.

Mike is amazing. Friendly, quiet, fast, and most importantly he knows what he is doing. Hired him for a couple jobs around the house and he always did a fantastic job. It doesn't hurt that his prices are reasonable. Also comes all the way out to your place for a free estimate, which not many plumbers will do these days. Mike is now OUR GUY. Highly recommend Mike to anyone seeking a competent, reliable and friendly plumber!

Mike was great. Showed up when promised and did the job. It was a simple R&R of my 50 gallon water heater, but the closet built around it made it difficult to maneuver the unit in. With some muscle and perseverance, Mike was able to get the unit in and finish the job. Some other ""big name"" companies would have walked away and tell me it was my problem.
