OK, Murphy's Law, ""if anything can go wrong, it will"". I was struggling for a job interview at this COVID-19 crisis moment, while the water pipe connecting meter to my unit main valve got a leak. I pulled out a list of plumbers from my friends' recommendation and called them one by one. Guess what? Though they provided many ""advice"" or ""solutions"", no one could gain my trust enough to start the job. I found MyGuy Plumbing at Yelp. I made the call and it was a prompt reply with free on-site evaluation. The guy showed up was very professional, with all the right tools to diagnose the problem. The solution they provided was sound and considerate of my needs, so I made my decision to use MyGuy.
On the scheduled day, the team arrived on time, again with all the right tools to work on it. I cannot say more good things about my experience. They just knew what they were doing, quick and accurate. I took a few photos of the work site and after-fix. I am very satisfied with MyGuy and would certainly recommend it to my friends. Mike was awesome! He was honest, hardworking, and affordable, which are some of the most important qualities in service providers.

Yesterday, I called MyGuy Plumbing after seeing all of the five star Yelp reviews area and left a voicemail about a water heater issue at a rental house of mine. Mike called back promptly and we discussed him coming out to the home to assess the situation.
Today, Mike arrived on time to the rental property and assessed the water heater issue. He brought the parts on the truck for a repair and said that if needed he could go get the water heater. Mike recommended that I do a repair this time instead of a replacement unit since I could hopefully get three more years out of my current heater and there was no leakage or rust.

I was so happy that he was honest and affordable. I will be using Mike with MyGuy Plumbing for all of my rental houses now!

Second time using My Guy, this time for a slab leak repipe. Quick, professional and courteous. Mike, Jose and crew are great to work with. Did all work with Covid-19 masks on. Put down tarps, moved furniture and taped off with plastic to protect from dust. Completed on time. Cleaned up so thoroughly that carpet looked even better than before. Labeled and saved drywall access cutouts. Swapped out a shower head and fixed a couple sink drains at no extra cost. Highly recommend.

I had a pin hole leak and called Mike Diamond. They did a repair. After the fact i thought about what i was charged and felt ripped off. The quality was not the best either. I had to have the wall dried and through that discover another small leak. a few inches away from Original. To verify my gut and checked Yelp. My Guy came up and i gave him a call. Mike told me a fair estimate over the phone and came out the same day. Fixed the leak and replaced the other plumbers work. Did a great job at a third of the price. My Guy is my new guy to go to and i think you should to if you are in need!!

I was impressed with the other reviews here and believed Mike might be the best person to help solve a plumbing issue due to his knowledge of the area and associated plumbing.

Setting an initial appointment had taken a little effort, as he appears to be pretty much a single person operation and attends to his work first, returning calls when he can.

I am glad I was persistent. Mike was quick to identify solutions to the issues I was having in an older Mission Viejo New Castille home. He gave me a reasonable estimate for the job and set up a time to return and accomplish the work that would match my schedule.

Upon his return, on the day and time we had set, he and his assistant were quick, competent and thorough in replacing a failed (severely cracked) iron in-wall drain line and in clearing a heavily root-clogged section of the drain system further downline.

He had to remove and replace a toilet to get to the clog, but did so cleanly and effectively, providing recommendations to help keep the drain line clear moving forward.

When the job was complete, other than where the wall board had needed to be removed and will be replaced, you could not tell where he had been working. He had protected the work space and cleaned up well upon finishing.
