HOMEOWNER BEWARE!! My experience with My Texas Home Services, and Len Waati in particular has been a nightmare. The company was hired to remodel my bathroom. Part of our agreement was that they would purchase the bathtub. Soon after the job was finished the tub started to leak. Initially Len ignored the problem and said we were splashing water outside the tub and that there was no leak. After I removed one of the vinyl tiles and he saw the amount of water that was leaking he looked again and noticed a crack. The tub was less than a year and should have been still under warranty. According to Len though, the manufacturer won't replace it because of weight limits, insinuating that we broke the tub! My husband is a big guy (ex football player) but not big enough to break a tub. We were left with the expense of having to replace the flooring and fix the tub because according to Len, it wasn't his fault...even though he purchased the tub! This is beyond frustrating. Save yourself the hassle and hire a real professional that will 1 - buy the right things, 2 - install it correctly, and 3 - work with you when things don't go as planned.

Very professional. Provided clear explanations about what he needed to do to pinpoint the problem, then quickly diagnosed and fixed it. I feel like he gave me all necessary info and didn't try to upsell. It is nice dealing with a service provider who is courteous, honest and efficient.

I called Len upon the recommendation of a plumbing supply house to install a new shower valve and fixture. That evening I met with Len, we discussed what had to be done and set up the appointment. The work done was performed in a very timely manner and came out beautiful. Additionally, they repaired plumbing access holes in the drywall that were made by others. The drywall repair work turned out excellent as they were able to install new drywall pieces seamlessly and match the texture of the walls around the repair. Very happy with the work, professionalism, and cleanliness of how the work area was left.

i don't have an option to give them 0 stars as they don't deserve any stars. these are conman entering your home and fleecing you of your hard earned money. both Sean and Len are sweet talkers and when it comes to delivering service they just ask for huge sums of money. my AC stopped cooling and i called them and they did not bother to turn up at the promised time....they always have an excuse that we are busy and lot of emergency calls. so after half a day of waiting at home Len turns up and established that it will be a $25 service call as faults are not covered in maintenance contracts. so i agreed. he concluded that capacitor on the outdoor unit has gone faulty and it will cost me $110 + $90 for labor and he will give me 15% discount as i'm a member. he also suggested that i will have to put booster for $275 as capacitor will not be enough to power the compressor. Well i googled....capacitor is available on home depot and amazon for $20 and booster for $25...WoW! exactly....Len is rude and not clear how he should be charging the customers.....i informed him not to change any parts and then he demanded $90 for the service whereas they advertise house of $25 service. this is what i get for having a maintenance contract with them. Len's pitch to sell me maintenance contract was that he will point out the parts getting out of warranty and claim warranty just before warranty expires. the faulty capacitor was also under warranty and he agreed to claim it in warranty but was charging me $45 to claim warranty....exactly why? So i have been naive as this is not i have to deal on day to day basis and now i have learn't my lesson to look for great references before i deal with any such company....fellows be careful of this company and don't let your hard earned money go to the wrong pockets.

I needed an inspection done for my furnace and AC units quickly because I was in my option period for a house I was about to buy. I found My Texas Home Services from a quick Google search and I'm so thankful I did! Len came out to the house within a few hours and wrote up a report for me on the spot. It was only $25 for the initial inspection and I could tell immediately he knew what he was talking about. Once I closed on the house, I called him to completely rip out both my furnace and AC and put in new ones. Len was out to look at the property and discuss scope the next morning! And by the end of the week, all of the work is done. Len and team: ripped out both my old AC and furnace, sealed up all the cracks and holes in my furnace and hot water tank area, added an extra vent in the space, put in a new furnace, ripped out my old ac unit and dug up the old concrete it was on, extended my electrical to move my ac unit outside by digging a massive trench and burying it, and installing a brand new AC unit and Nest thermostat. This was all done within a week. The work itself only took 2 mornings so I didn't have to take off much work, and it is all done for when I move in. I'm super impressed with everything they've done and I would highly recommend.

Len and his team were outstanding! Woke up on Sunday morning (Fathers Day) with my ceiling leaking due to a busted water heater and by Sunday afternoon I had a brand new system installed. They were professional, courteous and personable, all for a great price that Len quoted me up front. If only all contractors were this awesome.

The ABSOLUTE BEST plumber I have EVER found!! When it comes to a good honest deal & the right parts , he cant be beat!!!! He QUICKLY found me a SLIMLINE water heater that fit my space perfectly AND was EVEN SMARTER than the guy who originally installed the water heater 17 years ago.. That guy had got it in there by Disassembling the door frames for extra clearance & reassembling the door frame afterwards. Sadly he had retired as that heater had lasted 17 years & I was needing a new guy to install this one. Len figured out how to do it WITHOUT changing or altering the door frame. He was head & shoulders above his competition The Home Depot was not confident that they could find a way to get 40 Gal heater installed my water heater closet & wanted a lot more to adapt a 29 Gal to replace the 40 that was already in there.. Rescue rooter wanted to cut a hole in the wall for a second new door to get the old heater out & the new one in & estimated just under 3k as they HEAVILY padded the estimate , they even asked if there was room in the garage to build a new closet here & run all new pipes & wiring to it , at an even higher cost.. Len REALLY made me appreciate his honesty & his skill ,VERY happy, The heater was also sharing a closet with the Central Air & he was able to update the shared gas line to both VERY expertly !!! .. Overall the BEST plumber in Dallas bar none & also the best company I can think of for central Air maintenance...
