I appreciate your expertise in addressing all of those issues, you helped me so much. And I do understand a business needs to make profit and cover overhead. However, I think the amount of the fees were excessive and I will have to look for other options next time.

Needed a garbage disposal replaced plus a faucet
badger garbage disposal $105.00 on line...
faucet non name brand $50.00...
charges $900.00 for 4 hours of work with parts and the tech finishes the job in 30 minutes.
I work in the industry so I know how it goes, but wow!, isn't that a lot????
very disappointed in the high pricing so i will not be using My Plumber again!!!

My Plumber replaced a water valve and the inner workings of one toilet. They charged $575 for 50 minutes of work and maybe $30 maximum parts. This is outrageous price gouging. They have been our plumber for years and years, but we will never call them again. DO NOT USE MY PLUMBER! BE WARNED - even if you decline to have them do the work after they quote you a price, you will STILL OWE THEM A $79 trip fee. And by the way, My Plumber rep offered me $50 to remove this review.

These nimrods told me I needed to ""rebuild"" toilets at $400 per toilet, a new toilet costs about $150 to $200 and installation is about $50. So they completely ripped me off. I am a landlord who lives 100s of miles away from the house and they took complete advantage of me. I complained and they never responded. UNREAL

Outstanding service! We recently had an issue with our well on a rental property in Spotsylvania. After searching Yelp, I called and talked with a female staff member. She was very nice, responsive, and walked me through the process.
An appointment was scheduled, called us as they said they would, 30 minutes prior to arrival. The worker that showed up was named Joe. He called me after investigating the issue in the well and gave me the details of the problem and an estimate to fix it.
Their fast, attentive service saved the well pump. They changed a widget on the pump and it's all back to working order! Joe called back to inform us the job was completed.

Staff, service, and work ethic is top notch.

Totally taken advantage of. Toilet over flowed and flooded the downstairs. $700.00 for a new toilet and $600.00 to replace the guts of the toilet. Paid for the new toilet. Went to Lowes the next day. $100.00 to $300.00 for a new toilet and $100.00 for installation. $17.00 to buy the guts of the toilet. What a rip off. Feel taken advantage of. Will never use them again. Will shop around and ask questions before they come out.

In attempting to replace the hoses to my washing machine, I broke a PVC water line in the wall of my storage room on a Sunday, of all days. The only plumbing service that would return or respond to my call was My Plumber. A plumber came out and charged me an outrageous $384 to fix the break, which intailed 2 3/4"" couplings and 2"" of pipe ( Less than $10 at Lowes). He was at my home less than 45 minutes. Two weeks later, the fix did not hold up. I noticed a small puddle of water on the floor near my washing machine. Come to find out after emptying my storage closet, the leak had saturated the drywall and a lot of the wood that supports my stairs. I called back and a plumber came back out. They fixed (or who knows, maybe it will leak again) the pipe but refuse to accept any responsibility for the water damage. Which is absurd! I spoke with Howard, supposedly of ""Customer service"", he was rude, interrupted, and insisted they had photos of previous mold damage, which is not the case, there is no previous mold damage. The pictures he sent me of my home where pictures of water on the concrete floor from the first break. I would never, ever recommend this company. They are a rip-off with the fees they charge, they are irresponsible, and they need to accept responsibility for the horrible workmanship of their employees. Now, I am left with coming out of pocket to replace drywall and lumber they ruined. BEWARE OF MY PLUMBER!!!!

After a painfully long conversation with Harry Wilson the ""resolutions"" manager we were at an impasse as he made statements such as, "" If you did not agree with the price why didn't you just not pay it? We have lawyers that go to court over that every day"". Needless to say they claimed no responsibility for anything said or done and rambled on about how they do great things for the community and how they work every day with the BBB if I should choose to file a complaint with them. I think the other good reviews on this page got a completely different company because from my experience the federal government has more ethical practices than this place.

Alex B. did a great job for me. I had a toilet that would flush only when it felt like it, and made some baffling noises when it did. Alex came in and snaked it a few times, and that got it going more reliably. It still made a few noises, but a full tank flush (holding down the handle) clears the bowl, so I told him I'll cope with the noise. And he helped me save a couple of bucks with a few discounts; they recognize military and teachers with 10% off.

So I signed up for their Priority Club membership which includes a few regular visits a year to help keep things running smooth. Yeah, I know - some call it an upsell. But look, I won't be the one living in this apartment, but if anything goes wrong, I'm the one who's going to be stuck with the bill. At $20 a month, I figure having a system of preventative maintenance checks is worth a round of lattes a month. I can hear my old platoon sergeant now: ""Get that PMCS done on your vehicle, Private!""

And on top of that, Alex helped me save even more money (or is it Mo' Money?) by looking at a few other things while he was there. Most notably, my garbage disposal - he spotted a problem I wasn't even aware of, showed me how to fix it in no time, didn't even charge me a dime - and that could have been big bucks there....ka-ching!

I'm telling you - this was an easy 5-stars to give! I highly recommend you ask for Alex B.

We posted earlier about an event in which the plumber arrived looking for additional work to do--and told us verbally that the work ordered for the day would be warranted. However, the email receipt of the invoice stated the work would not be warranted because of water pressure. The company responded to my inquiry and granted a 90 day warranty which was acceptable to us.
