Their pricing is outrageous! Services and products are more than double compared to other options. They wanted me to pay $1,200 for a job that can be accomplished by others for around $500.

The service calls don't appear to be organized in any geographical manner resulting in their staff member arriving an hour after the scheduled window.

He was very nice and personable and I don't hold the pricing scheme against him. Anyone who shops around just a little will quickly realize how they are gouging their customers. I am tempted to report them to AARP for trying to take advantage of senior citizens but I suspect they mistreat all of their customers this way.

Myplumber is an average company that charges too much!!! They are no better than the competition but certainly much worse and unbalanced in price. I've used them twice. First time, shame on them, second time shame on me. I will not use them again. Their prices are not/not/not commensurate with the NOVA area - period. They charged me $375 to install a garbage disposal (I provided the garbage disposal). The going rate for this area on the high end is between $175-$200. Home Depot charges $120. Additionally, the My Plumber service charge is $79 compared to Michael & Son at $29. In other words, just to visit my home for an assessment they charge me nearly $80 dollars compared to their closest competition at $29. Unacceptable. Why did I use them? Because I have no sense. Both Home Depot and Michael and Son were booked solid, clearly b/c they are bettered priced with the same level of service. I didn't have patience and paid the price...dont make my mistake!!!!! Be patient and use the competition. They will be just as good and half the price!!!!

I made an appointment on Wed for Friday. The customer service rep was very nice and professional. I arranged for a plumber to come prepare my home for the impending cold weather. I also requested an hvac tech to do the same. I was advised the plumber would arrive Friday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The hvac tech would be an all-day window from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. I was fine with that schedule. At 3 p.m. I called their customer service number and asked the ETA for the plumber since 2pm had come and gone. They said they were behind but assured me someone would be in route soon. At 8pm, I received a call from their customer service to reschedule for another day. No thank you. I will never suggest this company.

Do NOT use them! They cannot meet their own appointment time window. Called for an appointment a week out. Scheduled a 4 hour window of 7-11am. Called at 10:30 to say they wouldn't make it by 11. Asked them to come between 11-2pm not later than 2:15. Never called back. Never showed up. They have been calling my house for months trying to get my business. I finally tried to give them some business but apparently they aren't really that interested. Why can't service providers meet their OWN 4 hour appointment windows?? Or in this case, a 7 hour window????

I have long heard of this company so I assume they were reputable. There have an advertised $49 furnace ""check up."" At the end of the ad they state that ""our tuneups are guaranteed for a year or your money back."" I scheduled them to come out assuming they we're going to do a service or some type of tune up or at least check the unit's operation.

When the technician arrived, he called and told me that he didn't want me to""waste my money"" on this service. He further told me that he didn't want me to tell other people that I had my furnace checked by them since he was not going to do a check up, tuneup, or anything like that. This was ""just a safety inspection"" was his exact wording. He tried to sell me on their other services.

I called their office to ask what I was spending $49 for an why the service tech was essentially trying to talk me out of it but obviously trying to up sell me to other services. The dispatcher told me she didn't know anything about the service because she was ""just a dispatcher."" She said she would have a manager call me. It's been a week and no one has called. My wife told me that this person spent more time talking to her and selling their services than doing any actual work.

They are very clever in their wording on their commercial (the $49 dollar service check and their tune up are apparently not the same thing), but to me this is false advertising.

I will not use this company again. As far as I'm concerned, I just paid $49 have a sales person come to my house.

They were not on time (there were several visits). Sending an email as they dispatch the plumber or work crew is not the same as actually getting there during the scheduled time window. When crews were not coming, they never notified me; I had to call them and find out where the crew was. Their communication within the company is atrocious; it's like their right hand doesn't know what their left hand is doing. Work was not finished regarding completely refilling an excavated hole (outdoor work involving water lines). The payment check given to them took a long time to get to accounts receivable, so we received past due notices/threats of sending to collections after we had paid and thought it had been settled! The plumbers themselves do decent work, but I feel bad for them because the company makes the actual plumbers look bad. If you are in Maryland, you call their main (Virginia) phone number to handle all scheduling and issues. Take note that the Maryland and Virginia groups are separate, requiring some all-important communication to get things right.

Sloppy looking final installation, work was performed within about 1-1/2 hours of technicians arrival only to find the waterline install 9 feet of the ground looking more like a shower head than what is typically expected (within 12-20 inches above the floor grade located behind the refrigerator). Extremely expensive considering the technician was only here for 1-1/2 hours. Will not recommend their services.

Thank you for your polite and timely return calls. Thank you, John, for coming right out and doing a very good job fixing the issues I had. I appreciate your expertise in addressing all of those issues, you helped me so much. And I do understand a business needs to make profit and cover overhead. However, I think the amount of the fees were excessive and I will have to look for other options next time.
