Worst plumber ever. Beware, I can hands down tell you this is the worst experience with service ""professionals"" I have ever had. i was charged 695.00 for replacing my disposal, mind you this was the cheapest option. My repair man worked all of 10 minutes, bought a $130 disposal from Lowe's and screwed it in. I would have paid north of $300 without batting an eye, because I understand convenience and labor, but when pressed as to the price break down and the why of it all they provided me this... ""50% is the products price, 40% is the labor and 10% is overhead"", so I informed them that the price of the disposal was 130.00, so at max you have confirmed the price of the job should be roughly $300. The owner pivoted and said they can't compete with the price of the disposals at Lowe's because they buy in bulk, and get them off a box truck. I know anyone still reading this understands that's absolutely insane, as buying whole sale or in bulk is much cheaper than that of a store front chain. I could go on for days at the manipulation and bad business, but I'll keep this long story short...This company is the worst I have ever seen, use anyone else, your wallet will thank you! Worst company ever.

I had MY PLUMBER look into my mom's problem with her water pressure in her house. Mom's 94 years old and lives by herself but she is intelligent and conversational and more than just a good judge of character and value. The plumber went under the house and spotted a problem with the main shut off valve. He was thorough and went to the well and decided the pressure tank needed replacing also. All in all the estimate for those services were $3200 which included a $100 discount for the yearly club membership and a $100 discount for the senior discount. (A picture of the estimate has been attached). Now, mind you mom was already on their yearly service plan and had already paid them $900 to install a bathroom faucet and replace the hot and cold water control valves under the sink. Needless to say we sought another plumbing service. The new plumber came out and assessed the situation and did agree that all the work needed to be done. However, his estimate was $750. Total. And he could do it the next day. So it was done. I won't mention the new plumbers company here because this review is dedicated to MY PLUMBER. Just a side note here. Prior to the plumbing repairs My Plumber sent their HVAC contractors out to mom's and did a great job of cleaning her vents and fixing her dryer vent. But one of their workers broke a PVC water pipe and called the home office to send someone out to fix it. He showed up that afternoon and assessed the damage and told mom he could fix it for $1200. Mom told him that it was My Plumbers people that broke it and they should fix it for free. The plumber told her he would talk to his supervisor. He came back to mom and told her that his supervisor okayed fixing the broken pipe for only $600. Mom pretty much told him to fix it for nothing and NOW. IT GOT FIXED FOR NOTHING.

My plumber today was Issa. He was prompt, professional, and friendly. He did an overall plumbing inspection and found some issues that if not fixed now would cause severe problems down the road. He gave us a good price for everything, and we are very happy with the work. Highly recommend and be sure to ask for Issa.

I would look else where, technician was nice however I got quoted 568.00 to replace an upper heating element on a 2. year old water heater. I could go to Home Depot for 686.00 and get a whole brand new water heater with a new warranty

Plumber plus came out about a week ago, and put a camera done the toilet to take pictures and found about 29 feet down the pipe was full of water. We asked the technician how much that was going to cost and he quoted 12,000, we also asked him if he wanted to take a look in the crawl space and he relayed no that wouldn't be necessary. The technician said that they would have to dig up the front yard and it needed to be done sooner than later. Well we got a second opinion they came out this morning, this technician wanted to check the crawl space first thing. Found broken bracelets, fixed it in 15 mintes and charged 185. If I could I would rate a 0

We had an issue with getting consistent hot water throughout the house. I called My Plumber and they had guys out within a few hours.

Our water heater is less than 2 years old. They told me that both elements and thermostats needed replaced. While they were there, it was noticed that the Manuel for the heater, located on top of it, was wet. Flex lines were used to install the heater, instead of copper. They said those lines were leaking and needed replaced.

They wanted to charge a THOUSAND dollars to install 2, 2' sections of copper pipe, and another almost $700 to replace both elements and thermostats. It'd have been cheaper to replace the water heater!

I got a second opinion. The elements and thermostats were fine, as were the flex hoses. A shut-off valve was loose and randomly dripping. Tightened it up, and no more water. As for the hot water issue, it was a pressure balancing cartridge that hadn't been installed yet, during the bathroom remodel.

My Plumber tried to rip me off and it wouldn't have even fixed the problem!!!

Had a simple job, faucet replacement. I couldn't fin8sh due to recent surgery, called these folks up through home advisor, from there customer service was#1. Joe my technician came by very professional and courteous knocked it out in 5 minutes. Gave us sensible recommendations and some we are doing now, some in 2018. No pressure at all just sensible recomendations. Got on a preventative maintenance plan and saving money. Very happy with everyone I have dealt with.

Do not use My Plumber for Air Conditioning purposes. Call Home Depot or McCrea HVAC

In 2010, at the recommendation of My Plumber (who comes up when you search google for HVAC help), I had a 3 Ton Goodman Split System AC/Heat pump installed in my residence in Stafford, VA. The work was quick, the employees professional and cordial, but the system proved worthless.

In 2012, I had to have the first warranty work performed to re-charge the R410A coolant. That should have been the first warning. I was not charged for this work.

In Jan 2015, I had to have more warranty work as I appeared to have been running on emergency heat throughout the early winter, which turned out to be faulty wiring during the initial install. Perhaps I'd been running on emergency heat all along, which only my electric bill would indicate. Again, I was not charged for the work.

In April 2015, the AC failed. Seemed there was a leak somewhere and the technician couldn't find it. I was charged $808 for the service, inspection and coolant re-fill, which was reduced to ~$550 for final payment. The technician returned free of charge to inspect the system 2 weeks later with nothing found.

In May 2015, The AC failed again., A different technician using electronic tools did identify a leak in the evaporator coil of the ""in house"" air exchange. This is usually a very bad sign and the recommended solution was complete system replacement. No charge for this fee, as they'd already charged me $550 to fix the failing system they recommended that I install. These systems come with a 10 year warranty for parts, but My Plumber foretasted $2500 to ""fix"" the broken evaporator coil for me.

My Plumber quoted me $8800 for a 3-Ton Carrier Split AC/Heat pump with installation along with their recommendation not to repair the faulty system they sold me to begin with.

Home Depot quoted me $5300 for the same system with installation.

My recommendation is to not call My Plumber for AC work. Contact Home Depot who uses Mcrea HVAC out of Fredericksburg and the work was done perfectly in less than 4 hours with over $3500 saved.

Why does ""My Plumber"" recommend Goodman (subject of a Class Action lawsuit in North Carolina at the moment) and why is the charge for service not even close ($3500 difference).
