Along with a flowing water leak that appeared one day in the ceiling of our basement, we had a few other minor problems that needed attention (a squeaky toilet, toilet plunger, and loose fixture connections). We called My Plumber...

...boy, what a waist of time and money.

The technician investigated the leak (suspecting it coming from 2nd floor bathroom) for 30-40 minutes attempting to replicate the problem. We found moisture around the bathtub pipes and trying to find the problem, the technician showed me there was moisture by poking a hole thru the floor (1st floor ceiling). Strangely, he was unable to identify the leak.

He then made some minor adjustments on the squeaky toilets and fixtures and said that the flushing mechanisms were on their last legs. Instead of fixing, he recommended I order the parts. The overflow to the bathtub was loose and he recommended I reseal it. I asked him what I was going to do about the hole in my ceiling he created and the technician told me to get that fixed.

He left and gave me his cell number and he would come over in case I was able to replicate the water leak. 3 hours later, I was able to replicate the leak and identified the source so I called the technician. He did not respond.

A few days later the toilets began squeaking again.

Better to select a different option for your plumbing needs.

I've been a customer under contract with this company for the last 10+ years. I called to schedule a service to install a ceiling fan that's already wired and ready to go They would not give me a quote over the phone, they needed to come in the house to see. The quote was $455!!!! Wow!! I couldn't believe it. I called customer service, and that was the going price I was told. Cancel installment, I was charged $79 to come in my house. I plan to stop using their services. Called another company and got a quote over the phone for $ 120.

We were out of town and our renter called to say no hot water. I told her to call and we would pay. The repair person came and said it was $200 to check out the water heater. It turned out the thermostat. The bill was $450. What happened to $49 to check out water heater? The average cost to replace a thermostat is $150 to $200. I think we were taken.

Do not, under any circumstances, use these people. Please... if you value your time, your sanity, and your wallet, you will be better-off hiring some random person off the street. Lack of knowledge, lack of professionalism, they don't come when they say they will (for days), there are lies, and they give you pricing as high as it can possibly be. When you call them on it, they make up reasons the price is so high, and then come down to 1/3 of what it was, when you tell them to leave. Do not call these people.

Very crooked. Do not call them, they will come unannounced and price gouge you on the work they say was completed. Find another compsny

Terrible Company will never recommend to any ,I scheduled them to come to my duct cleaning and the day of service before 5 pm I called 3 times to reac our one of their manager but I haven't get call back ,the day after I did call again finally after 5 call one of their costumers rep called me back and offer me $50 gift card which they cause me to call cleaning company to come
Clean after them since they never cover anything and dust all my brand new house .

Terrible experience never ever call them back and don't waste your time ,just call small local company instead ,since I thought they are big and professional but they are not at all top of that over priced ..

I used My Plumber to address a water heater issue at my small business. This was back in January. Long story short, my water heater is still not functioning properly even though I spent over $2,500. This company is going to sell you things you don't need and when you try to contact them with issues they have abysmal customer service. They always say they will followup and get back to you, but they never do. I have called, complained on social media, etc. It doesn't matter to them. I guess when you have unethical business practices, such as replacing water heater elements for no reason, you don't need to have good customer service. You'll just move on to the next customer who will fall for it.

If I could give zero stars I would...I had an appt March 28th and my window was 8-12...When 1:00 came I decided to call to see what was going on I spoke to customer service and they tell me he is still at another job and I'm next in line this was at 1:00, 2:00 & 3:00 came around and still no sign of this person so I call again and they tell me the same thing he's almost done and you are next in line by the time 4:00 came I decide to just cancel the service spoke to customer service again to let them know that I took the day off from work for nothing and to just cancel all services that I have with them I asked to speak with a manager and I am still waiting on the manager to call me back...never going to happen....I'm done with this company customer service sucks and they do not care about you or try to even fix the situation....why do I have to call and get the status of this worker?? Why can't customer service call and give me updates why'd don't they apologize for running late something....SMH.....so done

Work was Fine, but Extremely Overpriced
Two years ago, I scheduled to get a leaking valve from my dishwasher fixed as well as installation of a new faucet & a replacement of an indoor shut-off valve for one of my outdoor bibs. I also ended up having a new garbage disposal put in while the plumber was here. $569 for the new disposal & installation; $343 for faucet installation; $217 for dishwasher shut-off valve; and $374 for bib shut-off valve.

After the disposal crapped the bed one day before the two-year mark, I contacted them about this & they said they could send someone out, but then I never got a response to my follow-up to actually schedule the appointment. So I looked up disposals to see if I could do it myself. Holy price markup!! I got an upgraded Evolution garbage disposal (3/4 HP, 4-year warranty) for $219 versus $109 for the Badger5 (1/2 HP, 2-year warranty) that they installed. That means they charged over $400 to install a garbage disposal!! Amazon will install for $137. Let that sink in. (And I did install the new disposal myself.)

I will say that when I pointed out the lapse in communication, the customer service rep who immediately followed up was very apologetic (and astounded at the oversight).
