Way overpriced for work done. The scheduling of appointments is a throwback to the 1970s where you roll the dice and hope you get a call by the committed time, and a visit within a window from Noon to midnight. Two staffmembers bad-mouthed management as uncaring and unprofessional. Avoid!

I am not going to complain about their quality of service. This is because I chose not to go ahead with the work I originally called them for. I don't know which office answered my phone call so I can't point to a specific shop. My ""complaint"" is the absurd estimate they gave me for the simple task of removing my old kitchen faucet and replacing it with one I purchased. This task involves disconnecting/reconnecting two water lines and mounting the water unit thru the holes in the sink. A one armed tech could do this in less than one hour. I was quoted $363 dollars for this task. And that was with a discount for my military service. It would have been almost $400 without it. Please note that most auto dealers in the DC area only charge a rate of around $125/hour for far more complex work on cars. I told the tech this quote was excessive. I told him that $150 would be far more reasonable. He declined my counter offer. Before I called My Plumber I called Len the Plumber and essentially got what must be a common technique they all use. They won't give you a quote over the phone (despite the fact that by now they must have done thousands of similar jobs and clearly know what is involved). They claim they need to make an on-site assessment. That may be the case in some cases of more large scale projects like sewer work, hot water heater, etc. But come on, how complicated is a faucet replacement? And then $363 for less than an hour's worth of work. If I was a little more paranoid I would speculate that a major portion of their ""on-site"" assessment is based upon how upscale you and your neighborhood appear to be. I guess my 6000 square foot house put me on the high end of the ""estimate"" scale. Fortunately I did not have to pay for the site visit because I was a first time customer. On the positive side the tech (Bryan) did show up in a reasonable time and seemed like a nice guy. At least he liked my dog. My point here is just that the estimate was completely unreasonable for the amount of work that was required. A plumber should not be charging more than a car dealer for work.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Don't use these guys if you can help it. THEY DON'T SHOW UP! They cancelled the first appointment while we were waiting. As I am writing this, they are already four hours late to a rescheduled appointment. Of course they don't bother to call and give you updates. You have to call them and when you do, they feed you garbage. They give you a window, don't stick to the window and don't bother calling to tell you that they are not able to be there within a 6-hour window that they give you! DO NOT USE THEM!! GO ELSEWHERE. By the way, we're in their so called, ""PRIORITY Club."" :)

Our business, AAFPRS, was very impressed with the knowledge of the plumber that we dealt with through My Plumber (Tommy D.) He was timely and professional. Tommy took the time to explain the problem and gave us options regarding the repair. He also gave us important information on the possibility of black mold and the consequences. We will be using My Plumber/Tommy D. again when the need arises.

They did a good job today unclogging my drain. I made a request on line, and they were at my house within 2 hours. No issue. Look, if you want good service, you have to expect to pay for it. Don't be fooled by cheaper, guy-on-the-street services. I have used them several times and they get the job done.

I wish there was a lower rating, not for the service but for the incessant robo calls I have been receiving from my plumber...sometimes more than once/day. I finally responded to one call and asked to be taken off but the aggressive sales agent would not take no for an answer, so, sigh, we still are receiving the calls.

I have used My Plumber two times, and have been impressed both times with their service and all-round professionalism. Prompt, willing to discuss alternatives price-wise. I now keep their number on my fridge.

I Called to tell them exactly what we needed. Specifically stating we did not need a camera because there were roots in the line. The first person I spoke to said that was fine and that the $79 service fee would be waived. Not only did the technician arrive late, they told us the big companies now put a camera down the line before they snake the drain. Why didn't they tell me this up front? That is at least a 300 dollar fee. They also said it would be about 700. I said I did not want the service any longer. When I called about the service fee being waived, they said that the first person I spoke to lied. The technician was late, the representative was misleading, and the service seemed way over priced. Overall a very bad experience.

The customer service on the phone was professional, timely, and helpful. To say that Mr. Edgar Artiga surpassed my expectations would be accurate. I was nervous about the repair because gas was involved, I had had a different company's repairman out to try to fix it 3X. Edgar performed the task in less time than predicted, professionally, and personably. He worked with me to find a financial solution that was within my budget. Thank you Edgar! Because of your work, myplumber will be my first call from now on.

unresponsive after 3-4 phone calls. there was alive person on the phone who SEEMED to take directions BUT no phone call, no notice- Nothing but crickets in an emergency situation, Unreliable-don't waste your time.
