My Local Plumber was established in 2010 as a licensed plumbing service, though I began my plumbing career in 1999 during my time as a water heater technician for Just Water Heaters in Hayward, California, a business that failed due to mismanagement.

Fast forward to 2022, My Local Plumber is positioned for major expansion throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as the entire state of California. With God's assistance, we plan to utilize our CSLB license #1040667 to expand into NV, UT, and AZ since we have the experience to do so. Expect to see My Local Plumber taking the forefront as a top plumbing service that aims to revolutionize the plumbing service industry.

I want to express my passion for this trade because it constantly pushes me to improve. I have accumulated significant experience since 1999. Currently, I aim to create a new eco-friendly plumbing system to protect our vital resources, as we face the threat of water scarcity if we keep using it carelessly.

I install only Noritz Tankless Water Heaters because they are the top brand worldwide in tankless water heater technology.

Feel free to call me directly at 707-450-9475, and I will deliver quality service, affordability, along with the outstanding customer service you expect.

UPDATE*** Michael just called my father(whom lives with us), believe it or not, and told my father that if I didn't take down my Yelp review that he would sue me for defamation of character. Then he proceeded to tell my father that my home is not in a business zone and that he would report me to the city (I own a business my self). I then called him and asked him why he didn't just call me, his exact words, ""There's no sense in talking to you."" Ok, so you're going to call my old 70 year old father to and stress him out? Incredible!

(He has another Yelp account so I had to post on both)

He didn't have a camera to look down in our drains or anything like that. He stated, ""plumbing equipment is expensive and I need about 30 racks to get everything I need."" No camera to see what was wrong, nothing.

First of all, if you do decide to move forward with Michael, make sure you get an exact price from him, if not , he will do to you like he did to me, ""Don't worry about it look at our slogan."" Which is, We drain everything but your wallet. Initially Michael told me the job would be $650, so I went to leave him a check and he told me not yet, not until after we're done. I got a bill for $790 and the invoice had Masonry work on it. Since when did we agree that you were to do masonry work on my home? We hired a plumber to do a plumbing job at our home. ""well that was on the house."" Ok, so why is it on my invoice, why does the masonry work you did Not match the alignment of the rest of the bricks and why did you do this without asking me first?

If you and said company agree to a time of arrival then that's what you should expect, right?
Michael did not arrive on multiple occasions and Responded in a manner that I felt uncomfortable. We'll be there at 9 am, 8:45 am, we're just going to lunch and will be back, are all things we heard from Michael. Not once, showed up on time and we asked to reschedule because 3 hours later he still wasn't back from his long lunch. The job he did for us required our water be off so we had no water all day . I will attach a picture below.

If you and said company agree to something then that's what you should expect to come home to correct? After a long day away from home, I came home to some contraption in front of my house that was sticking out and could easily get hurt on; I called him moments later and asked him, ""Hi Michael, I just wanted to make sure that's not how you are going to leave that because that's not what we agreed upon."" His response is hilarious, "" Well being a plumber is like playing Doctor or an Engineer, does it hurt here or here, so we have to find the right spot."" Really. Why would you do something that the customer wasn't aware of and didn't agree to? He spent 3 days in front of our home and not once did he have an exact answer to our questions.

He also had opinions about another local company, Christian plumbing, ""They should just give up already.""

I can't thank these guys enough for the great job they did! Our hot water heater went out and they got us a new one quickly. They stayed late to make sure it was installed correctly. The next day they called to make sure we were happy with thier work. Great work and great customer service!

The only reason I am giving this business 1 star is because zero is not an option. I hired the owner Michael, to do a plumbing job at a retail space. I needed plumbing run from the bathroom to a sink in the showroom, on the other side of the bathroom wall. He ran the plumbing, and installed the sink and faucet. The problem was when I turned the handle on for hot water, only cold water came out of the faucet. When I turned the handle on for cold water, nothing came out at all. He was there when this happened. I said I would check with the property manager to see if there was a water heater for the building. He told me to let him know and he would take care of it. I paid him in full and he left with the the understanding the job was not complete. I called him today to finish the job and he immediately got angry. He started denying there was anything wrong, he said I was trying to pin something on him, and that someone else caused the problem. Before I could even finish explaining why I was calling, he hung up on me. 10 minutes later he sent me a text saying I should have told him I have a new problem, instead of trying to falsely pin something on him. I've never sued anyone, but I can't afford to hire another plumber, and the way he spoke to me was so abusive I know there is no sense in me even trying to deal with him any further on my own. I sent him a text back saying I thought it was very sad he was being so unprofessional, and he was going to force me to pursue legal action against him. He immediately replied back with a sarcastic text saying ""Good luck.""

UPDATE: July 24, 2016

I read Michael's response, and would like to make some clarifications. He said there was no line and asking why he should be responsible. That is what I hired him to do! Run plumbing lines! He ran lines from the bathroom to the showroom sink; why would I hire a plumber to run lines to a sink and not expect to have water? That makes no sense. He doesn't think he is responsible for water coming out of the faucet after he ran the lines and installed everything? It should be noted that he installed the sink and toilet in the bathroom too! This has been entirely his job; no other plumbers are involved. and the toilet, sinks and cabinets are all brand new. He hung up on me within 1 minute when I called, yet he obviously knows the problem even though he didn't give me a chance to speak. You can see by his previous review and his response to me that he is extremely unprofessional. I am the 2nd person dealing with his incompetence and anger problem.

So we had a back up of some kind which had water all over. We called and he came out and did some work. That was fine. We go in and use the restroom after he leaves and see a cracked toilet bowl lid. So I call and let him know. He instantly gets defensive and angry and says he didn't do it. After going back and forth he says he will come back by. He shows up a half hour later. Comes out with the lid and explains how there is no way he did it. That we were looking for something for free. His exact line was ""there is no free lunches in America"" so I finally just said look just go. The fact we are sitting here doing this over something so small is pretty ridiculous. We are a business and just wanted an issue fixed not a free 25 dollar lid. If he had just discussed it and met in the middle or had done anything other than just getting angry this could have been resolved very easily. Instead his angry denials and lack of customer service turned it into what I listed above.

Micheal and his crew were fantastic! They installed a fancy clawfoot tub fixture, replumbed our sink, did a major major repair job on our underhouse plumbing and other misc plumbing. What impressed me was Micheal's creative thinking, commitment and honesty. Our job was multiple days and he came back each day at the time he committed to. I will be working with Michael again for plumbing and have referred MyLocalPlumber to several people. Moreover, his rates were astonishing! For the amount of work they did I would have expected 2x more. I am in the home improvement business and know a good crew when I see it. Save time and money and hire these guys!

One of the most outstanding qualities about Michael is that he is a visionary. He doesn't just jump in to do a major job by rote, he studies an individual piping system and formulates a solution that best works for the individual house.

We first called Michael when we were looking to buy a house, and the original plumber wasn't able to meet with us. Luckily Michael was able to show up on short notice, for which we were so grateful. We ended up not getting that house, but bought another. The one we bought is a quirky old place, and was rife with plumbing issues that essentially amounted to a complete overhaul!

Michael got us an estimate, and then approached the job. As it turned out, the piping that had been installed previously was not exactly standard, so pretty much everything had to be redone! It was scary and daunting, and I feared the job couldn't be completed by the time we needed to move in! But even though he had to make changes in the original plans, AND had to work through some weekends, Michael got everything functioning by the time we occupied the house. There were still things that needed to be ""fine-tuned"" once we were there, but Michael stuck with it. He is very diligent and focused.

We are now happily situated in our new home, and hope that all will be well and healthy with our plumbing for a long time to come!

Be aware! Michael is very dishonest. And I am still uncertain if he has the correct Licenses to do plumbing work. I contact him due to we got some issues with the sewer line, as I told him over the phone. First of all he did not show up at the time we scheduled for, and he did not have the correct equipment, he said he could only start working on our sewer line after 5pm, or on the weekend so he does not get in trouble with the City. It appeared to me that he is NOT licensed!
He quoted via email with the description of work to be done, I gave him green light to go ahead. He asked for around a 30% deposit otherwise he wouldn't start the job. I deposited the money into his bank account. To make long story short HE DID NOT DO THE JOB AT ALL! but yet he will not return my deposit!!! Do not trust this person!

Awesome job, affordable service and quick. I will recommend him to my circle of friends.

Our toilet was partially clogged. Turned out something was trapped in it and we replaced the toilet. He also quickly fixed a few other items around our house that had minor plumbing issues. Thanks for your help.
