Horrible!!! Outrageous!! I am a realtor and they did some work for a client and charged them double on everything. Then told her as a seller it probably needed replacement and would not last long!!! They charged $400 for a leak in a faucet which she could have put a new one in for $250. They quoted her $2500 for her water heater to be replaced and I sent my plumber over who did it for $1500. This company is a rip off artist. Beware!

Found about this company thru our warranty company who guaranteed the work for 30 days. Unfortunately after 30 days we had to file another claim but My Guys offered to stand behind their work and come back out.

I would give no star if I could. My warranty company sent out because my ac not cooling. Technician came out. Check outside unit and then went into the attic. After 15 minutes came back to tell me that my evaporator coil in air handler in the attic was not working. Did the whole scare tactic by telling me my warranty company would take 7 to 10 days to approve and then it would be 3 to 5 more days before they could get the parts. And reminded me that I would still be out of pocket about $2000. He then told me option two was to hire them directly and they could come out tomorrow and fix it for a total of $7500 ( cost for a whole new outside unit ). Of course I told him no way. I then had a friend in the AC business come out and check it out to see if he could just charge it. He quickly found the leak was outside and was able to replace the capacitor which cost me $28. And a new dryer filter for $40. So my friend was able to fix my air conditioning unit that has been running fine for two weeks for under $100 plus $75 for refrigerant
My advice get a second opinion or just don't hire these guys.

They make their money by working with warranty companies and coming to your house and using the scare tactic to sell you up.

Really disappointing. We had My Guys AC come out through our home warranty. After telling my husband a part that was covered under warranty needed to be fixed, they also said they needed to clean the coils, an additional $200+. A week later, AC problems again and they have ignored questions asking if they checked the refrigerant levels. Would definitely not recommend, seems like if a warranty is involved they look to do whatever they can to charge extra and not actually fix the problem.

Thank you for responding, and I appreciate your dedication to your company and defense of your employees. However we had the AC looked at when we bought the house in April, and the coils were ok then. I have emailed the office twice asking if refrigerant was checked, no response. Appreciate the offer, but I think we will skip the warranty and return visit and go with a company we have used before. Might also mention to your tech that it's appreciated when you pull a Garden hose around two sides of a house, to return it to where it was to start.

NEVER EVER USE THESE GUYS...THEY LIE, REFUSE TO FOLLOW UP ON SERVICE, OR DELIVER ITEMS ALREADY PAID FOR AND MESSY!!!

Installed a furnace/air conditioner system and new duct work, a tankless water heater and a mini split a/c system. A lot of money! Now I have spent a lot money fixing their mistakes.

They did not correctly install the mini split and it lost all of it Freon. All of the pipes they ran for the furnace and water heater were the wrong size according to code and the manual for the tankless water system and refused to make it right. Denying they did anything wrong. Tore out old vents and left huge gaping holes in every room in the house -and said it was my job to get the ceiling repaired.

When gas was installed they refused to come check to make sure everything was working properly in the furnace and water heater. And ignore phone calls requesting they deliver all vent covers which have been paid for..

Never cleaned up after themselves....left tools and debris behind. And never arrived in their window of time.

if this company is sent by the warranty company. you are screwed the guy shows up in about a $60,000 truck jacked up off the ground goes out side and is outside about 5 minutes comes back in and goes to the attic then comes back and tells me that something on my inside unit has been taken apart. then says the inside and outside units need to be replaced and the freon it has is outdated. he goes out side send his assessment over to warranty company comes back in and says the claim was denied but he could sale us units for the inside and outside for $10,000 at $112 a month for 180 months. now i have to fight with my warranty company
