We had CJ come out to our property to recommend a new heating and air unit. He wore are the appropriate equipment to protect for COVID-19, stayed distant yet still provided a quote with a lot of helpful information. He guided us through all of options and even some substitutes for our budget. We really admire the professional quality this company has to offer.

The furnace stopped blowing hot air and the fan wouldn't kick on. I spoke with Carrie in the office who was very personable and attentive to the problem. I called late in the day, and the next morning I had a technician working on the problem. The technician was polite, listened to what I had to say, and was able to identify the problem quickly. The technician, Jared, was also very accommodating to the no-contact practice in place due to the coronavirus. I wish I had reached out to this company in 2016 when I had the AC replaced. This was my fourth service call for the same issue; the first three calls were to the original company. I am confident the true problem has now been corrected. Thanks Jared!

After reading a lot of reviews, I called Mr. Guy and two others. Jared came out and told my husband that in order to install the new ac system, we would definitely need a new furnace and all new ductwork because there wasn't any way the existing ductwork would past HERS testing. One other company also suggested a new furnace and another never mentioned a furnace replacement. Neither of the other two said the house would need new ductwork, because the house construction made access difficult. We didn't replace the furnace, nor the ductwork. After the install, It passed the HERs testing at 6.2. A new duct install has to pass at 6.0. An existing house install that it's difficult to replace ductwork is allowed 15. So........Jared gave a big up sell spin. Always get at least three proposals.

Heard from our renter that the heating system was ""acting up."" I was referred to My Guy Heating and Air by some neighbors. Called and from the very beginning was thoroughly impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the company and everyone I came in contact with. They can not be more highly recommended - period!

These guys are my guys! And gals! See what I did there? Seriously, super reliable and honest. Great at diagnosing a problem and making recommendations without the pressure of feeling like you had to go with them. But because of their sincerity--my man Nick's, more specifically, you know moving forward is the right call. We've had furnace issues and they've been able to diagnose and fix. They were also able to foresee other items that will eventually fail and make recommendations for future follow up. They own up to their work and will always make right if it isn't 100%. I appreciate Nick and his willingness to help. Also, their prices are fair. Keep up the good work Nick and team!

I'm extremely satisfied with the service I received from My Guy Heating & Air! They will definitely be the first call I make for any future HVAC needs. CJ was the technician who handled my call and he was everything I could ask for - competent, efficient, personable and honest. I have a mini-split system, which requires skills that not all HVAC techs have. CJ has all of the training and experience to diagnose and repair these systems. A couple years ago, I had a service call from the company who installed my system and after my great experience with My Guy, I will not be using them again. Do yourself a favor and call My Guy.

My heater stopped working and I took the day off to see if someone could check it on the same day because my arthritis was very painful the night before. I tried calling just about every heating/AC company to no avail. The receptionist at My Guy said she would check to see if Brian could stop by after his last call since it was on his way home. Brian stopped by a little after 4 pm and after inspecting the unit, was able to replace a capacitor and reset. Because of the courteous receptionist and incredible customer concern that Brian demonstrated in his visit that day, I will and already have spoken highly of ""My Guy"" and in particular this brilliant young man, Brian, that stopped by at the end of his shift to not only do a job, but show sincere concern for my situation. So many services these days are lacking in this most important part of all, honest, sincere human concern for the person in need. This was the best customer service I have seen in a long time!!!!

I met Bryan while he was sitting in his truck outside one Paseo presumably he was doing another job. I approached him unexpectedly and told him about my situation and explained that I lived across the street. I asked him if he would be willing to pop over for a few minutes just to look at the job and give me an estimate. He was very accommodating and came over within an hour as promised. He was very thorough and explained what needed to be done. A little backstory on our situation. We had air-conditioning added three years ago by another company which has since folded and they did a terrible job. Every time it rained we got water in our garage. Bryan explained where the other companies errors were and told us these things can easily be remedied by doing XYZ and gave us a fair bid. Fast forward to the day of the job they were prompt professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them!!

Nicholas C. came to check on a strange noise from our Aircon Heatpump and discovered a board touching it was sounding off.
Removing it solved the problem and while it was a service call and he had spent the time he didn't charge us!

It's suuuper hot in Ramona. We have solar panels and a brand new ac unit so you can imagine how devastated I was when I tried to turn on my ac and nothing happened. We were miserable! I read the reviews and called My Guy. The receptionist (her name starts with a k) was so helpful and sympathetic. She scheduled me for the next day and Nicholas showed up on time and ready to go. He quickly diagnosed the problem and switched out my transformer and installed a surge protector. He was quick, friendly, knowledgeable, gave us a military discount and left us an extra fuse just in case! I will definitely be calling My Guy again if I ever need ac/heating repair. Thank you!!
