The most unprofessional service providers I have ever been forced to work for me. Forced because my Home Warranty service chose MGP to replace my Water Heater in November 2023. My Georgia Plumber several times added additional charges and delayed the installation of my water heater for about 1 month during winter. \With no warm water in winter, I had to pay total deductibles much more than if I had not used my Home Warranty. My Georgia Plumber had stored my credit card information without my consent, and recently they charged my credit card because the Home Warranty had not paid to this plumber a final amount. Their recent emails ask me to file a Performance Bond Claim complain against my Home Warranty to get my money back. Also they threaten me to put a lien on my house if I decline their recent unauthorized credit card charge for a service even though I had paid all my dues 7 months ago. Working with My Georgia Plumber was painful, several surprising demands for unanticipated new fees, long delays and at end much expensive compared to other plumbers I have worked with. Even after 7 months they charge for what I do not owe them but as they believe home warranty owe them.

So the company want to charge $150 just to event provide a Quote. Business must be really good that they are the only one that want money to even talk. Good luck. There are plenty other reliable Certified Plumbers that'd provide estimate free to earn the business and not be greedy to charge for even talking.

Whatever you do make sure you do not use """" My Georgia Plumber""""! Yes, they came out in 24 hours but they spent less then an hour to clean my sump pump but ended up charging me over $360!!!! I could see maybe an hour fee of $95 to $200 tops, but really! Anyway, the next day my basement flooded again. They sent someone out and tried to charge me another phenomenal amount. I refused as they already did nothing to fix the problem yet had the nerve to try and charge me another fee. The Manager never called me back after numerous attempts to communicate with them. My suggestion is to find ANOTHER Plumber In Georgia.

We had GA plumber out to install our dishwasher and had a great experience, so we called to have minor work on our shower done. The technician that came was friendly, but smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and was coughing all over my house without putting his hand over his mouth. My husband was home with me and was watching him work, then the technician asked to use our flashlight(Came unprepared). My husband said he had also laid as part on our bathroom floor, with left a brown puddle on our floor, that my husband had to clean up. Once the work was done, he was still coughing, charged us $228, which I believe was outrageous for the work, and then left. I made sure to go around and lysol my house and wipe off all doorknobs and light switches. When sending out as technician, maybe check to see if it's a non-smoking home, and send someone that isnt going to leave my house smelling like a chimney. Once ag as in, he was nice, but the hygiene wasn't there at all.

On the first instance I was told that I had to remove the subfloor of my bathroom before anything could be done: reality is that the was ring of a toilet had to be changed. on the second instance the water heater leak transformed itself to something costing 1000th of dollars.

AHS sent out My Georgia Plumbers. Charged us $250 to come after hours for a back up. Diagnosed the issue as a root issue outside the house. Ended up getting a hotel for the night because they said they needed to bring out a camera. Got a 2nd opinion and the clog was inside the house and Royal Flush Plumbing was able to unclog immediately. I would not recommend My Georgia Plumbers and have notified AHS to remove from preferred vendors.

Just because the 3rd party didn't pay you doesn't mean you can take money from my account WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I will be filing a complaint with my bank.
