Trevor and Chandler were """"AWESOME"""", they were in and out in less than an hour. Extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I highly recommend My Georgia Plumber!!!! My Georgia Plumber also work in high rise buildings very well. They carry all Insurance neccessary that alot of high rise buildings are asking for these days!!!!

So update, to this company's credit, after I posted the previous review the owner of the company called me. He apologized for the poor service and promised to send a technician out the next morning who fixed the sink completely. He told me the shower valve was a more complicated problem but that they would honor the invoice and that they could fix the issue exactly as quoted. Again to the company's credit they sent out Robert (who is amazing and does exactly what he says he will) who fixed the shower valve perfectly exactly as he had initially assessed and quoted it. Now everything works flawlessly and I paid exactly what was quoted. This is much more than I can say from some other plumbing companies I have worked with in the past. The only reason I can't give the full 5 stars is because of the fiasco that happened on the first service date when they assigned a different plumber. So: Initial assessment and invoice 5/5 First service by different technician and resulting response 0/5 Company response to concerns 4/5 Company honesty in standing by their work 5/5 I have two recommendations: 1. Have the plumber who makes the initial assessment and invoice actually work the job instead of assigning a different plumber. (Robert assessed the situation correctly the first time and did an amazing job, Doug who was assigned the work after the first assessment was not up to either of the tasks and did not follow the assessment.) 2. Get a better answering service that listens to the specifics of the situation rather than insists on the """"emergency fee"""" regardless of the facts.

Great working with both James and Jason. Great communication. Took extra care in explaining the job and the new installation of our water heater. They worked to squeeze us into their already booked calendar. Very pleased with their workmanship and customer service.

Today i felt like i was ripped off on price to restore water to my house. A 30 min job replacing a 10inch piece of copper pipe to repair a hole in the line cost me 586.00. I had done all the dirty work of excavating the hole and i had to refill myself. So all the hard work was done by me. During covid19 you think you could give a little break. The tech was very nice and professional. But they are to pricey for what they did. Would not recommend

We preferred to pay $275 to another company rather than let these guys back in our house to do the job for free. It was free because it was covered under our home warranty. But after their first incompetent visit we preferred to pay out of pocket in full for another company rather than have My Georgia Plumbing come back into our home. We had to use My Georgia Plumbing because our home warranty required it. They spent an hour in our house trying to diagnose then fix the problem. We just had a clogged shower. That's it. Finally he said he """"didn't have the right tool"""" and would have to return. The office staff told me they would have to get approval from the home warranty company to come back out with a new tool. A full day later and they had not obtained the approval. Also, they told me it would cost an additional $200 because they had to go through the toilet and had to remove the toilet from the floor. There was one problem with that. The shower and the toilet pipes do not connect. Also, the toilets were not clogged. There was a one day delay in getting approval for them to come back because they said the home warranty company was not answering their phone calls. I called the home warranty company and they told me that the plumbers are supposed to enter everything online and the plumbers did not need to call them for anything. My GA Plumbing said they could return in three days with the correct tool. Instead of having them come back for free. We preferred to pay a reputable plumbing company. Plumb Doctor was able to diagnose and take care of the clog in under 20 minutes like real plumbers do. Look for my review of Plumb D Also, when you call this company on the phone the recording says that they used to be known as """"Michael's plumbing"""". You should take a look at the reviews for that company. I had a clogged shower! That's plumbing 101. No amount of excuses by them will change the fact that this company couldn't fix a clogged shower in under an hour, they wanted to get approvals from the home warranty company for additional charges to make the clog sound more complicated than it was, then wanted to charge me an additional $200 to remove the toilet to snake from the toilet except the toilet wasn't clogged! Their plumber's educated guess was that my cast iron pipe was collapsing in on itself. That was wrong. It was just hair. They said they had to come back with """"the right tool"""". All the job needed was a snake. Even after they obtained approval to come back to our house they said it would take 3 days to get back to us. Our experience was so bad with this company we canceled our home warranty contract. We wanted nothing to do with a home warranty company that partnered with companies like this. They said they can show me 180 positive reviews. If they have so many positive reviews, why is their overall rating so low?

We had a horrible experience with My Georgia Plumber. Technician wasn't the one they sent us in the photo to start with. He also showed up without proper shoe covers, gloves, or a mask. Our family is trying to practice proper social distancing practices and he proceeded to put his ungloved hands on several surfaces including the front door handle, walls, and stair bannisters even AFTER my wife asked him to be aware of not touching anything he didn't have to. When she then called him out for touching the stair railings for a second time he dismissed her and her concerns saying, """"what do you want me to do?!"""". When we followed up with the management at MGP we were told they didn't have to follow CDC guidelines because """"Kemp said they didn't have to."""" Just a class act all around. MGP was sent to us through our home warranty policy and we will now be forgoing that policy to use plumbers and heating specialists we have used before and trust. And all this after they posted a COVID safety message on their Yelp page! (See picture) Please don't use these people if you value your health and safety.

We had to deal with an incorrect diagnosis which resulted in our home warranty denying the claim.  I had to fight with the home warranty to get a second opinion and thankfully we got one from another company.  Not to our surprise: 1.The diagnosis was wrong and unless he had xray vision, did not perform any diagnostics or have pictures to prove his reasoning.  2. The service fee for a permit of $275 for the repairs in our county was more than a 700% mark up!  The permit costs $38. 3. The plumber said our ejector pump had no turn off valve or check valve.  A lie..the plumber today showed us where it was and explained that we had no required code updates that needed to be performed. 4. The water heater.. we asked about upgrading to a 50 gallon tank... Their plumber tried to blow that off and underplay the upgrade to only find out from our plumber today that it is actually a $130 cheaper to go up using the contractors rate.   BEWARE!!

This review may change per their damage control. But so far, from billing to actual work, everything has been outrageously bad. Detail will follow if they don't fix mistakes and negligence by next week.

Very grateful for the service & timely manner in which the work order was able to be completed during this time...however, please do take into consideration the following... I WAS VERY UPSET THAT THE WORKERS... 1.) the workers upon entering our home did not wear gloves, (I gently tossed them each a pair ) and 2.) did not consider precautions by using the basement for access to complete any work during this very serious Covid crisis! Your attention to this matter is of grave concern to everyone, including your workers. Thank you. Sincerely, ~Kellie Abano
