AWFUL. Liars, unreliable, impossible to get in touch with. The receptionist gave me every single lie, excuse, and stall tactic she could think of. She literally even told me that the plumber was ""in a car accident"" it is like she is a pathological liar. I lost MONTHS of my life and THOUSANDS of dollars in rental income because she lied to me month after month. This lady is ruining this small business. I would not send my worst enemy to use this company. Every single time I was ready to throw in the towel she would tell me ""any day now, parts are almost here""

I have been using My Favorite Plumber for years now. I don't even think about who to call if I need a plumber. The back office is pleasant to work with. I can easily work with them on appointments that work for our family. Jose is usually the team member who comes to our home. Every single time he comes, he fixes the issue at hand. What I respect most is his ability to diagnose the issue. I have never heard from him ""we will just replace the whole thing."" Case in point, this morning, I had called him to diagnose a leaking shower. We had anticipated that a whole wall would have to be opened to fix leaking pipes. Jose came in, did a detailed evaluation of the issue and mentioned that it might just be a lose showerhead pipe going into the wall. His suggestion was to see if that fixes the issue first before ripping up walls. And sure enough, it fixed the issue. I am convinced other companies would have invoiced us for opening a wall first. Sure they would have fixed the same issue but at tenfold the invoice. A big thank you to the entire team! You are doing a great job and we appreciate working with you all.

We had two problems. We needed a toilet and vanity moved to install a powder room floor and a leak addressed. The plumbers arrived removed the toilet which they said was broken and couldn't be fixed (it worked fine before they arrived) and they cut a large hole in the kitchen ceiling. I have photos if you are interested. After an hour they left and didn't get back to me for weeks. I gave up and hired a terrific plumber who fixed the issues immediately. When I informed ""My Favorite Plumber"" that I no longer required their services, they sent me a a bill (without itemisation) for $792.50. I found the whole experience incredibly disheartening and unprofessional. ""Caveat emptor.""
There are plenty of great, hardworking plumbers in the area. This plumber is not one of them.

Called them in the evening. They said they would call early next morning for scheduling. Never called me. Called later in the day and the woman, Marybeth, said a plumber would arrive at my house 2-4 PM next day. Never showed up. Called back and got some more run around. No plumbers ever showed up ! ! I would suggest no one ever bother with this lousy company.

Excellent correspondence with the business by phone. A troublesome toilet and sewer gas smell ultimately resulted in a toilet replacement and seal repair. I worked with the same plumber the whole time, and he was continually prompt, professional, personable, and honest. Pricing was very fair, my new toilet works well, and my bathroom has never smelled better.

NO / Zero stars.
Repeatedly asked for estimate and I was foolish to continue waiting. After 3 months of excuses and initiating phone calls and emails I finally received a poorly and hastily written non-detailed estimate. I am now convinced there is no customer service at this place.
There are plenty of craftspeople who offer good service.
This is not one of them.

What a miserable little man. Thankfully he didn't make it past the initial estimate phase as, he came across completely disingenuous, grossly underbudget due to ineptitude, and is hugely argumentative. Maybe he is gold as a plumber - I have no desire to find out. It may benefit the company to get someone customer facing who doesn't have the personality of a dumpster fire.

This did not go well and I really wanted it to. We have home projects coming up and I needed to have a trustworthy, reliable plumber as part of those projects. I explained we had a leaking bathroom fixture that we were unable to resolve ourselves despite attempts. We wanted that fixed so it would quit wasting water and based upon how this job went we may consider this co. for bathroom reno work in the future. I explained that the bathroom was 18 years old but well taken care of and that we would be re-doing it in the not to distant future so we just wanted to repair the Kohler fixture for now. We scheduled an appointment to repair and I emailed pics of the fixture so they would be sure to have the correct parts on the truck and not waste my time or theirs having to make a second trip in case they didn't have what they needed. I knew it would be a small job for them and I was willing to wait to be fit in. The day of the appt. arrived and we were to be 1st that day. After 45 min passed and no plumber I called the office and got their vm. I left a message. No return call. I eventually emailed them and got a response back that they misunderstood my email and thought that I wanted pricing before they came out so they cancelled the appt.! While I did want some idea of cost and I did ask for that in my email at no point did I ask for a cancellation of the repair nor was I told the appt would be cancelled until they contacted me again with pricing! I wasted part of my morning on the no show plumber and never had any follow up on pricing from the business. The most interesting part of the experience was MaryBeth said they had not received any info back from Kohler.(implying that an inquiry had been made but Kohler was not replying) This was stated on the day the repair was to happen when I inquired about where our plumber was. The next day my husband contacted Kohler himself and explained the problem. They could not have been more pleasant, helpful and RESPONSIVE!!! We discovered that Kohler fixtures are guaranteed for LIFE!!!!! WHAT??? THE PARTS WERE FREE! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!! THE SHIPPING WAS FREE!!! And the rep spent a long time on the phone with my husband discussing the possible scenarios he might encounter fixing it himself. GO KOHLER! We eventually were able to fix our own leaking faucet and all it cost us was a little time. We wish My Favorite Plumber all the best. Unfortunately they will not be our plumber, favorite or otherwise.

Contacted them through email and explained my problem. I wanted an idea of what it would cost and asked them what their rates are. I'll never know because they decided that the best way to handle the situation was to ignore me. Very unprofessional! Judging by my experience with them along with the other reviews here, they force you to move on and find a better plumber which in the end works out for the best.
