i agree with all these reviews oh my god i thought it was me im just like yall my home warranty send them out so now i need to jump on them i got a hvac system install in july 2024 turn the heat on it doesnt work vinny says we dont turn heat on in the summer so u wouldnt of known if it work bull shit its a new system suppose to be not i have to pay another 125 for someone to come out we have to stop supporting people thats ripping of us our hard earn money bad views is not getting it im going to the media im going to tell everybody and everyone who listens its not fair and its robbery lets stand together so im force to add a star to leave my review leaving any stars is not my choice i say zero
Sherese B.The Receptionists/Call Service Rep is rude dishonest and not flexible.I have needed to reschedule due to my schedule and travel.Realizing this is an inconvenience to the business I've called to cancel and we made another appointment. They did not show or call for that appointment.I called and left messages to determine what occurred with my appointment.
She refused to listen,talked at the same time I was speaking,was disrespectful and even said they called and came to my home. I have a security camera and they did not. I've used them previously with no problems but am disappointed and would not recommend
them.
I called My Cousin Vinny because my tub was leaking at the spout. Do not use this company. They told me I needed a new one for $4800. I received a second opinion, and it was only necessary to seal the tub faucet. They have poor customer service.

I am currently on the phone with AHS (I don't recommend dealing with these people either). The owner came out to my house 7/16. Looked at my unit for all of 3-5 minutes and stated I needed a brand new ac/heating system. Tells me it'll be a few days but I'll hear from AHS by the end of the week and to check my spam for information on an upgrade program. 7/19 my partner calls the business & gets told by Emily that she was affected by the windows update but that she would call the authorizations department to get it worked out but that AHS isn't trying to approve their diagnosis (DUHHHH IT'S JUST A LEAK ! I DON'T NEED A NEW UNIT). I'm also confused because they were at my house prior to the windows issue and I know I saw them leave a reply on another platform telling a customer that they submit their diagnosis reports same day (LIES). 7/22, I notice nothing updated on my account but it was after hours so I called AHS on 7/23. They reach out to her and she tells them she's currently on hold with the authorization department. 7/25 (today)- she had the nerve to tell AHS that she can't get it approved because they called her to check the status. Now, I didn't ask AHS to call a 2nd time so that's on AHS but you had over a week, Emily. Over a week. My house is hot. I have 2 small kids in here, one of which has asthma and AHS won't pay for anything I do out of pocket because Emily and or the owner won't submit the paperwork. And instead of calling and apologizing or SUBMITTING THE PAPERWORK, I bet I'll just see some snarky response on here. Company is ZERO stars. Not the 1 star that I was forced to give.

My home warranty dispatched this company to come fix my sub pump. I was to receive a call to schedule an appointment that I have not received til this day. I made my service request on a Saturday and expected a call on Monday to schedule an appointment, but rather, while I was at work a gentlemen showed up to my house without an appointment and of course no one was home. When he called me I advised him that I hadn't heard from anyone to schedule the appointment and he said he would have someone do so. The next day I still didn't get a call, so I called them and when I told them I hadn't gotten a call to date she told me ""well our record shows someone scheduled an appointment with your husband for 2pm"" yesterday.
I let her know that could not have been the case, because I do not have a husband. Furthermore, my father would not have made an appointment for a time he is scheduled to be at work. Even after that she didn't make an attempt to actually assist me by scheduling the appointment. Rather, she transferred me to the owner who insisted he scheduled the appointment with my father. Again, rather than scheduling an appointment so I may get the work completed he continued to shift blame. I advised him of the same that I advised his representative and he told me ""I talked to 3 people about sub pumps yesterday, I don't remember."" Ultimately, we scheduled an appointment without an apology for the confusion nor accountability for the mix-up. However, I called my father and conferenced him into the call to further assert that no one spoke with either of us and again no apology no accountability.
It left a very bad taste in my mouth, so I looked them up and low and behold the reviews confirmed my fears. This company is janky to say the least. I canceled my appointment and opted to pay out of pocket to a reputable company I've used in the past. I don't want such characters in my home nor on my premises.
This is the worst experience I have gotten with a service company. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING.
We were scheduled for 8am to 10am. My tenant was for this repair to go to work. At 10:19 I called them to express my frustration that someone is running late for work and find a better time.
The owner (Vinnie) was very dismissive, unprofessional, rude and arrogant. He had no intention of listening what I had to say or have any consideration that someone is missing work.
This was Vinnie response: you have 3
Options.
1. You wait for the tech to get there. (Which ended up being an HOUR LATE.)
2. We reschedule and I will need you (me) to be there.
3. You cancel the work order, I DONT NEED YOUR BUSINESS.
We ended up cancelling the service order.
After all this the tech called at 10:50am saying he is on his way.
Instead of honoring their commitment, they were very late, had no consideration on any one else time, cancelled, and was dismissive.
The LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM is beyond me.
Do NOT give this company any money. Look at the other horrible reviews on this failing company. Do NOT trust this company!!! This company is unprofessional they do not come on time and they will lie to your face to prolong the job and charge you more.
You talk to the owner vinnie on the phone but then he sends out different plumbers who don't know what the hell they are doing at all!! He never comes out to help with the fixes. The First person they sent out used a small snake and couldn't get the clog, second person came out 2 weeks later to try to use the same damn snake, The plumber told me he couldn't fix it, he needed to go smoke a cigarette break & needed to talk to his manager about what to do next and he leaves. I should've seen that as a red flag but I let it slide. Then The company charges me $825 in advance saying they will come out to finish it but didn't fix anything!!!!!! then I had to call the company again to ask them why haven't they fixed it. I haven't been able to use my kitchen sink and I have a newborn baby whose bottles I have to wash. So after calling multiple times I finally get someone on the phone & Vinne says it's gonna be another $300 to jet the line. Why didn't you call me to let me know this after I paid you $825? I said no, I want a refund because it doesn't even sound right... Now the total cost is up to $1375. Len the plumber came out and fixed the damn drain with a 50 foot snake for $300.
This cousin Vinne company completely scammed me and charge me $825 for not one fix at all. after two months of inconvenience They refuse to give me a refund because he needs to pay the crackhead plumbers they sent out that don't know what they're doing. This failing company does NOT care about its customers and I will never ever recommend them to anyone on this planet. They need American home shield warranty companies to even bring them any business. They will not be successful by doing business this way. Look at the other horrible reviews on this company and the owner.

They were supposed to fix my flue and took three weeks of repeated phone calls to my landlord and to them and they drug there feet with the repair and then got smart with me. Would not recommend.
Unfortunately was required to use this company to get my home warranty benefit. I had a broken water heater. 11 days after visiting, they finally submitted the service report to the warranty company. We called multiple times before then, and each time was told that the report was submitted and we were waiting for the warranty company to ship the hot water tank. That was not true. I ended up paying for another company to replace.
My home warranty dispatched this company to come fix my hot water heater. I was told they would call 24 hours after dispatch to schedule the appointment. They never bothered to contact us for an appointment. Their website and FB page claims that the are open 24/7 so I gave them a call on Saturday morning and no one answered and they have not returned my call. Called another company and they were at my house within 2 hours to fix my hot water heater.
Please save your money and time and hire someone else because clearly My Cousin Vinny could not care less. Yes I ended up paying more money hiring some else (not affiliated with my home warranty company) but at least my family has hot water again!
