I had a clogged kitchen sink and broken garbage disposal, called My Buddy The Plumber, and was able to have someone at my house within 24 hours of calling. Eric M was the technician that fixed my garbage disposal, and was super friendly, knowledgeable, and installed it really quickly. Will definitely be using them again in the future for any plumbing needs.

Awesome and Fast (That was my initial response). However after digesting the invoice, I would not recommend their service based on how much they charge. I had a water leak coming through my ceiling. I cut out a 3x3 section of drywall, identified the leak, placed a plastic sheet on the floor and had it ready to go. The technician arrived and spent about 30 to 40 minutes working to repair the line. He cut out 18"" of pipe, used 2 fittings and installed 18"" of Pex. Total cost $555 (I did get a discount for writing a Google review). I called the next morning and explained my concern and was told ""That is what it costs to have a licensed professional fix your pipe."" The service itself was good as they responded quickly, the technician was very nice and the work so far appears to be good. Simply put, Overcharged for basic plumbing service.

Had them do furnace replacement at a rental. Did a credible job, but left a gap in the floor where they enlarged an opening to get the furnace in. Said they would come back and fix it. Billing office called to collect final and said they had gone back and completed repairs. Renter later told me they never heard back and had repaired it themselves.
Had a different company do a service for me while I was waiting to hear on the completion of that one. I will be using them going forward.

They are the rockstar there! At least Tyler Lowry was! A guy my age and know all about water heater and softener inside out. Giving good solutions and understanding the violation codes. Price was much better than SameDay offering and honesty was a good thing I can feel from him. Great technicians good people. Very patient to explain how everything works to new home owner and I'd give a 6 stars if I could! If you call. Ask for Tyler to service you!

John is great... knowledgeable and friendly. He came out to look at our old boiler. Turns out it was a quick fix but he was happy to explain things to me and provide suggestions for things to keep an eye on down the line.

First time I used these guys was for a drain clog, Savin arrived and quickly took care of the problem. He was very professional and courteous.
So when I come back from a five day trip to a freezing home, furnace out, on New Year's Day, I called My Buddy. They were able to get me someone within the hour on NEW YEARS DAY! Impressive! Sean was most helpful and spelled out the various options I had for my furnace. The next day Kory and Kasey arrived promptly at 9am, new furnace in hand and ready to get to work. The install took 7 hours, but these guys were diligent and committed to the job, plus gave a few friendly pets to my dog Cody :). They were both very professional and easy to work with. My Buddy is top on my list for any repairs I will ever need! The team they have created there is really exceptional! Thank you!!

We arrived to my dad's place for a long ski weekend at 10pm and the house was 38 degrees (clearly a broken furnace)! We quickly realized we needed a repair man to fix this to be able to stay here and after calling late at night we were promised to get a repairman out the next day. John showed up the next day (an hour earlier than promised) and quickly got us up and running. Saved the ski weekend and we're now warm & toasty. Thanks John!!!

Technician was supposed to show up between two and four. Never showed. I called the office repeatedly. I was assured Erik was just finishing up his previous job and on his way. Then I was told a supervisor would get a hold of Erik and call me back right away. 3 1/2 hours later still waiting with no follow up from the office.

Definitely NOT your buddy. Waited 2 days for an appointment, then they cancelled 20 minutes before, cuz someone called in sick. (They don't plan for that...no one's ever called in sick before? Seriously?) Strike 1!

After explaining it was urgent, they said they'd try. I got a call from Aaron 4 hours later saying ""I'm out front"". (He had left a voicemail saying he was on his way when I was in a cellular dead spot). Strike 2. I dropped everything and drove 20 minutes to meet him. Aaron explained my shower valve was so old, it couldn't be fixed. Claimed the boss won't let them even attempt to fit them. (Hmmm...sounds fishy). Said my only option was to have them go in from the wall behind it, and replace the entire shower valve for $2100!

He was very high pressure, and wanted me to schedule immediately. I told him I had a 2nd opinion coming in an hour...and suddenly his price dropped to $1500. Strike 3. Told him I'd get back to him.

Neering's showed up on time, said he could fix it. (TV pitch line is ""My Dad Can Fix That!""). Had me shut off the water. He replaced the main ball valve and the mixer valve, and told me to turn the water back on just 23 minutes later. Worked perfectly, and for a fraction of the cost ""My Buddy"" was gonna take me for.

As with any home repairs, go with multiple estimates from OTHER plumbers, and go with your gut feelings. And don't stand for high pressure ""can't be fixed"" tactics.
