I sent a message on Thursday night thru his website as requested. He called me back Friday morning and came out that day to help us. Our propane had been shut off and after turning it back on we couldn't get the pilot to stay lit on the water heater. Mike was straight to the point, professional, ran a test after doing some cleaning and tinkering, walked thru the options and the approximate prices, and came back Monday with a new water heater which he installed. I didn't expect this kind of service as I know his skills are hard to come by on the Island and he is extremely busy. Can't thank him enough.

Had a pipe in our basement start leaking and called what seemed like all the plumbers on the island. Mike was the only one who was willing to squeeze us in even though he was super busy. The fix ended up being a pain because of where the pipe was located, but Mike found a solution, fixed it quickly, and charged a fair price. Highly recommended!

Mike at Mutiny Bay Plumbing is, simply, the best. We've always been so happy with their responsiveness, professionalism and competence. But, today, we had a plumbing emergency that required us to turn off the water--while we had five young grandchildren, six children and friends visiting from out of state. All I could imagine was the disaster with no bathrooms, etc. Mike showed up late in the day and fixed the problem. Bless him! We feel so lucky to be clients of Mutiny Bay Plumbing. Had a pipe break in the wall. Was in a bit of a panic because I really needed it fixed. Called Mutiny Bay in the morning and talked to Alan. He said they'd try to fit me into an already busy day. Called around to a few more plumbers and couldn't reach anyone. Called Alan back and he said he didn't know when they'd get to me, but guaranteed he or his boss would show up before the day was out. Alan showed up at 3pm, and efficiently and affordably fixed my problem. Would definitely use Mutiny Bay Plumbing again.

Mike was an amazing guy!! He came on a late Friday afternoon and stayed until the job was done. He was reliable and honest! Thanks to Mike, we had a great weekend and had a functional bathroom!

Some plumbing jobs can be a dirty nasty job that nobody wants to do. Thankfully some people get right in there and do them anyway. Mutiny Bay plumbing totally made my day (week?, year?) by fixing my disgusting plumbing problem. It can be hard to find a professional on Whidbey who isn't on island time. These guys called me back right away and came out that day to solve by backed up drains. Mike noticed that the issue was not as simple as just unclogging the pipes (it rarely is) and, although he wasn't excited about the nasty job ahead, he urged me to get the problem fixed properly. He was out just a few days later to cut out the old pipes and reinstall them the way it should have been done the first time.
Bottom line: these guys are professional and timely and good at their jobs. Thankfully we have a local plumber worthy of our dollars.
