I hired Musso a little over a year ago to snake my kitchen line. They found a blockage leading the septic tank and said they needed to replace the one and a half inch line from the house to the Celtic tank with another 1 1/2"" line. They added 2 angles, one of which is a black flex angle fitting. When I had the Plummer's out yesterday they evaluated the issue and confirmed that the new line Musso added was NOT to code. A 3"" line is required for outdoor plumbing. Musso charged me $2,000 for a job poorly done. I also had to fix my garden and replacing numerous plants, another huge expense. Because of their shoddy work, I'm having to pay for it all over again. Musso sent someone to my home on Wed who quoted me $375 to snake the line, I said no way, found another Plummer who did it for $75 and he found the poor workmanship from Musso to be the culprit. I do not recommend Musso for plumbing of any kind.

Beware! Terrible company! They took $1200 from me to insulate pipes under my house and only did one pipe. They never thought I would find out. Now I have to go to small claims court!

do not hire musso plumbing unless you like 2 be taken advantage of & over charged ! the technician called his boss, & got & estimate over the phone hahhhaaa , never heard of this $3400 ! reluctant & needing 2 get the plumbing fixed , I agreed ! they came out the next day ! they dug up the lawn & put a camera through the pipe , showed me a still , blurry, camera view & told the whole pipe is shot ! they said it needed 2 be replaced but would cost & additional $5600 on top of the already $3400 ! I felt like I was backed in a corner with my lawn torn up , & supposed 2 be professionals telling me it has 2 be replaced ! they tear the rest of the yard accept for 5-6 ft in the middle ! something seems offf , I signed a contract 2 get the whole pipe from foundation to the sidewalk replaced ? they finish the job & the head technician tells me that 5 -6ft of pipe was still in good shape so they didnt replace it ! So I contact management to tell them that I wasn't happy about the situation & felt like I was taken advantage of ! I thought I should atleast get a savings for not having 2 ecscavate the 5-6 feet , pull the pipe , fill with stone ! after a week of back & 4th with the manager , they finally get a different story 2gether & say that they put the new 4 inch pipe through the old 6 inch pipe & just think of it as insulation ! dont be taken advantage of like me & go with a different company !

After providing an estimate they came out to replace my tub. I asked them not to replace the tub if the tiling isn't replaced as well. The technician said he'd have someone reach out to me. He left with the tub halfway installed, a hole still in my wall.

After multiple calls to the person that was suppose to reach out to me, I called Musso plumbing back. They told me since is wasn't stated in my contract I was on my own.

I lost tenants that were renewing their lease because they were unable to shower for weeks.

They charged my card the full amount even though the job wasn't complete. I still have parts of the bath kit on my floor.

It's almost impossible to get another company to come out and finish the job that Musso plumbing started.

I would highly recommend you DO NOT choose Musso Plumbing. I will be contacting the BBB.

Update: I contacted the BBB and Musso Plumbing responded back saying I signed a customer satisfaction form which is a complete lie. They lack business ethics.

They even left a nice note on the box because they were suppose to come back and finish up

We recently bought a home, and of course immediately had plumbing problems. We had Musso come out, and they charged us over $2,800 to fix a drain in the basement. In the process, they had to disconnect and move our hot water tank. When the job was done, they reconnected the tank and left. Well, now we have no hot water! Call them back-up they want $1600. to put in a new tank. We told them the tank was only 2 years old and there should be nothing wrong with it, and the tech's response was, ""It's way more than 2 years old, it's all rusted out."" We went to Lowe's, bought a tank for $394. and replaced it ourselves. What do you know, there's not a spot of dust anywhere on the old tank, it really is only 2 years old, and it shouldn't have just stopped working. I think the tech broke the tank and then denied it to make more money on us. I will never call them again!

I'm confident that any positive reviews you see here will be after some simple ""snake out the pipe"" job. Anything beyond that and you cannot trust them. They wrote up our job and then wrote something very different for the town permit. The town inspector came and approved what they did given what they told them, BUT, they never intended to fix the problem they were hired for! For $6800 they never even opened the section of pipe that contained the problem!
We are now suing them and they do nothing but delay and blow smoke. Musso had to hire a ""fixer"" whose sole job is handling all the bad reviews and law suits.
We have been told that the town of Tonawanda will not give them permits any more.

Thank you Don for the excellent service. Don came right out to unclog my sink drain and he did an excellent job! Very professional, he took time to explain everything and left my kitchen clean when he finished. I would high recommend Musso and definitely recommend Don!

Got Ripped off! Not happy at all! Was headed out of town when I noticed the sewer was backing up. Called them and made an appointment. First the guy was late. Then when he came he showed me the what the price would be. So I'm thinking he's going to give me the royal treatment for that price $700. NO! I was wrong. First he tried to run the snake in by hand. And clearly it wasn't working. So I asked why not use the machine. He says it was broken and he had to run get another one. Over an hour into the job that I thought would've been half hour hour at the most. He comes back at the little over two hour mark puts the snake in again and again he's trying to do it by hand. WTF! So I ask about the machine again then he sets it up but feeding the snake in the machine from the wrong end. So I tell he this and he corrects it. Smdh. Then he only put in 30' of snake. So I ask what if the blockage is further down the line then that. And he gives me the BS that he hit it when he was doing it by hand. So finally got lucky so I thought at the three hour mark. And of course I had to call them back the next day for the same issue. For 700 damn dollars they should've ran the snake to the street or at least ran a camera through the line. I lived in Michigan and for the same job would've ran less $200. I won't be calling them or suggesting them to anybody!!!!!

After writing this review I was contacted by someone in the company to discuss my bad experience. From what I gather I didn't have a bad company just a bad technician.
I am glad to see that the company cares about its reputation and that we came to a resolution. For that I gladly change my rating.

I would give zero stars if I could. This company is a giant RIPOFF. I used them about a year ago to snake my sewer and it cost me about $140, which I thought was reasonable. Because the price was fair last time, I decided to call them again to have the sewer snaked again this year. The woman I spoke to on the phone told me that there would be a $60 charge if the technician came out and I didn't purchase any services. I figured that was fine because I planned on having the drain snaked. Well the technician came out and told me it would be $440 to have the drain snaked!! Are you kidding? Of course I wasn't going to pay that amount so I turned down the service and was left with a $60 bill. I will never call this company again. I wish I had checked the reviews on here before I called. No wonder they have so many poor reviews! I own multiple rental units and would have been a long time repeat customer, but now I will take my business elsewhere. Apparently they'd rather have $60 instead of a repeat customer. Poor business choice if you ask me.

I saw the owners respond to another customers review saying ""We do not give estimates over the phone. We send our expert plumbers and/or technicians to do an onsite evaluation at your location before pricing is given out. This gives you the most complete solutions and pricing"". This is a bunch of BS they could easily give prices over the phone, the technician that came out to my place showed me their rates on a piece of paper. They dont give prices over the phone because they want to send a technician out so they can charge you $60 if you dont purchase any services.

It's almost comical to see all of the 1 star reviews on yelp, google, and facebook. This company won't be around much longer at this rate. Do yourself a favor, read their reviews and avoid this company at all cost.
