Mark was recommended by a leak detection vendor for an outdoor leak they located. We dug it all out to try and keep costs down, but he turned a one hour job into three hours including billing me for his hour lunch he took while he left a hair dryer to run and cure the seal. Total cost ended up being $371.00 which didnt even seem ethical for the work performed. Would NOT recommend for this reason.

Mark at Murrayhill Plumbing is professional, friendly and thorough. I had an emergency with my garbage disposal and sink leaking. I called around to a few different plumbers and most were booked out days if not weeks. Mark squeezed me into his schedule and came put the next day. He came prepared for the worst and I'm so glad he did! I needed a new garbage disposal and pipes replaced. I'm so impressed with his work. His rates are reasonable and his work was thorough. He even cleaned up before he left.

These guys are wonderful and efficient! Mark, the owner, showed up ahead of schedule to meet our desired timeline. He and Patrick are knowledgable and personable. Challenging job with the leak under concrete. He carefully sought out the leak, found it, while cutting away some decorative concrete. What impressed us was the level of care Mark and Patrick demonstrated with the removal of concrete steps....so much so that we believe we can patch the steps down the line and not interrupt the esthetics of the existing concrete surrounds. VERY fair price for over four hours of hard labor. Confidence in the work performed, good communication and great work. We will definitely use them again!!!

Only good thing I can say was the plumber responded quick. Our washer drain was plugged. The plumber came and tried running a snake down the vent line on the roof. All this did was cause mud to come up from the drain and all over our laundry room and kitchen floor. Then the plumber had to go back to the shop and get a longer snake. Charged us for the time to get the longer snake, at $94 an hour, and charged us $75 for power auger. Which I believe should have been included in the price. All together, to snake one drain was $335. I have used Roto Rooter in the past, and they quoted a price up front, ran a camera down the line, and guaranteed their work. Unfortunately we went with who could come the quickest. I will never use, or recommend Murrayhill Plumbing to anyone, not at their prices.
