I was in a bind with a propane leak in my log lighter valve to my fire pit. Ryan and his partner were the only ones who could come out late that same day which was a Thursday, to check out the situation. Other plumbers couldn't come out for a week so I was more than appreciative for their quick response time. I had the flu and we needed heat in our house and this was not a safe situation. Normally I would tackle this job myself, but not knowing exactly what I would find with the concrete encased pipes, I opted to go with Murray Plumbing. Glad I did. Nice guys, fair price, good job and quick service.

Owner (I assume) answered my call at something like 7pm on a Friday night and I caught him at the gym. I was pleasantly surprised he answered. As I tried to describe my problem he rather crassly interrupted me and said he doesn't fix dishwashers as I was explaining my dishwasher is brand new and wasn't even the problem, but the water supply TO it. He said he'd call me back after he left but never followed up either that night nor the next day. Overall felt it was a borderline rude and dismissive interaction.

This is fantastic customer service and a great value. They were incredibly responsive in that I had a kitchen faucet leak and tried to call many different plumbers as I needed it to be fixed fast. They returned my phone call immediately and scheduled me that day.

This could have been a day from hell, but Shannon from Murray Plumbing was so great to work with. He wasn't able to fix my problem, not his fault but tried very hard to fix it. When we realized someone else would need to come for Septic Tank work he waiting around a few minutes to listen to the other company and what they were telling me to make sure I was spot on. This kind of customer service or just helping a fellow human is rare these days. I appreciate this kind of service!

Made an appointment for two small water leaks in the basement and install two main shutoff ball valves to the house that I purchased in Pollock Pines. First appointment was not successful because (Ryan) the plumber was sick. The company called me in advance to let me know he wasn't able to make the appointment. That saved me a lot of time with my schedule. Called weeks later to reschedule and he did the job as requested. He installed 2 new ball valves, one outside off the main he replaced and the other under the basement. While they were at it, he advised to replace the old pressure regulator and then he fixed the small water leaks. Total time 4-5 hours. He was efficient, reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable. Price was reasonable and he gave me good advice about pipes freezing up in the area. He also informed me about the pressure release valve on the hot water heater that most forget to drain. I'm new to the area at Pollock Pines and that made me feel welcomed that you can trust his company and honesty. I'm glad he fixed those leaks (possibly from pipes freezing up), and especially the hot water advice. I'd definitely recommend calling him for your plumbing needs.

Calling a plumber is no fun because it means you're in a tough spot (and I won't use the s-word because that's too easy). I have only had to call twice, but each time I have needed help, Ryan and his team member are able to come out fast. Ryan and his team are friendly, respectful, are on time, and they are awesome. He's honest and his pricing is great. After working with them twice now, I don't even google ""Placerville plumber"" anymore; these guys are my first call, and this is the first plumber I recommend to my friends.
