Just...wow!

As typical a situation, I attempted to hang a chandelier and somehow messed it up.

I had heard their ad on 92.9 The Drive and thought I would give them a shot at fixing my screwup and also do some other electrical work I needed done at our home.

They claimed in the ad that ""when you're in a hurry, call Murray"". Well, they delivered! I called around noon and they were at our home by 2:30!!

The electrician listened to what I needed done, did the work completely and professionally, and the price was very reasonable.

I strongly recommend their service and have no hesitation of using them again...especially if my wife wants another chandelier hung.

Murray came out to find a break in the main feed to my house. Before they came out I told them exactly which feed had the fault. After a few hours of using their locator equipment they gave up and told me I should run new feeds to the house at a cost of $2000 and charged me $142.50 for the weekend service call. I then called the electric company who came and located the break immediately for free. I called Murray and asked for a partial refund since they provided no added benefit and they didn't get back to me so I filed a complaint with the bbb who ruled in the businesses favor (the business still has an A+ rating with the bbb). So I fixed the break myself for $70. If you want ""professional"" service I would look elsewhere.

My lights, electronics, and appliances had all been blinking on and off for a couple of weeks in my house. Finally, it got to where it was happening every day, so I decided to call Murray Electric company to have them come inspect my house to determine the problem. The technician arrived at the scheduled time and was very knowledgeable about electrical issues. He did a full inspection of the inside of my house. He checked all the light fixtures, the outlets, and then opened up the breaker box. He discovered that I had one leg of the power coming in that was too low on voltage and one leg of the power that was coming in too high on voltage. He told me that was a PSO issue and to call them.
Subsequently, I did call PSO, and they came out and fixed the problem free of charge. I have been using Murray Electric for about 3 years now, and they always arrive on time and perform professional and courteous service for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done at their home or business.
