Bought a house and needed new heater/ac. I completely renovated the house so I also needed new ductwork. Jeff from Murphy's came out helped me reconfigure and lay out the new ductwork and heater/ac unit in the basement so I'd have more open space in the basement. In under a week Murphys came in ripped out and replaced all the ductwork and new extremely efficient heater/ac. The men working for Murphy were clean, professional and well trained to perform any task they might encounter (dealing with renovations, you always run into unexpected problems) but they were well equipped and capable. Their price for all the this work was under what I set aside for this project and was under the other estimates I got. Very good company. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend.

We needed an emergency repair in the middle of a rainstorm. On a weekend. They were clear about their availability. They came when they said they would come. The plumber was professional and efficient and cleaned up very carefully.

Our technician was great, gave me a fair price up front, did the work in no time at all. Ver friendly and professional

This is our second time using them, and they will be our go to plumber in the future.

Highly recommend!

came home from vacation to find my first floor had approx 1in of standing water coming from the toilet base. Murphy's responded to a call to their emergency line at 1045pm on New Years Eve. They had a plumber at my house by 11pm, he reamed out the connection to my sewer and by midnight we were back to normal. very impressed, very happy!

They left nails all over the floor in my garage. They filled my trash can with scraps from the repair including bricks, nails, debris, broken tools, broken glass, and other garbage.

I had to take everything out of the trash can by hand and put it in a bag since I live in Philly.

They also started to perform work OVER my car and didn't give me any chance to move it. It resulted in several scratches. Thanks guys!

I retract my previous review, mine was for a business in Iowa. Location looked similar glancing at the map. Terribly sorry for any inconvenience!!!!

I've got to say I'm surprised by their current low ratings here! They installed a new sump pump for me and, in addition, they hooked up my new natural gas grill with a flexible hose, quick disconnect, and associated fittings to hook up to my pre-existing 3/4 inch natural gas line on my patio while they were at my house on a follow-up call (for a reasonable fee).

Their sump prices were competitive with others but the job entailed several additional trips due to a blockage on the pipes shared with my gutter system. I had to get my main drainage system in my backyard jetted out by another company (they don't do that, unfortunately), but they got it fully working in the end (i.e., hooked up to the proper pipe instead of a temporary workaround) even though the drain jetting company wasn't able to jet out that particular pipe due to its narrow diameter (was potentially looking at calling yet another company to that could attend to that $$$$).

My experience with lots of these types of business is they want to (1) enroll you in some kind of plan and (2) charge you an arm and a leg for any work outside of the narrow scope initially entailed. I've found this to be particularly the case because I live in a pricey neighborhood.

They surely saved me a good chunk of change this time around. Beyond that, these people strike me as being unusually honest and fair.

After having this company install an AC in my home in 2012 -five years later I had a problem and all they did was give me attitude and were very RUDE. They had and have no interest in taking care of their customer.
They have no idea what it means to take care of a customer if you are looking to use this company....DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to get a dryer vent installed and they quoted me $900!!!! I called Walshes plumbing and they did it for $450! Insane and gave me the feeling Murphy's made up a price seeing that I was a young single female homeowner. Will definitely never call them again and will be a loyal Walsh's customer forever.
