Our parents a/c stopped working and kitchen sink was leaking , they were the first one to respond and came same day , that was the only positive , afterwards everything started going down

No company signs on vehicle
Person that showed up was polite, but that's it
Polite robbery and incompetence at its best

Last couple of days , I am having seniors baking in 80 degree weather thinking maybe they are doing something wrong with setting the temperature

Anyway When we were expecting a diagnoses for $160 , He said he fixed the problem by adding 3 pounds of R22 refrigerant without running it by us first and even asking beforehand , basically avoiding to mention the cost of refrigerant and seeking our permission, so unprofessional and worse is said can only take $680 cash , gave us a sticker shock

But we paid thinking it was fixed , which definitely it was not

As for the leaking sink , he could not find the source , my parents pointed it out which was the water filter , another $100 for turning off the valve for the filter , not replacing but 'diagnosing'

We asked for receipt , handwritten note was supplied with no company header, no license information,

When we requested to stay and make sure temperature drops , "" it will drop and it takes a long time "" , they never checked back

Day after we are still at 80 degree , after paying $780 cash , this was a robbery from the elderly , abusing the elderly since they left them in a condition of excessive heat after taking their money

These people are not licensed and probably learning on the job ,

Absolutely not trustworthy , we called to request to come back and diagnose and fix properly, they never came back , probably too busy taking advantage of someone else

Ended up calling another company , it was the thermostat
