These guys need to get their sh*t together.

I called them yesterday morning to ask if they do service on a specific brand of AC.
After waiting on hold for literally 10 min (I wish I was kidding), they girl came back and said, ""yes - we do. But before I can set you up with an appointment I need your personal info and billing credit card.""
Ok.. seems reasonable enough.
Well, after another 10 min of repeating and repeating my info to a girl who simply wasn't listening, I was finally told that ""I was up on the board"" and someone else would contact me to set up the appointment.
Well as of this morning I hadn't gotten a call from anyone about scheduling the appointment, so I called them back.
When I spoke with the woman this morning I asked when I could expect my appointment.
She said, ""well you are up on the board... but wait a second. It says 'cancel.'""
What??
So after being put on hold she comes back and says, ""oh. The dispatcher says that she called and left you a message yesterday that we couldn't do it.""
Really? She called me? Funny, as I never had a missed call nor a vm.
And if she had already called me, why would my ticket still be up on their ""board?""
So I wasted a day waiting, and then got to be lied to when I called back....
These guys stink.

Do NOT hire these people for anything. All you get is a big bill and no repair. Spent most of the time he billed us for on the phone, then tells us our unit needs a new PC board which he will order and schedule the install. NOPE!!!!!!!!!! Never happened. That was FOUR WEEKS ago. I have made SEVERAL calls to them and been given lip service run around. I called the company and in 5 minutes got the part on order to be shipped directly to me. Stay away unless you like to just throw your money away.

This place is a joke. I called last night for Emergency Services and asked if someone could please call me in the morning. Our thermostat is broken and it's 82 degrees. No one returned my phone call in the morning, so I called again. The woman on the phone had no interested in our problem, but spent 5 minutes rattling off their outrageous ""diagnostic"" rate of $119, an ""upcharge"" of $80 in case it was after 5:00 pm, and then $39 every 15 minutes of labor, not including parts. Asked me name, address, etc. I asked if anyone got my message left on their ""Emergency 24-7 line"" and she completely ignored me and asked ""Ummmm, what town is that in?"". Declined their services which could have been Friday or Sat. (Today is Wed.) and tried elsewhere.

After calling the day before they came to my house without any notice and sat in my driveway for 30 minutes AND charged me for the time he sat there! He walked in to look at my water tank and gave me minimal advice with no estimate to be found 24 hours later. Would not trust nor recommend this company.

I called this company to come out and look at my AC because it wasn't running. I paid over $700.00 for them to come out the first time. They put in replacement coolent and replaced a part. They never told me the compressor was clogged. After calling them 3 times to try and schedule a return visit they finally came out and I was charged another $170.00 and I still did not have any AC. They told me I needed a whole new unit for upwards of $4000 and they would get me a written estimate which I am still waiting for a month later.
I called another company and they came out, told me exactly what I need. I showed them the invoice from Murphy's and they said I was taken advantage of.

Don't ever use this company.

I called to get a quote 3 weeks ago. I was told a sales rep would call me back. Two days later, I called again. Shortly after my second call, the sales rep Gary called and set up an appointment. He came out, was righteous and arrogant, telling me what I should do and why I shouldn't do what other companies suggested. Regardless, I listened, because after seeing some positive reviews, I thought I might be wrong. Two weeks later, I still don't have a quote. Never even heard from the guy. Needless to say, I took my business to elsewhere. Specifically A&L Heating & Cooling

When our furnace stopped working at 8 pm on a chilly night in November, Murphy's Heating and Air Conditioning came to our rescue. We had guests staying for the week in our rental and needed emergency service. Out of three heating companies we called, Murphy's was the only company to call us back and was able to fix the problem before 10 pm. Two months later our water heater died and my husband called Murphy's. They came out and replaced the water heater the same day! We are extremely impressed by the dedication and service of this company. We will be long time customers. Truly a great company.

We arrived at our home in Dennis in February to find a pipe burst. It was Saturday night and this is a 24 hour service, so we called and they arrived quickly. The pipe was replaced (over $500 for 1 1/2 hours of work, which was expected as it was Sat night) and the plumber put a valve to drain this area, which we were happy about. However, when he left, this drain was not working properly (it continued to drain with the water shut off, so we are not sure what it is draining). We are now unable to drain the pipes. We have called and sent emails to find out just what he had done, but no response from them. We now must pay another plumber to fix what they did. I would not recommend using them. They do not stand by their work.

I am so glad I called! With company coming for the weekend Murphys was able to unclog my toilet and sink in a hurry! They were priced competitively to others I had called but were able to accomadate my tight time schedule!

Great service -- even late at night! We found ourselves on the first night of our vacation in a rental cottage in Orleans without any heat on a freezing night in late October but managed to hook up with Brian Colucci at Murphy's Heating & Air Conditioning. Brian showed up on time, found the trouble, and was able to engineer a fix that kept us warm and toasty for the rest of our week's stay. He was both professional and personable and did a complete, thorough job, including finding a filter in the unit that needed changing. Great work and great follow-through! I can't recommend Murphy's and Brian highly enough!
