Do yourself a favor and call someone else. We had a leaky toilet and called Murphy and Sons on a neighbor's recommendation. Joe on the phone was helpful, but he sent Kevin to us (son, nephew perhaps?). First day called 90 minutes past the appointment time and said he was stuck in traffic. We rescheduled. Next day was an hour late. He and another guy replaced 2 toilets and put a fan to dry out our wet area. Said he'd return on Friday to pick up the fan. Never came until a week later when I called him bag. Ugh, felt like I was dealing with an irresponsible teenager and I just hoped he knew what he was doing. Well, 95 days later (warranty is 90 days by the way), my toilet is leaking again. Called Joe's main line twice and left messages, never got a return call. Finally have a new plumber here now and he found the toilet was installed and sealed improperly. I'm extremely frustrated I wasted time and money with this company. At the very least, if you hire Joe, insist on him and do not allow Kevin anywhere near your home.

PHOTO is after new plumber removed toilet. That pipe should be flush with the floor, but was about a half inch below. Kid was too lazy to get the correct part and install properly.

As a veteran of slab leaks (I've had 4) I knew what I was in for when I came home to a very wet limestone floor with water percolating up from the molding. I found them on Angie's List, where I was a visitor, looking for someone for an urgent repair of a shower faucet handle problem that made it necessary to turn off all the water.
Within fifteen minutes of arrival, the two plumbers had assessed and fixed the problem. The best thing was that they didn't take advantage of a naive person by claiming a major repair was necessary.

Called at least 5 plumbers and no one had availability on a Saturday. Murphy's came out in an hour and a half. Snaked the line, were very knowledgeable, fixed the issue quickly, were friendly and pricing was transparent before they came out. Will use them again.

Horrible! Joe is obviously very stressed and over worked. When he was initially contacted, he was very pleasant and the free leak detection was more than appealing! Unfortunately, it was all down hill from there. It took almost a month for the part to be made for the repair... truthfully, the part wasn't even ordered until I followed up with Joe 2 weeks after we heard nothing back from him. He became very rude unprofessional once his ego was hurt (which didn't take much). Joe was in contact with both the owner of the home and myself and the stories always seems to change. After he met with the owner, she was under the impression he was coming back at the end of the week to finish the job. I called to follow up on the date the owner stated and Joe flipped stating he never made such a comment and that the owner of the home did know what she was talking about. After a long discussion and extra effort in calming him down, I explained that I was just calling to find out the figure out a date to set an appointment. He tried to force me to apologize because he felt like I was calling him a liar about an appointment that he made... Weird. We ended that call with the knowledge that a part needed to be ordered and it would take about a week to be made. I tried to touch base with Joe once a week to follow up on the progress and date to schedule an appointment and it was always ""next week"" or ""I'll call you back"" those calls never happened. The only time he actually called me back is on the day of the appointment when I called to follow up. On the day of the appointment he didn't know if he was going to make it due to another call and said he was going to ""call me back"". After expressing to him that he has never once called back and this is now a little concerning, he stated ""oh yeah? I never called back?"" and hung up. I'll give you one guess what happened next... He called right back, just to prove a point. I had my hopes up and was VERY patient with this whole process but Joe just can't seem to get it together. Maybe because our bill was only $360 and he didn't see it as worth his time? The reason why I think that is even an option is because he stated that himself. ""Look, I'm not making much money off of this and I have other things I need to do. I'll call you when I have the part"" Which never happened... I have no idea how this guy has an ""A"" rating but I hope this feedback helps someone in the future.
