Excellent service. I have used Bill Murphy a few times for some plumbing issues. When my water heater was leaking, Bill came out exactly at the appointed time. All the work was done professionally - he even helped haul out my old water heater. Prices were more than fair. Would absolutely recommend him!

Bill has helped us with our boiler and some basic shower repair, and he is very pleasant to work with. He explains things clearly, gave additional advice on the rest of our plumbing system, and best of all, has been punctual and efficient. We are definitely planning to call on Bill for a couple larger projects in the future.

Bill is fabulous! I actually found him on Yelp when we had an emergency. He made an after hours appt for us that night and fixed our problem!!!! We then hired him to upgrade our ancient heating system. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Bill is fantastic! I first called him back in November to connect a new dryer. It's typical that contractors are difficult to get on the phone, much less come out for such a small job. But Bill was the complete opposite. He answered the phone right away, was polite and professional, and squeezed me in first thing on Saturday morning. When Saturday came, he was right on time (another rarity). He hooked up the dryer in a flash and even charged me less than he quoted since he finished so quickly.

Since then I've had Bill in for a number of projects:
* Connect gas dryer
* Connect dishwasher
* Connect refrigerator water line
* Replace gas water heater
* Move stove gas line
* Move water meter
* Separate water line for 2 units

He's always punctual and polite. His work is sterling, and his prices are fair. He's excellent at communicating. Bill always answers my calls or gets back to me right away, and he's great about using text messages.

After he installed my water heater I heard an intermittent beeping coming from my basement that I thought was the water heater. Turns out it was the old unused Verizon FiOS box. But before I knew that, I called Bill to ask if it was the water heater. He didn't think so, but was kind enough to call the manufacturer to ask and report back to me. He even offered to come over and look before I figured out the source. All of that for no charge!

When I had my new dishwasher installed, I had Bill connect the water supply/drain, but I needed an electrician to run a new circuit for it. However, I couldn't even get an electrician to answer their phone or return my messages! Bill was kind enough to talk to an electrician friend of his to convince him to come over and do it. Now that's service!

Bill is the only plumber I'll call and I recommend him to everyone!

I would highly recommend Bill the plumber for all your residential plumbing needs. Since purchasing our house this summer we have had Bill complete a few projects in our house. He has replaced an existing toilet with a new one, fixed an annoying running toilet, fixed a broken faucet, and installed our washer/dryer. He has been very responsive, punctual, and has very fair pricing compared to other plumbers in the area. This might sound small, but I love that Bill also uses text / email. It makes it so much easier to coordinate and his billing comes electronically. If we could give him 6 stars we would - we've had tons of people in / out of our new house the past few months and he has been one of the best to deal with.

I called Bill early asking if he had someone who could fix a broken kitchen drain. He said that he was currently working on getting a permit but would be able to come by around noon time. He called my as soon as he was on his way and was there before the agreed upon time. He called to explain what had to be done to fix the issue and an estimate on how much and how long it would take. He finished the job and charged me a reasonable price for the amount of work done. I would highly recommend him.

Bill came right over to take a look at my leaking kitchen sink. He was able to fix it within minutes.

Great prices and he was even able to recommend someone to fix the water damaged cabinet. I'll definitely be calling him for all my future plumbing issues.

Bill Murphy is the most professional, courteous and capable plumber I've ever used. His prices are also far more reasonable than the other plumbers who gave me estimates. When I told him he was priced far below his competitors, he just said, 'pls tell your friends'... Bill said he's focused on long term relationships, and word of mouth referrals. He has worked in commercial/industrial plumbing, HVAC for many years, and also new construction residential, and residential service. He does the work himself, and can handle anything. It was nice to feel like I didn't get completely ripped off! I've given his card to a bunch of friends already.
