Poor customer service: said they would call back and never would; said they would arrive at a certain time and then wouldn't arrive until hours later; and technician made inappropriate jokes. Now a year after the work they did to replace my main water line, I have no running water in my home and discovered that they put pex pipe underground, which is not sustainable for underground piping. The line has therefore been compromised under the rock and soil they placed on top and I have a major leak. I have to have my water line replaced all over again. Perhaps others have had a good experience with Mundin but I cannot in good faith recommend them given my poor experience and what I am now dealing with after their unprofessional decision making about the pipe use for the job.

My regular plumber (independent) was a little too busy and home advisor linked me to Mundin. Sarah immediately called and left a message about my request and I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day during the very small window of time I had available. We needed an upstairs sink unclogged (kid with braces + gummy wax + rubber bands = clogged drain). A small job, and the two gentlemen they sent out were friendly and made the experience comfortable and efficient. Would recommend.

Wesley and Holden were sent out today and were very courteous. It was a follow-up visit to cut into drywall and replace sink piping where galvanized piping had seized up and could not be successfully snaked on a previous visit. We removed two sink vanities ourselves to eliminate out of pocket cost, but there was some sort of miscommunication between the warranty company and the Mundin office and while in the middle of his doing the work, Wes was told to 'make sure to charge us the out of pocket charge.' He immediately checked with us, then he called his office to make sure we wouldn't be charged out of no-where. As for the job, it's clear they did the least dry wall cutting that they could to get the job done, which is appreciated. They had to do a store run to get some parts twice, but the job was done pretty quickly over all for a scheduled all-day job, maybe 4-5-ish hours not including the lunch break.

Sent by Dominion Power warranty for a leak in the basement. Drip was audible. Tech cut upstairs hole in wall for access and then cut 7 more holes trying to trace leak. After 4 hours and not identifying the source of leak, he said he didn't have any idea and his boss advised that it was impossible to find. I asked him to look behind shower knobs and he said it wasn't there. Later that evening I pulled the shower control knob and found the leak! They returned the next day and tighten the valve.

The problem lies in why the tech didn't leave the drywall holes he cut so that I could replace them?!!! I had to cut new drywall for 8, yes 8, holes and 4 wasn't ANY water pipes!

MUNDIN PLUMBING IS OUTSTANDING!!!! Marcus was extremely professional and very transparent in explaining the ins and outs of the work that was done. The master craftsmen that performed the task were very thorough and detailed in the job. My only problem is they do not have an office in NEWPORT News!!! I would definitely call them again!!! THANKS FOR A JOB WELL DONE.

I have a home service warranty and Mundin Plumbing was assigned the repair. Every single one of the service team members that were at my home were terrific. Their work is of the highest quality, maybe because they hire veterans!
I understand that the insurance company has a different agenda, so communication between myself, the insurance company and Mundin was somewhat confusing and vague. We worked through it though and I know would happily use their services again.

These people were completely unprofessional. They missed my appointment, and made it seem like it was my fault. No follow up calls after spoke with them. Poor communication...do not use their services. I'll be sure to write this on yelp, BBB, and any other online platform I can think of.

I cannot give Mundin Plumbing even 1 star, but I had to to get this to post. Worst plumbing company I have ever had doing work in my home. The well pump needed to be replaced. American Home Shield sent Mundin Plumbing to do the work. We chose to replace the wiring and tubing in the well. The plumber and Mr. Mundin said we needed a whole house filter. Mr. Mundin said he had never seen such rusty red water in his whole plumbing career. I said welcome to Stafford. That's why we have a $3000.00 water treatment system. Mr. Mundin says that we didn't choose to get the whole house filter till after the water was turned on. I don't remember it that way. But who am I, just a stupid woman customer. Anyway the whole house filter was installed at a cost of $1500.00. The pipes clogged because they didn't prime the pump before attaching it back to the house. What a mess of a nightmare started. No water to the In-law suit. Pipes springing leaks. Ceiling had to be torn down. Insurance claim had to be made. Water Heater had to be replaced. The whole house filter needed the filters changed. I could not budge the small cansters that held the filters. I noticed the whole thing was shaking. I looked behind it and discovered the unit was hanging on the wall with barely one screw attached. I called Mundin Plumbing to see how they wanted to handle the warranty. I got disconnected and now no one is answering the phone. I wrote an Email explaining everything and never heard back from them. I had to pay another plumber to remove the whole house filter. I hired a lawyer and took Mundin Plumbing to court. I was going after the cost out of my personal pocket. While in court, Mr. Mundin tried to pass off pictures of my bathrooms as before pictures of the new pump installation. My lawyer asked him the date of the pump installation and then she asked him what date the pictures were taken. He gave the dates and my lawyer said looks like these pictures are after the date of the installation. The Judge even mentioned to him that he was impeaching himself. Mr. Mundin lied about priming the pump. He said he ran the water thought the drain in the utility room. I was asked if There was a drain. I said I don't know, but I do now. There's no drain. He lied. The judge awarded me about a third of my expenses. Mundin Plumbing is appealing the court decision. Because, my husband has gotten very ill I cannot go through with the appeal. I can't afford to pay anymore lawyer fees and I don't know from day to day what's going to happen on the home front. Mr. Mundin, I hope you read this, because in the courts eyes you win, but in Gods eyes your a big looser. Karma is not a nice thing to happen. You will pay one day. Your kids don't hear what you say they act the way you do. MY MY wonder what your going to face in the future with them. With your D+ rating with the BBB you need to improve your costumer service. When it comes to business your wife is not your wife and you need to fire her and get someone in there who has the skills to deal with people. She's always in a meeting or on the phone with an insurance company. I was told several time Morgan will call in the morning. She never did. The last call I made The woman said she will call you back. I said no she won't she never returns calls. The woman that answered the phone said I don't know about that because I'm new. I said run, run very fast and find a new job. I'm done with you now Mr. Mundin. I just pray you never have to go through what you and your company put me through, but like I said Karma is just around the corner.
