When I called up there LANCE told me that's how a business works and that he understands that the majority of there customers are In desperate need of repairs so he understands why I was upset. Well my time of need in no way Justifies price gouging on your part. This is not the first time I've used them and never had a problem. I hope this is not their answer to surviving the corona rescission because if it is. They will not.
SCHEDULING PROBLEMS: I called and scheduled to have a gas line moved in my house. The morning of the day they were to show, the Tech (Jeremy) called me to see if I could meet earlier than scheduled time set. Told him I couldn't but I rescheduled for the next day. Tech told me he has opening at 10am. No show by 10:30 am, so I call main number. They then tell me it's anytime between 10 am and 1 pm. Told them they never told me its a range time. So then come 1:30 pm I call again and say where are you guys. I'm then told that they show my appointment to be sometime later that afternoon. To which I said ""YOU ARE FIRED""
This is a review for Mullin's septic pumping service. Scheduled Mullin to pump out our septic tank this past week. The septic tank is located in the backyard quite a distance from the street. The tech Jerry arrived and asked about parking in our driveway which is on the opposite side of our yard from where the tank is located thinking it might be a bit closer to reach with the hoses, but it really didn't seem that much closer and I prefer not to have heavy large industrial trucks in my driveway. Jerry sensed my discomfort and just pumped from the straight shot out to the street. Jerry did a very thorough job pumping out the septic from both access holes and washing down debris near the end with our garden hose to really get everything stirred up and pumped out. Afterwards, I noticed several large oil stains left out on the street from Mullin's pump truck. I am so thankful I did not have them park in my driveway! Pricing was competitive - they were a little more than another well know popular septic company - but that company told me I only needed to uncover one lid to have my tank pumped out - Nick at Mullin told me I should have both uncovered because even if they just pumped out from one side, they still need to check the baffle on the other side. So I preferred to pay a bit more and get a little more service. Overall excellent. However, I would suggest that Mullin service its pump trucks so as not to leak so much oil. This would not a 5 star rating if that oil had been left on my driveway!
One of their drivers in a big red van this evening ran up behind me doing well in excess of 80 mph, and when I tried to get over to the right and he went by and I gave him the bird at his very unacceptable and irrational driving then swerved over into my lane and made me jerk to the right hand shoulder. The driver then proceeded to drive off doing a VERY EXCESSIVE mph and sped off soon out of my sight. I got the phone number off the van and called. Spoke to someone. Didn't seemed too danged concerned. Whoever this is I would never use or recommend them if the condone this behavior of their people on the road!!! Unacceptable!
I put a review on here about mullins coming out and NOT doing anything to fix my fireplace yet charged us over $100.00 just for coming out. He lit the pilot light and was going to leave. We told him it would go out but he said it didn't matter because they don't work on fireplaces. After seeing our complaint on their website they called and said they would send a different tech out and fix it for free. Later they called back, I assume after talking to the first tech, and said they did not work on fireplaces with a wall switch. They said they would not be able to fix it but would give us our money back. It's been over 2 weeks and I am yet to see that money. They are thieves in my opinion.
Called Mullins, told them my fireplace would not stay lit. They sent a tech right out. Told the tech the pilot light would only stay lit for a few minutes then would go out. He lit the pilot then told me they did not work on fireplaces, only installed them. He then charged me $128.00 service charge. He left and out goes the pilot light. Biggest thieves ever, do not use them.
I called them to hook up our washer and dryer after we moved here. Plumber came out, hooked up washer but couldn't do the dryer because dryer was 3prong and wall socket was 4 prong. He was not electrician so he said he would tell office and they would send an electrician. He charge us $135.50 and we paid him...reluctantly. We asked for a receipt and he said office would email one...but they didn't. Next day the electrician shows up but di NOT HAVE THE PART he needed, even tho he knew why he was coming out. He then went to Lowes to get the part and CHARGED US FOR HIS TIME TO GO TO LOWES!!! He fixed the plug and charged us the ridiculous amount of $277.10 which we thought was TERRIBLE!!! We paid him and asked for a receipt and he, too said office would email one. They DID NOT!!
Next day, they had been scheduled to send plumber back out to replace 3 toilets and he DID NOT SHOW!! Girl from their office called to see if we still wanted him and I told her ""NO, we won't be doing business with them again"" because of their unethical practice, their high charges, and their being unreliable.
A week or so later, we got a bill for an additional $59.19 without an explanation! We called, got nobody who would help us but we were told someone would call. NO ONE CALLED!
Today, we received another bill for the $58.19!
We have mentioned all of this to our neighbors and they all say we should not have called them! I wish I knew that beforehand.
Do NOT do business with these people!!!
These people are the worst they did a job for the business next door to me I have a flower shop in Midtown Tulsa I was concerned with all of the noise and wanted to know how long it would take they told me that it would take just a few hours which was true they had five guys sitting around outside for just a couple hours then they left for a three-hour lunch came back said they had to come back in the morning never once told me not to use my bathroom by morning the city inspector was there to meet Mullins Plumbing at their request and instead was filling out citations because of course the up open uncapped sewage pipes that they left open we're spewing sewage from the toilets in the connecting businesses!
At this point everyone was calling and calling Mullins no one would answer the phone there was no excuse given on why they weren't there at 9 when they were supposed to be there was no excuse why the supposed few hour job lasted more than 2 days no one ever explained why the plumber no showed by 3 that afternoon I was told on the phone when they answered that no one would be coming out to fix it the big problem was that for over a week no one wanted to fix the plumbing mess that was started by Mullins which for me mint there was no toilet for over a week in my place of business these people are unprofessional undependable and just all-around not nice people.
I think in reading these reveiws I see a pattern. Mullin Plumbing snags people in with good work & then when they think they have them snagged they abuse the customer's trust. Very Christian way of doing business.
Never again will I call Mullin Plumbing after about 2 years of using them for various projects around my home.
I was very pleased with most of the projects; baseboard installation, replacing a seal on an outside faucet, installing an electrical outlet for an over the range MW & with only one disappointment which was rectified.
My son had installed a new bath vanity with sink & couldn't get the pipes to line up properly, thus a leak. I called Mullin, a guy came out - don't remember the charge or time spent but he replaced every pipe & fitting my son had just bought & even reinstalled the faucet. I didn't complain as I thought perhaps these things were necessary. Remember, I called him out to fix a leak. The next day there was a leak in his newly installed plumbing. I called, informed them of the leak & told them I expected it to be fixed & I didn't think I should be charged since that a leak is what I initially called them out for. It was just in a different spot. A very nice gentleman came out, fixed it in mere minutes & told me he would hot charge. It was a nut that hadn't even been attempted to be tightened. Kudos to this second plumber.
I am a recent widow & have never dealt with all of these issues before so I truly felt blessed in finding a company who would stand behind their work & not take advantage.
On the 2nd year anniversary of the last day my husband was home I discovered a small river flowing from my hot water tank, down the drive. It was a Sunday. I was told a plumber would call me back & give me a quote. Water is still running - all day & I'm upset - crying upset. A plumber never called me back but I was desperate so I asked that they send someone out the next morning - a MONDAY. I had been told the fee would be double on OT hours but regular hours were $104 for the first 30 min & half for each 30 min after plus parts.
A plumber came the next morning & when I asked what the approximate charge would be he automatically quoted $1900. Obviously it is a set fee no matter who or what is involved. After 2.5 hours & 2 trips to Locke Supply, he handed an electronic tablet in front of me to sign. It was a blank screen with only a line to sign on. I was not pleased with not seeing information so asked him the charge. $1900 still. Then he informed me I had to sign 2 more times, same situation, no text just a line to sign on. He explained something about so my credit card could be charged with the balance. I was very uneasy.
Several days later I received a receipt. No new news, just $1900 for install & brought up to code. I called and requested an itemized receipt. I did not get one nor did anyone return my calls or emails. My son-in-law called & then visited the office before he was successful in getting an itemized statement. The labor was twice the amount so in other words, OT charge but beside it was a comment of ""2 techs"". There were never 2 techs but I was charged for 2. My son-in-law told them there was only one guy, the lady told him it was a ""typo"". I guess we are idiots?
A friend who knows Markwayne Mullin personally attempted to contact him about this issue. He received no reply from his friend.
I will NEVER call Mullin Plumbing again & I have had another need for a plumber but NEVER again will it be this company.
Very sorry I didn't read these reviews before selecting this company.
My husband and I paid Mullin to pump our aerobic septic system in preparation of listing our home for sale. 50 days later (only 10 of which we lived in the home), the buyer's inspector reports that our tank is over 40% full and requires pumping!
We called Mullin to come out to inspect and remedy the situation as needed. They emailed a copy of receipt stating we accepted the service they did, but they said they would come out anyway. They never showed. When my husband called to tell them we were getting another plumbing company to do it right, all they said was, ""fine, have a nice day"". This company has no integrity and has no interest in rectifying the poor or dishonest work of their employees.
