We had a leaking roof about two months ago. I contacted roofer to do the inspection. They told me it was from the rusted pipe cap. I contacted plumber and they replaced the cap; however, it was still leaking. The plumber came over to my house again very quickly. They climbed into my attic and helped to identify the spots of leakage accurately.
They replaced the part (cone) and the roofer was also very helpful. Both of the companies cooperated with each other and replaced the cone of the pipe in just a few days after the leaking was spotted. No more leakage!
Thank you!

I was disappointed with Muetzel because after coming out on a Saturday to fix a water leak, they told they don't repair polybutelyne pipe. I wish they would have asked what type of pipe I had before coming out and charging me $125.00. They did find the leak but wouldn't repair. Otherwise, they were quick to respond to my call and the person who came out was professional.

Meutzel was called to replace the hot and cold valves, spout, and plumbing behind the wall on a bath/shower. Shaun and an assistant from Meutzel arrived to perform these duties. Shaun, on an earlier visit, had informed me of the necessary parts which I had purchased and now had ready. I assumed he could now put in the new parts. But now Shaun insisted that he could not replace these parts without part of a wall and a cabinet being removed, which he could not do. We were trying to get the house ready to sell, and Shaun insisted that the current plumbing worked well enough to get by. (The 70-year-old valves were damaged and leaked unless they were forcefully closed and Shaun had broken an escutcheon on his previous visit.) If we didn't want to tear out the wall and cabinet, he said that he could at least replace the escutcheons which I had already purchased. I said go ahead, and 30 minutes and $95 later he was done. I was busy at the time, and just signed the work order and paid him. After he left, I went into the bathroom to see what he had done. I was shocked. The new escutcheons did not fit on the old valves. The valves were exposed and there were large holes around the valves ready to leak water behind the wall. I could not believe that he thought that this was acceptable work. I could not believe that I had signed acceptance of the work without looking. I suspect that his reluctance to replace all of the parts was because he wasn't competent enough to do the job. I also noticed that he or his assistant had left cigarette butts in the yard. I was not about to let Meutzel do any more work and called another plumber.

We've used Muetzel many times in the past. They're our first phone call for larger plumbing issues. This was a big job, major blockage, and the team was professional and communicated with me every step of the way. This was a two day job and it was determined that they weren't going to be able to complete the job. Extra services were going to be required, possibly excavation requiring the city's involvement. I was very pleased that they refunded our money for day #2 of services since they were unable to resolve our issue. I'd recommend Muetzel over many of the larger companies.

Called for an a/c repair. They were quick and thorough. The final cost was $100 less than the estimate which was nice too.

Had been trying for over 1 week to use a national a/c company and they were more interested in selling a new unit than repairing our current unit.

Muetzel had a much better solution for a leaking main water value and a leaking PVC furnace pipe than I.
And it's nice that they are right around the corner.
I highly recommend.

I purchased my home in 1999 and used Muetzel exclusively since then. I was always happy with the service and recommended them without hesitation to friends.....

The last several times I've used them I've been disappointed. A leaking outdoor spigot still leaked after it was replaced, the plumber commented (negatively) on the color of my bathroom tile during a remodel - when he was here to replace the shower valve. The straw that broke the camels back? The technician who couldn't have acted like he wanted to replace my washer valves less, asking me if I wanted to call my husband before he did the work.

Not sure how a good company went bad, but I wouldn't hire them even if they were the least expensive option - which they rarely are.

The door rang and the first thing they said was it will be a hundred twenty nine an hour and a hundred twenty-nine to use the snake. I went to the basement with him and showed him where I thought the leak was a plug. He told me know it was and the other pipe and that was the air release pipe. So disconnected that pipe and he was wrong it was the other pipe. So I paid for him to disconnect the pipe that has nothing nothing to do with the problem and to put more stuff on it that I have to pay for. Then he went to the other pipe and he corrected the problem with a snake. The job should have been done there but then he went upstairs and he started replacing the stuff under the sink then he broke one of the lines of the water going out of the faucet and of course I had to pay for that too. But in the very beginning he wanted to take my whole sink out cut through the cast iron pipe and he kept blaming everything on this is the old house where there is old houses in my area. And also in the beginning we agreed about 200 would be the cost at the end he went out to his vehicle out there for half hour came back in with a 350 dollar bill almost and said how do you want to pay then he showed me what he did which I agreed to. The time that he was going to go over 200 the time that I did not agree to he should have came up to me and said hey I want to replace the stuff under your sink and so forth. At this time I was furious and I just gave them my credit card and he called it in and charge the 340 0r 330$. At that time he makes about face and he goes out the door not saying bye or anything it was the worst service I've ever gotten in my life. I would not go for this guy. The younger guy was a little nicer and he looked like being bullied by the other guy me feel and look like you felt bad but the other guy was just silly.

I want to commend you for employing a guy like Mike Caesar. i looked at the clock when he arrived and his punctuality would do credit to the National Bureau of Standards. He was polite, professional and dogged in his determination to find the source of basement water. Owing to the finished nature of the basement walls he was unable to identify the exact source of the problem but left behind several good tests to be performed the next time it rains. I'm confident I will be able to spot the source and it goes without saying I will call Muetzel to provide the solution.
