The young men that came out to fix my sump pump discharge pipe were great. Friendly, professional and described everything that they were going to do. They also made some great suggestions. I will definitely use them again.
Terrible experience with the owner (Hillsboro location) although everyone on his team was professional and courteous. I would never use them again.
Bad experience with E. Mueller Plumbing in Hillsborough (NOT the Warren business location). Wanted to install a 2 stage water filtration system and heard good things about E. Mueller. Not realizing there were 2 different businesses trading under the same name, I only saw the Hillsborough number on line. I made an appointment for a technician to come (for a charge that would be applied to the job if completed) in order to give me options based on my needs and what worked with the existing plumbing. The phone representative stated that they have several options and only install their own products. The technician came and after I explained that I wanted a 2 stage system for sediment and taste, he gave me an estimate for a system, including installation at $1370. When I asked for information about what the system would do, he didn't know but looked at one that was on the truck to get the Watts brand name and model number. I mentioned again that I needed 2 stages and showed him what I had found at Lowe's. Then I got an installation only estimate for the iSpring system that just happened to equal the difference between the first estimate and the price of the iSpring system. When I looked up the Watts product after he left, I found that it was for a one stage system. I then called the office to express my frustration at having paid for the visit and not only being offered the single stage option. The representative then offered a second option to address sediment and taste that cost $5,000! I then asked to speak to the manager. He called me back, expressed his reasoning my experience with the technician and stated that I had been given options. Still thinking I was dealing with the business that was recommended to me and that the technician seemed like a decent guy, I decided to go forward with the installation. The installation was completed per the original estimate after a glitch that was caught by the technician while he was reviewing the system with me and fixed immediately. When I cleaned the area after the technician left, I noticed rust on one of the valve levers (see picture) and asked an opinion from a contractor friend who said I should ask for it to be replaced with a new one. I called the company and left a message to speak with the manager. I also coincidentally ran into the person who recommended E. Mueller on the same day. This person was sure that I was not dealing with the individual he knew and gave me the Warren number. Ed Mueller answered my call directly and suggested I contact the Hillsborough office and speak with his son. Having left 2 messages on separate days and not hearing back from the Hillsborough manager, I called the number that I had from our last conversation. After I identified myself, he went through a very lengthy explanation of why he was not going to return my call. It was clear that he was not interested in what I had to say and spoke over me when I tried to speak. After listening to what I think he was his attempt to insult me many times, I told him that I would pray for him! Wow, now seeing others experiencing the wrath of this guy!
He pretends he knows how to work, but he doesn't know everything about hot water heaters he was so enthused on me buying a new hot water heater. He didn't want to replace just a small part of my hot water heater so I do not recommend these guys.
Dawn N.Needed last minute service at night and they called back within 1/2 hour and sent Cory to do the job!
Cory was polite, professional and knowledgeable!
Will definitely use them again for any plumbing needs!
update,, OK cold weather gets here and my pipe starts leaking,
had to call them again,,they came right over and fixed the leak
with out charge,, now that service was good, I understand the
man that came the first time was asked to leave because there
were problems with his work
I'm surprised to hear that anyone had an unpleasant experience with Mike. I found him to be professional, reliable and honest. I am a minority and a woman and he treated me with utmost respect and fairness. I have been pleased with the quality of his work and would happily recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber. Local, decent, honest guy.
Andrew W.Probably shouldn't text customers cursing them out and threatening them over a 69$ dispute... said, and I quote ""I don't need to be professional because I'm 100x wealthier than your ugly ass"" and ""at least I have a house you broke bitch""
Not someone I would hire.
Aria M.The owner of this business is a monster to deal with. I called because my bathroom seemed to be leaking and I knew he was local. His staff was so incredibly rude, demanding a fee before they even came out. I felt very uneasy after the call and googled some reviews and couldn't believe it - I realized I went to high school with this guy and he was a nightmare then and still is now. He will ask you what race you are, make fun of you if you don't have enough money for his work, openly makes fun of anyone who isn't a Republican. He will curse you out with terms I wouldn't use on my worst enemy. STAY AWAY!!!!
Ruined my counter top while removing the old kitchen sink. Would not pay to replace so took them to small claims. I won a judgment but Mike told me in mediation that even if he lost he would not pay. Do not use these people.
