These guys are great, and I especially want to thank Alex! They replaced our water heater this past month and they were professionals, timely, and communicative. They came out to evaluate our current system and pulled a quote together for us. They explained why they made the recommendations they did. The installation was smooth. We found a few more issues that they came back to fix. Alex even helped my husband look for our dog who went missing in the afternoon. MTZ Plumbing just completed a major plumbing job at one of my properties in Sunnyvale. Alex was the plumber in charge of the whole project. He was very professional and kept me inform through out the whole process, It took a long time to finish due to extensive tree root damage and old pipes. The front lawn had to be dug up to perform the repairs. I thought it would need to be replaced. But no when the job was complete, it looked great.

My daughter had a leak from the upstairs condo staining her ceiling. The upstairs tenant's plumber couldn't solve the problem. She called MTZ Plumbing Inc. and Hector arrived. He diagnosed the problem as an incorrectly installed wax seal on the toilet, explained the problem to my daughter, and affected the solution quickly and for a fair charge. She suggested I call MTZ

I had what I thought was a mainline clog backing up in the shower. I called MTZ and Angela and gave an estimate over the phone which included a discount for my daughter's referral and a Senior discount pending inspection.

Tim arrived, assessed the situation as a shower clog rather than my diagnosis of a mainline clog which plagued my house almost annually. Tim's solution was to run a cable machine down the shower drain and if that didn't unclog the shower, he would use a larger rooter down the mainline at no additional charge to guarantee a functional shower.

Tim was right in his diagnosis and mainline cleaning was not needed. To add frosting to the cake, the bill was $25 less than expected! For comparison, the ""Big Box"" Rooter service offered free estimates. When the BB technician arrived, he warned me that their new rates were the highest, with a starting point of $500 plus. Forget it! MTZ completed the job for less than 1/2 ""BB"" starting point.

MTZ you are my plumber of choice now: knowledgeable plumbers, clean work, good equipment, fair price, and a break for Senior citizens - way to go MTZ!

Hector was great!! Our home's kitchen sink suddenly clogged and we couldn't even do laundry during that time because water would gush out of the sink's drain. I called during late evening and MTZ Plumbing was very responsive to help arrange a time to fix our drain asap the next day. Hector was also on time and very detailed on explaining what service needs to be done in order to fix our problem. The price was reasonable since we needed replacements in the end and everything was fixed and working perfectly in less 2 hours upon his arrival. Highly recommend those in Bay Area to use MTZ Plumbing!

We recently had a major whole house repiping project in our home. MTZ Plumbing was recommended by a friend of ours who was very pleased with their work. Alex and Jose were the main plumbers. They were both professional, personable and trustworthy. They always kept us informed of the progress and their arrival time each day. I've used MTZ Plumbing several times now with several different technicians, and they've been great each time. Every technician has been on time, polite, and did quality work. In my most recent experience, my dishwasher wasn't draining properly, so I called and they sent out Jose. He examined several possible causes before concluding it was user (me) error, then flipped it on and watched it drain to make sure everything was working. He ended up not charging me despite the fact that I called him out unnecessarily.

MTZ Plumbing has cemented itself as my go-to for plumbing issues for the foreseeable future.
