Numerous Portland properties from the 1920s through the 1970s were fitted with galvanized piping. These pipes begin to degrade and break down after about a lifetime of use. Consequently, by the early 1990s, plumbing turned into a significant focus in my community, as most those properties were constructed in the early decades of the century.

The business of pipe replacement really took off in the last decade of the 20th century and has grown into a lifelong commitment.
