Newly purchased house and I called Dominic because my upstairs bathtub was clogged. Came same day and instantly noticed the stopper is new style stopper and it stops half way. He pushed it down hard and it opened up. He came all the way to the house and said no charge because he really didnt do anything. If you want an honest plumber that won't take advantage of your lack of knowledge in plumbing, he is definitely your guy. Will defintely use him again when the time comes.

It's Sunday and it's Father's Day, so I wondered how much luck I would have finding a good plumber to fix the only toilet in my house. Dominic returned my call quickly, gave me an estimated time and called me again when he was about 10 minutes away. I knew I liked him when he put on over-the-boot slippers before coming into the house. He fixed my toilet very quickly with quality parts and the labor charge was very, very, reasonable. I will definitely use him again and will recommend him to friends. This is the first review written on Yelp. :-)

power to the yelp! dominic was extremely polite, courteous, and professional. my experience was a very positive, stress-free one. i had 3 minor issues and dominic fixed it all right up. he even putt on booties over his shoes before walking on my carpet (i didn't ask him to). and he took them on and off like 25 times as he walked back and forth to his truck. very thoughtful. thank you dominic! i am a very happy customer!

My husband and I just bought a new-to-us older house in Castro Valley and have unfortunately needed our fair share of plumbers (and roofers and electricians!) to get the house in working order. After hooking up our new, fancy, front-load washer up to the original plumbing, the standpipe overflowed in spectacular fashion the first time the washer drained. I was terrified that it was going to be a really expensive fix (like we would need to upgrade our concrete-slabbed plumbing to deal with the increased output from a newer washer). We called MSK Plumbing after reading the excellent Yelp reviews, and I can guarantee the reputation is well deserved. Dominic (the owner of MSK) came by Saturday evening and was able to solve the problem by patiently snaking out the washer drain in about 45 minutes. The best part was the incredibly reasonable rate he charged, especially considering it was a weekend night. I am so grateful to be able to finally wash clothes in my house!

Solid and *stress-free* contractors & handy people are hard to come by, and Dominic is the most solid, reliable, no-nonsense and trustworthy I've ever worked with since being a homeowner for 5 years.

We've been using him for years, since we got the house, and he has cleared our bathroom and laundry pipes, fixed our garbage disposal and faucet, and fixed our water heater. He has a 30-day guarantee, but we've never needed him to come back because he get's the job done and knows exactly what he's doing, which is nice when someone really knows their craft.

When we call, he almost always comes right away, usually the same day, but if not then usually the next, and he works evenings, which is appreciated with my 9-5 job. He's always on call, is incredibly fast like he's in and out before I know it, is affordable, tells me when and where I can save money with my limited budget, and is extremely professional.

Sounds like he's going to hire another associate & expand, since he's so popular!

I've never entered a Yelp review, then again I've never had a 'perfect' plumber either. I own a small apartment building and had a major sewer backup. Upstairs was flushing and it was coming up the toilet and shower downstairs - yuck.
Dominic returned my call within half an hour and said he would come in his lunch break (he was on another job). Showed up on time and had the problem fixed quickly.

As he was leaving, the upstairs tenant tells me her kitchen sink is draining very slowly. Dom had to leave but said he would be back the next day - but late. He came at 7pm, fixed the sink and said there was No Charge. I've have never had to fight to pay someone - never. He finally agreed to a 'trip charge' of $29.

I called 3 plumbers tonight for a leak in one of my rental units and Dominic was the only one that called back and in about 2 minutes! He came over and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes and charged a fair rate for a nighttime emergency call. Highly recommended!!!
