Home Warranty sent this company to my home. They charged me 825 dollars to remove dirt from under my home due to a toilet leak before they would even inspect the toilet. THEY DID NOT Remove any dirt. He opened a bag of all purpose top soil and dumped it over the ground and charged me 825 dollars! I could have done this for under 10 dollars myself. Disgusting and Shady company!

I'm very grateful they were able to replace the water heater, however the did not show up on the time I was scheduled, I was late for work 1 1/2 hours. then the lady who answers their phone is not professional at all. Very rude lady. Then they never asked if I wanted the balance charge to the card I gave them for the charges that I had to pay for the visit: they charged my credit card and I wanted to pay with a debit. Big mess and very annoyed on how she was treating me.

Called them out to replace a toilet through HW. Told them up front the toilet needs to be replaced and that it wasn't an issue with the mechanical parts. Tech shows up says it is not the mechanical parts and leaves. I left three voicemails after to have them come back and was ignored. Had to call the HW company again to get a response. When they finally called back the lady was extremely rude. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs.

Update: They never followed through to contact tenant, and their VM says they will not take or return calls from Friday until Monday. Just the worst!

Mason actually is his first name and unfortuantely I don't think I will be able to forget that name for some time to come...

Okay so here's the scoop on this First American Home Warrenty issued business/contractor.

They sucked. Sucked is putting it mildly as after having them assigned multiple times to the plumbing needs which fell under our less than savory home warranty company's list of covered items; they never did make it out to the house.

Why? First few attempts they wouldn't call to schedule the appointment. I would call, leave detailed voicemails; no returned calls. That is until several days after the fact. At that point I'd already spent hours upon hours fighting with the crappy warranty company to have another plumber dispatched due to the lack of responsiveness by MSE.

Mason who I finally did speak with told me it would be days until they could actually make it out for a chronically leaking toilet already causing damage to the flooring in our home.

When I questioned him his response was that was the best they could do; take it or leave it.

I left it. Unprofessional arrogance is distasteful not to mention ethically questionable; @ the very least.

It's taken me some time to complete this review and maybe something has changed since then, yet either way the experience is true as are the events surrounding it.

Andy, from MSE Plumbing, replaced the failing heating element(s) and the thermostat in our electric water heater. He was professional, proficient, careful and very skilled in his work. Am very pleased with the results and wouldn't hesitate a moment to have him return to fix any other plumbing issues in our home.

Fixed the issue but when problems arose they got very shady. It felt like my interests as a customer were not addressed and they were going to screw me over.

MSE plumbing was assigned by American Home Shield Insurance to come fix my water heater. The technician who came out said he will need to replace the controller and that should resolve my heater pilot light problem. They ordered the part and came back after a week to replace it. Technician claimed that he fixed it but after around 2 hours I started smelling gas which was leaking out from the controller as technician didn't put the gasket back on the coupling.

I kept calling MSE plumbing for next 3 hours but no one returned the call. Gas continued to leak and It created an extremly hazardious condition for our family and we had to evacute the house on urgent basis.

My home warranty people kept telling me that I will have to wait for MSE plumbing to respond to take care of this issue and they won't be able to assign any other plumbers. I am now out with water heater since yesterday. Highly disappointed with both MSE plumbing and American Home Shield Insurance.

I would suggest to stay away from MSE plumbing, Even if American Home Shield (AHS) assigns you this plumbing company then ask for another one because you don't want to expose your family and your home with hazardious saftey issues.

Six months ago MSE plumbing was assigned by my home warranty company to come fix my water heater. The gentleman who came out said he replaced the thermal cupple and that should resolve my issues. He did not fix the cover that goes over the pilot light he told me I should cover it with tin foil and that was the end of his service.
Today three months later I am taking another day off of work due to my water heater being out again. My home warranty people tried to send the same people out again. The lady that answered the phone for MSE told me that she couldn't have anyone out until the end of the week I tried to explain that I have no hot water and a mother of three children I couldn't go without hot water that long. She rudely referred me back to my home warranty people.
So I called the home warranty people again...
My home warranty people sent advanced plumbing out the next day the arrived at 1:15 for an appointment window of 1 to 4 pm which was great and the whole appointment took less than an hour and he also took the time to bid other plumbing projects around the house for me. Thanks Chris from Advanced plumbing you were awesome to work with and I recommend your services to anyone.
