Had a major leak under kitchen sink. First company from home warranty didn't make their scheduled appointment, tried to reschedule they were rude and unprofessional. Called warranty company said block them send someone else. They did. MSE plumbing called promptly and scheduled appt immediately. Their window was only 3 hours not 5 like the first company. They showed, worked and conquered. Job was completed, took pictures and wrote model down numbers in case. Very personable and Mason showed me where the problem was. If it comes loose again he can order a new one since he has the numbers. I would do business with them again in a heart beat.

My Home Warranty sent this company to my home for some plumbing issues with 2 of my sinks. Of course I came to Yelp and saw the reviews. I was nervous. To my surprise - I am super happy with this company!
Mason was assigned to my case. I was given a 4 hour window slot - he called me and let me know what time he was coming. He called me when he was on his way. Which is great! It was at the very top of the window so i have the rest of my day, yay!
He was very polite, straight forward about my issue, clear and concise about the plan and executed and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently! Great service! He even taught me a few things! I would def recommend MSE Plumbing!

I contacted my home warranty American Home Shield late Monday afternoon for a leaking pipe in our bathroom. I received a call from MSE within a couple of hours and an appointment was made quickly. I was apprehensive after reading the reviews and was on the verge of calling my home warranty to ask for a different company but I decided to wait and see. Well...I have to say I'm glad I did. I was given the dreaded 4 hour 8am to 12pm window and figured my day was shot. I got a call from Jamil (Jay) at 9:20 am and he was on his way. 15 minutes later he was at my door. I showed him where the problem was, he fixed it and was done in less than 30 minutes! So relieved because now we can finish our bathroom remodel on schedule. Thank you Jamil!

I don't typically take the time to rate a business unless I'm very happy with a job or very disappointment and MSE earned a slot in my schedule. Horrible communication, diagnoses of my plumbing issue had no effort put into it and they aimed at diagnosing me with a high priced job even though I had clear evidence that we didn't need to go in the direction that their employee suggested. Follow the reviews and go somewhere else.

The first person MSE sent was Mason. He didn't know how to fix the faucet. As a matter of fact he made it worse than it was. He left saying that it needed a new part to fix it, but he never ordered it nor call or came back. The second person that came, Eddie promised to call back that evening or in the morning after sending the report to the insurance company, but instead he sent a report stating that the part broken wasn't normal wear and tear. Yet we still pay monthly to American Home Shield and we were billed $75 for them coming out. Unfortunately AHS has horrible companies that they use and there customer service is really poor!

MSE and Budget Plumbing are the most unprofessional plumbing companies ever! They were sent by our home warranty company and wasted our time, tried to make us feel stupid by saying there wasn't a leak (there was very obviously a leak), and made rude comments to me about how I'm a women and don't know anything. If your home warranty company tries to send them, ask them to bypass them and send Advanced Plumbing instead! Super friendly and they fixed our leak in 5 minutes, literally. I am appalled that companies like MSE even exist!

BEWARE of MSE Plumbing !!! I regret the day that I called American Home Shield (AHS) for service on my water heater. Ed collected the $100.00 service fee almost before he walked through the door and then told my husband that he would order the part (some sort of adaptor) and would give me a call by the end of the day. Three days later it was still crickets from Ed, so I called MSE during my 12 o'clock lunch break and left a voicemail requesting a callback with a status on the part order. I didn't receive a call until the following day from Satina who is very rude and unprofessional and could stand a crash course in customer service. After multiple exchanges with this person between June 1st - 10th and 10 days without hot water Ed showed up and installed the adaptor (that I later learned could have been purchased at the Home Depot around the corner and installed on day one of this nightmare). A couple hours after the repair I noticed a strong smell of gas, so I called PG&E and within 30 minutes a serviceman was dispatched and confirmed that Ed did not properly connect the gas line, which leaked gas while my two year old played in the home. This is UNACCEPTABLE and I have filed a complaint with AHS and with the California State Contractor's Licensing Board.

MSE please get it together, you are dealing with your customers lives!

MSE was dispatched twice for two different jobs by my home warranty and what a nightmare BOTH TIMES. Ed was first plumber who mis diagnosed a kitchen faucet leak. Ended up having to obtain a new faucet with Moen since it had lifetime warranty but I still had to pay $60 shipping. Found out old faucet only needed a washer. Second was for hot water heater. Installer was a good guy but the company owner tried to charge me more than what the home warranty agreed to pay. I had to fight this and notified the warranty company which told me I wasn't responsible. I also insisted on having the county required hot water heater permit which I don't they would have bothered with had it not been for my insistence. There are better and ethical other plumbers available.

What a fucking disaster, Ed came in the only thing it seems like he wanted ot do is collect money, and not do the work, half assed the entire job, and I had to pay another person to fix his shit!!!
a crook and a thief!!

Nope!!!!! Never again! Our water heater went out and Ed was sent to fix it. He spent five minutes here and said he needed to order a part and would do so on his way to his next job so it could be shipped over-night and received the next day. We later found out he transferred the job to another company at 6:00 am the following day, meaning two additional days to get the problem fixed. It is tough having a baby and no hot water for a week. Furthermore, the company the job was transferred to came out and identified the problem, fixed it within minutes, and did so without having to order anything!
