I recently moved to the Chicago area and have been doing some work on my new condo. I ran into an odd electrical wiring configuration when trying to install a new chandelier. I emailed Larry to set up a time to get a quote and included a picture of the wires to help him see what I was talking about.

He emailed me back very quickly with a very thorough explanation of what I needed to do to get the light installed! I followed his steps and got it done this past weekend. My wife and I are extremely appreciative. We will certainly use Larry if any future projects come up!

I had Larry help me with some baby gates and other random baby proofing a while back. I had been putting it off for months because it takes me forever to assemble those types of things. Larry is very responsive.. I had an electrical issue and also some concerns about HVAC maintenance in my condo-- Larry was kind enough to exchange several emails with me, sharing his knowledge and experience even though the issues did not warrant an immediate visit. So, Larry is the man.. he will DEFINITELY be my first choice whenever I need handywork done in the future.

Here's the other thing. Because I'm a female, people think they can take advantage of me.

Okay, one more thing. Larry was awesome! I called him to help me take off the top of my pedestal sink, and instead of coming to charge me an exorbitant amount of money, he let me know that there was no need for that. He gave me the instructions over the phone so I can do it myself without being charged.

There are very few people who are able to do business like that. Most importantly, there are very few people who are not selfish and really care about customer service.

Thanks to Larry for being a stand-up handyman. He will now be the first person I call for anything I need done around the house.

Larry just installed 3 pendant lights over our kitchen island and they look great! He is fast, efficient, reasonably priced and very friendly. I will definitely be having him do some more projects in the near future!

Found Larry from previous Yelp reviews and hoped for the best. We needed a kitchen light replaced. He provided excellent advise thru e-mails even before we had ever contracted with him to do the work. He came (on time) and replaced our light for an agreed upon fixed price. He was careful, clean, personable and polite. We will absolutely be calling on him when needs arise!

I would give more than five stars if I could. Larry is responsive and reliable and very warm and personable. He arrived even earlier than he said he could, fixed half a dozen different things around the house and charged me less than the price he quoted. He is knowledgeable in many areas and I would trust him to fix anything. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
