This morning I discovered a leaking toilet. I called Mr Rooter right away. The service guy, Rich Carter, arrived within half an hour of my call. He covered his shoes, identified the problem, and fixed it right away. Rich was very nice and friendly. Pleasant to have in my house. And the best part--he really cleaned up after the work was done. Nothing left for me to do!

Although they were able to make the house call on the same day for $49, the simple repair quote (because they are task oriented) was over $500 when, in fact, I had it repaired later the same day for $65. I feel it was a bit of bait and switch. $49 down the drain!

I live on a road where 7 residents share a well. Mr. Rooter came out to do some work on one of the lots and hit a waterline. Off goes the water for 4 hours. As it was nearing 5:00 another neighbor and I asked one of the workers what the deal was- his reply ""well, the glue has to set up for 24 hours so the water will be off"". We called another company who has been handling the overall well for years and asked for some assistance. The main tech said the information we were given was untrue and the glue normally sets within 15 minutes. We begged him to come out, now after hours and fix the line and he responded. When the second company tech arrived, Mr Rooter employees were back on scene and were directed by the second company to ensure no leaks. The waterline held and we had water, but out of cost to is us $125.00 (excellent deal for after hours and emergency response). This morning we called Mr. Rooter supervisor and questioned why they wouldn't flag the water line ""before"" digging. Kaleb (supervisor) stated he was certain his crew followed protocol and ""accidents happen"" and refused to reimburse our out of pocket costs. If not for the secondary group, we would still be without water. If you feel lucky, hire them- otherwise you may want to seek a different company that will stand behind their work AND their mistakes. Unbelievable

We called for help because the shower backed up with water. Mr Rooter had just been here in January to clear the pipes. This time we were informed a pipe was crushed. Since they ran a camera last time why wasn't this detected. We had the septic pumped just 2 years ago and there are only 2 of us. They insisted on doing it again so they could work on the pipe. It was $200 to locate the septic even tho I told them where it was. It was $800 to pump the septic, which they did LAST!! When they got done we owed them over $4000. Never again!!! We could have skipped the pumping and I knew where the septic was. There are a number of local companies who can do just as good of job or better for less money. Call one of them!! Mr Rooter price gouges.

We are on our way back from cottonwood az to camp verde noticed one of your drivers speeding in a 65 mil an hour zone going 70 75

Update to review below. First of all, I am not from San Francisco as it says. Second, I neglected to include names. Names in lights include Caleb; get him if you can. They also include David and Royce. You can't go wrong.

What a great experience! Our water heater broke and the bathroom was quite flooded. I called four other companies but none could get to our home for at least 3 days. I called Mr Rooter and Beverly arranged to get a technician to our home in an hour! Rich showed up promptly, quickly diagnosed the problem and explained to us what we needed to do to get this resolved. He even talked to our warranty company to help us get the project approved. Thank you!

Awesome service! They were knowledgeable, communicative, and fairly expensive but they did the job right and quickly!

The company rep came out to do an annual inspection. The water heater wouldn't drain due to mineral buildup. He said he could put in a new water heater that day for $4500. I said OK not knowing what it ""should"" cost. He reduced the cost by $300. But with a bottle of septic system cleaner and other charges it all came to $4500. He said I needed a pressure relief valve as my local water pressure was 110 psi and that my new water heater should be in the 70psi range. So luckily I called a different plumber to do that. When he arrived I asked what he charged for a 50 gallon AO Smith water heater installed. He quoted me $2100 for the identical water heater installed. I called the company to complain about paying double normal cost. The person I spoke with said they're a franchise and have lots of extra costs and offered to refund me $100. All I can say is ""Buyer beware."" Don't get stung like I did.

Mr. Rooter is an awesome company. This is the second time we hired them. We had a drain problem with the washing machine they came out with in one day and fixed it. It took them longer than expected because of the age of our house and the old pipes what are installed. They did not charge us extra for their time then the estimate he gave us after arrival. They left the house super clean and were very professional. Very rare to find a company like that.
